Half day's time to: -replace brakes -replace rotors -full tune-up I thought it would take two days, so I was shocked when they called me. A week ago, I brought my car in during the recent heat wave to have the A/C compressor clutch…read morereplaced. My A/C was still blowing cold--the clutch was just squealing, and I couldn't stand the noise anymore. I supplied the replacement part myself, and after giving them my vehicle's year, make, model, and engine information, I was quoted $520 for the installation and refrigerant recharge. I agreed to the price and dropped the car off. The next day, they called and said there would be an additional charge because they "weren't aware" of the type of refrigerant my car uses. This was frustrating because they had all of my vehicle information before I even brought it in. Suddenly, the new price was $750. I told them I needed some time to think about it and would call them back. About 5-10 minutes later, they called again and said the compressor clutch bolt was seized and that I would need an entirely new compressor. My options were either to replace the compressor or have them reinstall my old one. No pricing was discussed during this call, so I told them to just put my original compressor back on. A few hours later, I called to see if my car was ready, and they acted like it had been sitting there waiting for me. Then they told me the bill was $390. They eventually agreed to $300 cash, but here's the problem: my A/C worked when I brought the car in, and now it doesn't work at all because they evacuated the refrigerant and never recharged it. I understand to an extent paying for labor. But charging me $300 after leaving my car in worse condition than when I dropped it off is unacceptable. Their labor rate is $130 per hour, and the timeline of the phone calls doesn't seem to support three hours of labor. A little understanding, detailed communication, & customer service would have gone a long way. Instead, they earned $300, a one-star review, and lost a repeat customer.

I don't think I've ever had an auto shop experience like I've had here. Several things stood out…read morefor me during my initial call and visit. First was the friendliness. Second was understanding the problem. Third was the speediness of potential diagnosis. Fourth was the speediness of the potential fix. Fifth was the free diagnosis. Even then, we weren't fully sure the problem was fixed, but the way the matter was handled gave me reassurance that I could easily see myself coming back here if it wasn't totally fixed. I have a 2005 Subaru Forester and the issue I've had is probably just because it's an older car, so I'd believe there isn't a one size fits all solution, since there's just been a bit of wear and tear that makes it more uncertain on the culprit. I found it interesting that Miguel was so comfortable stating I could either bring it in or tell another company what they could do to fix the issue - to me, that says he's fine without another customer, but that he's worthy of having a check out - says that he's fully transparent and I really appreciate that. Super nice dude with a basic place (no frills), gets straight to the point, and exudes trustworthiness and knowledge. I think it's somewhat difficult to find that nowadays, esp in the auto industry (many places feel slimy, I didn't get that impression here), so I'll be back (insert terminator voice here).

We had a great experience here last week. I was having some issues with my car AC and called them and was able to promptly get scheduled for service. Everything was straightforward and organized. They asked if we could pick up the car sooner than planned which was a little tricky within the workday schedule, but they offered to slightly reduce the bill to cover Uber to get my husband there to when we didn't have an extra car- I thought was a nice gesture. Overall, positive experience and we will be visiting them for our future car needs!

I didn't want to wait in their small waiting room with my baby because I knew she would get antsy, so we ended up walking around downtown since the weather was nice. After about an hour and a half we walked back. After a few more minutes, the lady at the front desk told me "He just about to start on yours, I didn't know you would be waiting and we had two waiters here when you got here." Just really upsetting to make an appointment, stress yourself out to make sure you get you and your baby ready quick enough not to be late for your appointment and then be treated like a walk in. Long story short, they're nice enough people and have decent prices, but don't bother making an appointment, if you just walk in I guess they'll get to you faster.
