I recently went here to get a few kitchen knives sharpened. They did a pretty good job, but it was roughly $30 for 3 knives. It felt a bit pricey. On the plus side, they are extremely responsive. The shop is very easy to find, tons of parking available. read more

I came here to get my Chroma bread knife, Old butchers knife and Shun 9" sharpened. The shun also had a chip. First, the good. The people here are extremely nice and seemed interested in my knives. The first minor concern was when they had never seen an OTF knife or my chroma. The assumed husband and wife seemed to work well together. The pricing was great and he even sharpened my 4$ wish pocket knife for free not that that steel deserves to be sharpened. The prices are per inch which is much more fair than prices based on knives The HUGE problem is that they do not sharpen knives. The store got me concerned when I walked in. There was all crappy swords and gimmicky pocket knives. Maybe they want to sell lots of crappy steel so they have more to sharpen. Ok so my knives just WERE NOT SHARP. I struggled to get the brand new edge to cut through salmon skin and eventually gave up and used another knife. even with a big chop the butcher's knife couldn't do it either. My pocket knife also couldn't get thru a layer of tatami. I doubt they were honed much less stropped. If I knew the sharpening was this bad I could just use the electric sharpener I have at home. if you have nice knives you care about that you want really sharp DO NOT come here. If you want to be told your knife is sharpened everything else is great. I'd only come back for chip or tip repair, but I am probably recognizable from this review so it would be too awkward. also "Dublin knife sharpening" doesn't exist its like "someindianname and someindianname blades" or something. Just recently found out that Dublin had a knife store and had to check it out. My wife and I popped in and were blown away!! An amazing family run business with a great selection of knives to satisfy a collector, military, LEO, hunter, and anyone in between. Deepak and his wife and son were very welcoming and answered all of our questions , also had a few nice conversations in between. This will be my go to knife store from now on. read more

I came in today to have 3 kitchen knives sharpened and was greeted by Deepak and his wife both of whom were friendly and professional, I left my knives to be picked up in the afternoon of the same day which was pretty awesome. The knives are now pretty sharp but I have to dock some stars from my overall review because the my vegetable clever now has an uneven edge being that towards the end it was ground a bit more and the other knife has a bit of an uneven bevel towards the tip both on the same side, I am a novice knife sharpener but i feel like the grinding was a little to heavy using the right hand. read more

I am a professional restaurant chef and sharpen all my knives myself on a whetstone, but when it comes to serrated knives I'm at a loss. Found this place on Yelp and while they had a prior engagement they told me about on the phone, I dropped it off and they delivered it to my doorstep later that night. I found this business when I was looking for local knife sharpening. I had a few kitchen knives sharpened as well as my construction knife. I love this place. It's run by Deepak and his wife. The new name of the business is Deepak Chopra, (no not that Deepak Chopra), so I hopefully they will change the name on Yelp. Both Deepak and his wife were very nice and a great pleasure to work with. I probably spent a half hour there talking shop and products. The have hundreds of knives on display from Swiss Army Knives to swords that would be great if the zombie apocalypse ever comes. ;) It's a rather large selection and Deepak and his wife seem to have excellent knowledge. Knife sharpening is probably one of those services where it doesn't really matter much where you get it done. However, you'll enjoy this place because of the excellent service. It's a small business run by nice people. Who wouldn't want to spend their money at a place like that. read more

I went in last week to treat myself to a birthday gift and found myself greeted by an amazing husband and wife who were very professional and helpful in letting me see everything they had in the brand I was looking for as well as other amazing customs. Checked around and their prices were among the cheapest. Really nice couple that own and run the business. Fixed a tip of a broken knife at no charge. Knives were sharpened in an hour while I went to lunch. Did my entire set of Chicago Cutlery for only $76 (14 knives total). read more

I brought a set of kitchen knives in for sharpening. The pairing knife had about a 1/4" of the tip broken off. Deepak quoted the cost and the time they would be ready. I went out and had a quick lunch, and when I returned the knives were done and he took care of the broken tip of the pairing knife for free. Great service, and very nice people.
