Shane is terrific and I learned enough in one lesson to come home a train my dog! Shane has been doing these for many years and it shows.

Gary was just the right amount of direct but supportive. He taught us lessons that built upon themselves and after the full course, we now have the tools to help our pup live his best life. Totally worth it. Very flexible with schedule and good communication. Already our new family member has made huge strides. Thanks, Gary!!

The initial consultation went very well, and I learned so much about dog communication and how to better support Peaches. I also learned that she is a highly anxious dog, which explained many of the challenges I had been concerned about. We enrolled in Gary's six-week program and finished with the tools and knowledge needed to keep Peaches on the right track toward recovery. Just like humans, dogs rehabilitate at their own pace, and over those six weeks Peaches made significant progress. We're looking forward to enrolling in advanced training once she's ready so she can enjoy more freedom off-leash. Gary is not like other trainers we've worked with. He doesn't rely on obedience-based shortcuts or gimmicks. Instead, he teaches you how to work through real situations and explains the theory behind his approach so you truly understand what's happening and how to handle stressful moments. Most importantly, Gary teaches you how to become the focal point for your dog, which has made a lasting difference for us.

She was knowledgeable, patient, and truly seemed to understand our dogs, despite their differing personalities and temperaments. We had significant house training issues with our younger female, but Patti, with much diligence and patience, was able to successfully train and housebreak her into our now mistake free dog. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Patti as our dog trainer/boarder, she truly loves dogs and it show in her results-would highly recommend!

I watched numerous training videos online and did a group training (I don't recommend that either) - nothing helps since you need hands on private training and that's how I found Patti on here. We did 6 sessions and she helped us train Louie and focused on his reactivity, basic walking commands, door bell reactions and recall. Patti came over to our house for a few sessions and the rest of the sessions we met at a park or a public place so that she can teach us the real world situations when we're out with Louie. She explains everything very well and why dogs behave the way they do. She'll take photos and videos and send follow up notes as well to help us remember everything we learned each session. It's a lot to learn and you have to continue to practice everything and you'll see a difference in your dog's behavior. We've seen a difference in Louie and very happy with the results. I definitely recommend Patti if you need help training your dog. Thank you so much Patti!

Millie absolutely adores him and gets so excited every time she gets to work with him! We've been working with Adam on leash manners, general puppyisms, and building good habits, and he does a great job making the training both productive and fun. We especially appreciate that he makes sure both Jamie and I are involved in the training, so we can continue reinforcing what Millie is learning at home. We couldn't be happier with Adam and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring dog trainer!

One thing I especially appreciate is that he offers both indoor and outdoor training, since my dog, Oscar, behaves very differently outside with distractions around him. While he listens well indoors, my commands sometimes seem to go "in one ear and out the other" outside, and Adam really focuses on addressing those real-life challenges. I also have two dogs, and even though the training is primarily for Oscar, Adam has gladly provided helpful tips and guidance for my second dog as well. After each session, he sends detailed notes so I can continue practicing with Oscar throughout the week, which has been incredibly helpful. Adam is flexible, accommodating with scheduling, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. I recommend Pawsitive Interactions to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive dog trainer.

I was so happy to find their training is still top notch, positive reinforcement, and reward based. I was excited to continue my puppy training with their Puppy 2 Training class. Twice. But in all fairness, I wasn't as invested in my training efforts outside of class so that's why I needed to go through it again. I was very excited to have Leanne Neufeld as my trainer throughout all classes. She must have eyes in the back of her head because she sees EVERYTHING going on and is quick to jump in and help with specific training that each puppy and guardian needed. She makes it look so easy, but she also makes sure you know how to do what she is demonstrating. The Top Dog Academy online videos are extremely helpful and they also do zoom training each week where you can ask questions. I highly recommend Sirius Training. You and your pup won't be disappointed.

What's worse was our puppy was very small compared to the other puppies (golden retriever, labradoodles, Rottweiler, English bulldog, etc) who were very active. It was his first time meeting these bigger size puppies. When she tried to have my puppy with the other shy puppy, she didn't really assist us and apparently my puppy got over protected after leaving him with the Rottweiler. After that , he's scared of meeting new people and puppies/dogs. Overall experience it is a fast paced training. Not worth $200. I should have continued watching YouTube teaching my puppy and take him drop off social classes. Don't waste your money....

We love our veterinarian, and she highly recommended Dodger's Paws. Here is what I'm already loving, 2 weeks into the puppy program. . . Great communication and easy to sign up . Convenient hours for working dog parents . Clean Facility, safe set up . My kids are welcome to attend and participate, and we're ALL learning. . Martha is a wonderful teacher/coach/support. She is patient, she explains the how and the why regarding our puppy's behavior. In addition to learning basic commands, and going over safety guidelines, we are provided with a plethora of tips about happy and healthy dogs. Martha has 4 dogs of her own. She's empathetic, down to earth, very honest, and makes the class fun with her upbeat personality and stellar sense of humor. I love when the hour is coming to a close, and we have the opportunity to ask questions. It's been a great experience, and we are enjoying our sessions at Dodger's Paws very much.

They didn't really have any suggestions to help with that. Also, the classes are outside in a warehouse with an open garage door, so it was freezing. I had to dress my dog in a sweater, and I could barely stand to be on the cement floor for the duration. But here's the thing: my dog is a Maltese. Like all Maltese, he is barky, a bit whiney, and a very picky eater. Small dogs are often not food motivated. They had no idea how to deal with that. They would continually ask us to leave because we were a disruption. We literally got kicked out of every class! It was a dog training class, and he wasn't well behaved enough for it? I mean, they knew he was a Maltese when we signed up and paid the hefty price. If what you train is Labs then fine, say so and don't take my money. This is probably a great place to go if you have a lab or a big, food motivated dog, but if you have a small dog then don't waste your time and money. Look elsewhere.
