S'mores was sweet and nostalgic, capturing chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker in a fun way. Overall, a great mix of classic and playful. What we received did not reflect that vision. The cake was a very dark plum throughout, the finish looked uneven, and the ombré effect was not present. My husband immediately noticed that it wasn't what we had asked for, and it was honestly upsetting to see something so different from what we expected. That said, the flavor was absolutely delicious and truly the saving grace. We chose a more unconventional flavor combination of lemon cake with blueberry compote, and it tasted incredible. Many of our guests commented on how good it was. While the cake tasted wonderful, the visual execution did not align with what was requested or shown during the design process. Given how meaningful the wedding cake is as both a focal point and photo moment, this was really disappointing for us.
