This business thrives on luring people in through Groupon and then squeezing every last dollar out of them with false promises and flat-out lies. And since the owner decided to respond with their usual scripted nonsense, here's the truth: My "positive review" was NOT REAL. I posted it because your staff literally dangled a discount: "Leave us a review, show proof, and get 50% off your next series of treatments." That's not voluntary -- that's incentivizing fake reviews, and I have the email screenshots from your employee to prove it. So spare me the "we never offer discounts in exchange for reviews" lie. It's insulting. I dropped at least $2,000 at this joke of an establishment, and for what? Absolutely nothing. You even admitted that BodyFX requires multiple sessions and results vary -- so why on earth were you encouraging reviews after ONE treatment? Because you WANT people to post premature, misleading reviews to boost your ratings. That's the game you play. If you truly ran an honest business, you wouldn't need to bribe people for reviews and then deny it when called out. The fact that you're scrambling to defend yourself instead of addressing your shady practices says everything. I'll be reporting this to the BBB next -- and trust me, I'm not the only one who's had this experience. My only regret - not posting this review sooner. They are also an authorized distributor of ZO Skin Health (medical line of Obagi). The doctor and staff are nice. And they speak English and Mandarin. I found this place because they are listed as the authorized clinic on http://www1.candelamedical.com/, the device manufacturer of Picoway. Their price was competitive for Picoway in this area. The treatment has brightened my skin, made the texture smoother, and reduced the dark spots on my face (after four treatments). The level of pain was tolerable, and the downtime was acceptable, i.e., a few days. I am very happy with the results, and I highly recommend Picoway as an intensive treatment. I also tried Hydrofacial. This is a deep cleaning process with mild exfoliation. This treatment smoothed my skin, and it helped with my blackheads. In addition, they also sell ZO Skin Health products from Obagi. I highly recommend the sunscreen from ZO, which doubles as a lightweight and long-lasting primer. The doctor and staff are nice.
