From day 1 she has been so incredibly thorough, attentive and genuinely caring about my well-being. I have struggled with hormone imbalances, depression, adrenal fatigue and skin issues as well. I had severe shoulder pain from weight training and only had about 30% mobility in my left shoulder. I went to Dr. Tacita for an unrelated reason but she noticed my shoulder issue and suggested we try "PIT" (Peri Neural Injection Therapy), which I never tried before. I didn't know if it would work but thought it was worth a shot. After just the first session, 80% of my pain was gone. I'm continuing the treatment for a few more sessions to hopefully help the remaining pain but I'm SUPER pleased with the results so far! Sadly updating to a 2 star because of the awful receptionist. I called to get pricing for their PRP procedure and literally had to fight with the receptionist to get an answer out of her. She kept asking for my name over and over likes she's some sort of a cop, if I have seen this doctor before etc. All I wanted was pricing to see what I was in for because I was very interested in the procedure. I asked her why she needed all of that info when I just kindly asked for the price, and literally this is what she says "uh....because we note all of our conversations." Really? That's odd. At that point I was so frustrated with her condescending tone, I was about to say thank you and hang up but she finally gives me the price. I say thank you and am about to hang up when she interrupts me and says "the reason why I wanted to know if you were a patient was because sometimes Dr. Tacita gives deals and promotions to patients." After we hung up, she probably felt bad for her tone and demeanor so she actually called me right back but I didn't pick up. I don't even know why I bother with this place. Every time I have called or have been here, they always try to upsell their services and products. When they did Groupon, I bought one of their promotions. When I got to use it, they tried to get me to buy a package of 3 microneedling treatments at the same discount rate as Groupon. Who does that?? And last I checked that's a violation of terms with Groupon. I don't like this place for all of these reasons and will never come back because of their constant unprofessionalism. read more

I am very particular with my skin and rarely get facials because I don't have a lot of faith in many estheticians. I've had microneedling several times with Dr. Robertson at increasing needle depths, and recently after a strong microneedling session I started peeling a bit, and I booked a facial to help remove the flaking skin. Her esthetician talked me out of the glycolic peel I wanted, arguing that my skin was still repairing and encouraging the "new" skin to peel could lead to scarring. It turned out she was probably right. Even just using an enzyme cleanser felt like a bit too much for my recently needled skin. Trust: earned. She also has years and years of experience at a med spa, and is a fan of some of the more obscure yet effective treatments, such as micro current and radio frequency. Her demeanor is very soothing and reassuring, and she's very knowledgeable about ingredients. When I was skeptical of the caviar cream she applied to my face, she said that gold and silver (which the cream contains) are antibacterial. She told the best story about her mom using her wedding ring to get rid of eye stys when she was a little girl, and she grew up thinking that it was "the power of holy matrimony" that removed them. I'm a huge skeptic, so I looked up antibacterial properties of gold, and it's mostly true (also used in other medical indications). I also visited Dr. Zoe Draelos' site (a derm who literally wrote the book on cosmeceuticals), and she doesn't discount caviar's collagen-inducing capabilities, and says it's "supposed to be similar to human skin allowing amino acids to speed up collagen production." However, she does say that even though it's "green" and not derived from petrochemicals, it's not exactly environmentally sound. I will definitely be going to see Kasha for future peels, micrneedling, and skin maintenance. read more
