Bad Experience at This Dental Clinic I had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic and feel it is important to share it so other patients are aware. 1. I had a dental implant done at this clinic, but it later had to be removed due to severe pain. I do not feel that the potential risks or complications were clearly explained beforehand. The entire experience was very painful and frightening. 2. The clinic was out of my insurance network, but this was not clearly communicated when I called to make the appointment. Instead, I was only told about the financial details after I had already arrived and was seated in the clinic. Patients should be informed about insurance status before the appointment so they can make an informed decision. 3. I was charged additional money for a very simple procedure (just placing a loose crown back in position). The cost felt unreasonable for such a minor treatment. 4. A full-mouth X-ray was taken even though it did not seem necessary in my situation, which resulted in additional radiation exposure and extra cost. 5. The financial staff member provided an explanation about the charges after I sit in the exam chair. the discussion felt somewhat forceful and made me uncomfortable. It did not feel like there was much room for open conversation. Overall, the lack of transparency regarding insurance, costs, and treatment decisions made this experience very frustrating. I believe patients deserve clear information before treatment so they can make informed choices about their care. read more

You shouldn't rely solely on advertisements. All problems such as implant fracture and detachment are the customer's responsibility and have nothing to do with you. And they even used the most expensive brand. It's frustrating, but I can only accept my bad luck。 read more

This is the absolute worst dentist I've ever been to in my life. I am shocked at the high ratings they have. First of all, they call from a bunch of different numbers when you do call the number that's on the insurance card, someone answers and they don't speak a word of English. I took my son. He's two years old and he has cavities so they told me I need to wait for something in the mail to come to be referred to a different dentist for him. It's been two weeks, and I still have not received a thing. I call them and no one calls me back. Do not waste your time if you need your teeth fixed or if you need your kids teeth fixed! Definitely go somewhere else because this place does not care about you. read more

Dr. Li did 6 dental implants for me last year. My front teeth look so great now. I have gum disease for years and I feel so lucky to find Dr. Li. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She recommended gum surgery to save as many teeth as possible for me first. Then for the real loose teeth, she removed them and place dental implants on the same day. Worst Dentist I have ever had, seemed impolite and rude. During the cleaning his assistant constantly pointed the water jet to the back of my throat, causing me to gag continuously. Even after numbing my gums, this was the most painful cleaning I have ever experienced, will never return. read more

I've been coming here since March of 2021. So far, I am satisfied with their periodontal treatment. Appointments were fairly easy to make, since they were willing to see me within the week, compared to a couple of months out with other periodontists. I came for an evaluation of a loose molar, which Dr. Li said sadly, must be taken out. After that part, their administrative staff also gone over with me necessary treatments, and how the implant installation works per step, and also how the insurance, and my own payment, will cover it. They also advised me the amount of possible pain for each step, which to me, was tolerable. Even though my general dentist only noted the loose molar, and referred me to the periodontist, Dr. Li also recommended additional work in other areas once the molar implant is done. It shows me she cares more about her patients' dental health than general dentists. I do look forward for my implant result, and work on the other areas as well. read more

Got my gum surgery and implants done here. Dr. Jingjing Li and staff were amazing. I was missing some back teeth and had red swollen gums. After several sessions with Dr. Li my gums have healed and now I can chew on my back teeth like I used to. The doctors from China are not professional at all. They chose this clinic because they said they could accept Medicaid. At that time, I went to the clinic to check my teeth, and without my knowledge, they said that I had 5 cavities filled. Actually not that much. It's all about trying to scam money from my insurance card. I also lied to me and told me to do a deep cleaning, but Medicaid did not include this item. I paid $300. On the same day, I was given anesthesia and quickly did all the deep cleaning of my teeth. Later, I changed to another clinic and the dentist told me that the deep cleaning is done in two parts, not in one time. So I got scammed again. read more

The attitude of receptionist is really bad! After consultation, she refused me to pay by cash with the discount price at first (which they provided the price when I made the appointment) , and was forcing me to use my dental insurance to charge more. You need to be really Clear with the receptionist about the bill before you visit the office. read more

AVOID DR. NGUYEN PLEASE!!! I would give this place a zero star if I could. Receptionist is really rude and kept calling me by a wrong name. Dr Nguyen is super impolite and rude. He never really listens to you. He scolded me and said I'm ridiculous because my brackets fell off twice. Like come on bro, isn't it normal when your brackets fell off a few times during the procedure? Even if this is not common, isn't being patient and polite to your patient a basic principle to a doctor? Like wtf... Come on, he is actually the RIDICULOUS one. After saying that, he and his assistant pulled my face really hard to put the new brackets on as it was on purpose. Anyways if I can file a report for this place and doctor, I would definitely do. This is bully and extremely rude. I have no clue what I do wrong to make them against me this me. I don't think it's appropriate for anyone to ever do that. Besides that, he's also really unprofessional. The procedure took more than three years already. It was already ridiculously long and he never found I had an extra tooth that blokes my teeth moving. He just never listens to what patients complaining about. Overall it is the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Anyways I have switched orthodontist. I neglected my dental health for a while now and it was time for me to get a check up and cleanings. I went to Diamond Dental Specialty upon a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Dr. Li is an amazing periodontist with great chair side manners. I was very comfortable with her and her diagnosis and got my cleanings and periodontal surgery done. Now my teeth are feelings stronger and should I need implants for my neglected teeth in the future I will definitely have Dr. Li do the implants. Furthermore the prices are affordable. I highly recommend Diamond Dental Specialty. I don't understand where that one negative review is coming from. I highly question the woman with the negative review.
