We highly recommend Al. We went in and spoke with him about our ideas after seeing his work online and getting several recommendations from other people. Instantly we had a good feeling about him just in meeting him. We booked our appointment for the cover up tattoo and it completely exceeded our expectations. His work is beyond incredible. I'm looking forward to getting my tattoo done next!

Nikki just finished my Stephen King inspired Dreamcatcher tattoo and it is awesome! Nikki was very kind and intuitive with getting all the exact detail that I was looking for.. And the price was right in my budget. She works efficiently and very easy to talk with. The shop is very clean and everyone is very kind and professional ! If you are looking for your next tat, then this is the place to go!

Al has done it again! His work is incredible and we will never go anywhere else. This is the second cover up he did for my husband. His artwork is amazing and he is truly a talented artist!

Nikki was so helpful in creating the perfect tattoo. She was patient in adjusting the size and location. The shop was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Had my first tattoo ever today, done by Nikki at "Working Class Art." She was very patient and professional; I was extremely pleased with the result. Will definitely return in the future. Wouldn't let anyone touch me with ink- Nikki's the best! By the way, I checked out 3 or 4 other places and I found Working Class Art to be the cleanest and most professional studio around. Highly recommended+++

Got my tattoo from Rob. He did a shamrock with a celtic knot in the middle of the shamrock. Came out great and has held up over the years.

This was my first ink and Nikki made me totally comfortable and gave me lots of good advice for how to care for it.

No rides for the kids, but what do you want for free? Fair Warning: If you're expecting rain, the fair might open but you might want to park elsewhere. The parking lot tends to get muddy and at least one year many cars got stuck deep in the mud.

This annual event, always on a W-Th-F in mid-August, is an area tradition. Unlike other county…read morefairs, there's never a charge to get in or park. The food tent is 100% local non-profits (fire departments, churches, Boy Scouts, etc.), so you know the "profit" is going to a good cause. A not-insignificant chunk of the food revenue goes to the 4-H and helps fund this very expensive event. There are no rides, but you can visit politicians at various tents and stands. The emphases are agriculture and education. You'll see cows, chickens, goats, cats, dogs, horses, and a host of other critters. There are also bands and stuff for the kids like operating a back-hoe (really); the Children's Museum exhibit; model trains, cars, and planes; the Rutgers Extension service; clubs; etc. There are commercial displays for mulch, basement waterproofing, etc., but you don't feel like it's a hard-sell trade show by any stretch. If the weather is dry, there is some parking at the site, though parking at Raritan Valley Community College (a few miles away, but with free bus shuttles) is recommended. If it rains, they quickly curtail or close on-site parking and it may take longer for the shuttle service (which is now air-conditioned buses!). The smart move is to take off a day from work if you can, and spend a few hours. Evenings are far more crowded, in addition to dealing with rush-hour traffic in general. FULL DISCLOSURE: My church operates a stand under the gigantic food tent, and I spend a lot of time there volunteering.
