BUYER BEWARE! worst experience I've ever had buying body jewelry here- I plan on telling everyone I know to avoid this shop. I ordered a custom septum clicker in a specific color offered by Industrial Strength. That color is no longer offered by them but the shop didn't inform me of this. Instead, they ordered me a completely different color without asking me if that was what I wanted. When it came in, I tried it on in the shop for 2 seconds and decided to take it because I don't like being difficult but I really didn't like the color. I never wore it so I brought it back to the shop to return it and get a different color that I actually liked. I was told by the person who took my jewelry back that they would make a one time exception for me and take it back since it was their mistake. Today I get a call and was told I will need to pay an additional $75 fee because my jewelry was worn and they can't resell it. Understandable that they can't resell it since I tried it on but ridiculous that I'd have to pay a fee since ultimately it was their mistake AND I was told they would make an exception for me. Terrible customer service. You've not only lost a potential repeat customer but others that I will tell to steer clear of your shop. read more

It's official, I love this place and Mia! We finished my ears last week and I LOVE THEM. I can't say enough great things about Mia. She was so patient helping me select jewelry and so meticulous about the placement, I knew it was going to come out perfect. Sure enough, it did! The process itself was so fast (I did 4 lobe piercings, 2 stacks in each ear) I didn't even feel the pain. Any soreness wore off by the second day! I made a last minute appointment today with Bryan for a 2nd lobe ear piercing. I know, right? In the middle of a pandemic. I cannot say enough about the staff here! I called and spoke with Maya to let her know I arrived outside. Less than five minutes later she called me back to let me know the door was unlocked and I could come in. As soon as you walk in you have to sanitize your hands and fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire. Maya was so helpful explaining the type of jewelry they carry and in showing me different options. I decided on a gorgeous peacock opal. Bryan was so personable! He talks you throughout the entire session and was just great to have a conversation with. If you're someone who gets anxious for new piercings, see Bryan. He will definitely be able to ease you and comfort you during the process! I've never gotten a piercing done where they use alcohol, the iodine (after ensuring you aren't allergic), and just sterilize as well as Bryan did! The shop was so clean, everything was disinfected with hospital grade wipes. I was shocked. Here's the thing, don't come here expecting a $40 piercing. It is pricey. But it's quality jewelry! It's the cleanliness, it's being treated like family. It is worth every penny, plus a lifetime warranty on jewelry (not lost or stolen). I came here to get peirced with my sister and we both had Mia. She was so amazing and kind throughout the whole process. We were very indecisive on what type of earring we wanted and she was patience with us and never felt like we were on a time crunch. Mia explained to us that they do not pierce with guns and all thier earrings do not have butterfly backs in order to avoid the back going into the peircing. My daughter (17 yrs) really wanted to get more piercing in her ears, but no way was I taking her to the mall (!!). I started there first because of the selection of jewelry I found on the internet. They had the best, most unique pieces in the 50-60 mile area. I can't say enough good things about this place! I got my septum pierced here and had a great experience. Everyone was really friendly and nice - they made me feel comfortable and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry with a combination of expert advice and just generally telling me what they thought looked pretty. Fast forward to about 1.5 years later - I had moved out of state and managed to lose the jewelry I was pierced with. I was super sad because it was high quality and beautiful - looked exactly the same as the day I got pierced. I went to several tattoo/piercing shops in my area and nothing was even close (in quality and just general aesthetic) to what Diamond Heart has. I ended up emailing the shop and Lenae answered right away saying she'd be happy to ship something to me. She sent me photos of what she had in stock and I was able to pick out another beautiful piece. Nothing but fabulous customer service, beautiful products, and really nice people. I had an issue with my peircing that I was getting a bit worried about.(nothing to do with how it was peierced more about how my body reacted) Without hesitation Leane told me to come on by and she'll take a look. I went there on a busy Sunday afternoon and within minutes she took the time to see me. There service is outstanding and even though it's an hour drive for me I will always go back here since it is a place I can trust. You can honestly tell that they care about you and what is right and not a shop that is just doing the day to day. The new location is wonderful with more jewelery or so it seemed. This place is amazing!! I took my sister here after I found out they were an APP piercer (meaning they have qualifications to meet when it comes to the quality of jewelry, sterilization, skill, etc). Lenae is so helpful and knowledgeable. She helped my sister know why some past piercings hadn't healed correctly, helped her pick jewelry for her new piercings, and make sure that my sister knew exactly how to care for them. She even looked at my conch piercing and changed the post to a short one so it wouldn't get as irritated. Lenae is definitely one of the main reasons I will be returning when I get the hoop for my conch once it's fully healed!! Jeff (he helps behind the desk) let me sister look at every option of jewelry so she knew she was picking her favorite. Overall, an awesome piercing experience! I got my cartilage pierced earlier this afternoon and was impressed by the friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff here. First, they walked me through the different jewelry styles and pricing. Next, they thoroughly outlined information about the actual piercing and post-piercing care. Although this was my second cartilage piercing (got the first cartilage piercing done elsewhere), I found myself still learning new tips as they went over care and maintenance. Finally, it was time for the actual piercing, which was done by Vicki. She was super accommodating when marking the piercing location, taking into account where I wanted the piercing to be while also providing insights based on my ear shape and her past experience. The entire process was hygienic and I was at ease when the actual piercing took place. Vicki also stressed to come back at all for any reason, which I appreciated. My sister also got her nose pierced around a year ago here and had a similar positive experience. She went back recently to get the nose piercing post shortened. Vicki even gave her tips about a piercing shop in Asheville, NC, where my sister would be for the summer, to get the piercing post shortened even further. I've been to Diamond Heart twice now - once for a lobe piercing and again yesterday for a cartilage piercing - both times with Mia. The studio is really lovely. It's in a very charming part of Flemington and is very clean and has an overall good vibe. The jewelry choices are beautiful. Just came here to get my second tragus piercing and cannot recommend this place enough. The place itself is beautiful, staff is friendly, nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. They have a machine that insures the jewelry you've picked is sterilized and all needles came out of the package. Very very very clean for anyone anal about sterilization- come here and that worry will disappear. The piercer herself was so kind. I was very worried since my first tragus piercing(not at this place) I had fainted (I know, lame) and I expressed my concerns with the piercer. She was so gentle, patient and quick- virtually painless. Overall awesome experience.
