Right off the bat he showed confidence he could make what I already have work he had it drawn up within 2 days and I was there less than a week later getting the first session. He was extremely detailed and made sure he made everything look perfect not only is he a great tattoo artist but the rest of the shop is awesome too I was there all day so I got to meet and talk with the other artists in the shop they're all extremely cool and I got to see the tattoos they were doing which all looked amazing. Both will offer genuine suggestions as opposed to superficial advice. I recently worked with Denny on my 2nd tattoo. My pup crossed the rainbow bridge and I wanted his paw print tattooed. The only thing I had to work with was a foam imprint of his paw from the crematorium. Denny worked his magic to size and recreate my pup's paw print and designed it to look like an ink print. I had a nostril piercing that I was forced to remove for a medical procedure. I thought no biggie…read moreI've changed my piercing before, when I get home I will put it back in.I went to put my hoop back in it wouldn't budge. My hole had closed over in a matter of hours! My hoop was a thin dainty 22 gauge and I wanted to keep it or something similar. I called several places but no one had anything that size. I walk into Forever Ink, entrance was in the back was immediately greeted and spoke to Malakai. He was so nice and took the time to explain everything to me. Malakai tried to taper the piercing so he wouldn't have to re-pierce it but it turns out a nostril piercing can close very quickly. Well, that went downhill faster than a fat kid on a snow tube. Bummer. Malakai was the best! He was very kind and took the time to explain everything. I appreciate his direct no non-sense approach. Piercings are wounds and wound care is not something to play around with. I for one want someone who is knowledgeable and takes the time to make me feel comfortable. I don't understand the bad reviews, I suppose he might come across a little rough around the edges, but it's obvious he is very caring and wants the customer to leave happy. Everything was sterile and clean. Everyone there was so nice and the shop just had a good vibe. Cash only but there is an ATM on site. Piercing was quick and price was very fair. The other artists were talking to each other. The music that was playing was current music which added to the vibe. Nicole is awesome! Highly recommend her. I told her I'll definitely be back. She did an awesome job and I love my tattoo. I look forward to going back for my next tattoo. Being able to collaborate with Nicole on font and style was really good.

Very clean line work and he was nice enough to keep me calm. Reason why I won't give this place more than 3 stars is because I got piercings done there as well. The guy that tattooed me, Brian, pierced me and apparently were not done so clean. One he did too far and my gauges are a bit crooked (my right gauge is lower than the left).
