I drove to the place, pulled up and they immediately worked on my car. I had to bring my own oil and filter which was inexpensive. They were very quick with it. I…read morehave now come here for two oil changes and two vehicle inspections and felt very positively about the service I received here, especially since I am not knowledgeable about cars, don't have the tools necessary to work on my own car, and do not have a garage. This also means a lot being a young woman and first time car owner. Every time I've been here, I walked in and the service that I wanted was done within 30 minutes. They have a comfortable waiting room with waters, coffee, armchairs, etc. They also updated me about the state of my vehicle and performed extra services as needed, for instance they filled my tires with air and refilled my windshield wiper fluid (without me asking) and free of charge! MD Automotive goes the extra mile to make sure I can keep on rocking and rolling, and as a relative newbie to Houston and vehicle ownership, they really make me feel like my car is being well taken care of. I cannot speak on the quality of their repair services which I noticed make up most of their poor reviews, but for oil changes and regular service, I will definitely be coming back here!

I had my minivan here for an engine light on and my regular mechanic was closed for the weekend. When it was finished I told him I needed to drive to Dallas the next day. He said it would be fine. The van literally broke down on the way home and I had to have it towed back. When I got it back there were muddy footprints on my seats and the employee said they had to drive it 100 MILES to make sure the engine light didn't come back on. I had to spend more money to rent a car to go to Dallas. If your car needs more than an inspection seek someplace else.

HORRIBLE SERVICE; They will Take Advantage; i drive a 2018 range rover velar had a coolant leak…read moretook it to dannys they held my car for 3 days and when u received my car i paid my balance all to not have the issue fixed they didnt even put coolant in my car which made it overheat more and mind you i pad for coolant. when i brought it back the same day the claimed to of put coolant in. they also said they changed my water pump lol i took it to two other mechanics that said the water pump was never touched. when i confronted Danny about it he was speechless. this mechanic shop will take advantage of you if they think u dont know much about cars. i have proof that the water pump was never replaced. take a look at my picture below and ill let u decide if this is a new water pump or not.

Called and got a quote first for new brake pads (I think it was $185 but can't remember for sure) and then got a quote for brake pads and rotors, which was $450 including labor. But it turns out I put it off for too long and also needed new calipers. He lifted my car up and showed me how they were leaking brake fluid. And this didn't surprise me because I could feel my car was no longer braking. He finished everything during my work day and only charged $1,000. Ryle is among the top three mechanics I have ever used and had by far the fastest turnaround of them all. I can't recommend this guy enough!

I came in and asked for my signal light to be replaced as well as my oil and filter changed. I was told it would be ready the next day since I came in around lunch time. I brought the supplies required but I brought the wrong bulb so they used their own which is fine. I just don't know in what world it is okay to charge 79$ for a signal light replacement EVEN IF they used their own light. I bought the wrong one but they're not selling bulbs for more than 10$ at the auto store. As for the oil and oil filter I do understand I have a diesel so I'm always charged more but 99$ feels like a lot especially since I brought my own things. Everyone I told about these prices said they said it was overpriced. I don't really know much about cars or what things cost in this area which is why I was asking all my friends but I'm not coming back because I feel like it was pretty pricey and this was with a 20$ discount from the mailer.. I'm kinda disappointed because I really wanted to support a small business but never mind. They did get the work done and were very nice so this is why I gave 4 stars. These guys saved my engine…read more I had some unusual noises after repairs. Chris suggested checking the water pump and discovered the timing belt was close to breaking. I had the both the water pump and timing belt replaced at a dealership just over a year ago and was shocked that the dealership had improperly installed the timing belt. Fortunately Chris and the mechanics at the Auto Doc caught the timing belt before it broke. Highly recommend.

I Had Terrible Experience By Mayco Auto repair. I was…read moreReferred by a Friend to here, But that was my worst experience in mechanic shops I ever Had. That's unbelievable. I took my Truck there with Running engine for repair. I asked them estimate, they wanted me to wait for 1 Hour. After that they gave me estimate of $4500 for some repairs on the Truck. It looked expensive to me and I wanted to Try another mechanic to make sure I'm not being over charged. Guess what? They car was not Running any more. They opened many parts from engine. I asked the mechanic to put it back on, He was very Rude and said: NO, YOU NEED TO PAY AT LEAST 4-5 Hours Labor to me, (4x$120), Minimum $500 to put them back on. They never had my permission to take off parts from engine for Diagnostic. I asked Manager to Talk and the Manager was even Worst and Rude. He was forcing to charge me. They never put parts back and I Had to get Tow truck to take out my car because I was sure their plan is to just charge you, No matter what. I called Tow truck to come and take it to another mechanic. Finally they charge me $100 for Diagnosing fee and my car was Not running any more. I payed a lot to tow the car to different mechanics and No one touched the car because some else took parts out and cut the bolts off. A few weeks later any other mechanics recommended me to take it to the original shop who took the engine apart and ask the to put parts back and make engine running like it was originally for Diagnosing and repair. I went back to the shop and talked to the Manager Which still was so Rude. Asked Him to fix the Car With His original Estimate around $4500. Guess what? This time he said $6500 for same repair. What normal person or Owner Does that? That was unbelievable. I asked them to do at least for $5500 for same original estimate of $4500. Same work just because I left and had to come back. They knew it and it was part of their plan. The manager said No. You have to pay $6500, Nothing less. I asked him to put the parts back like originally and pay him the labor he wanted. He Said No. I told the Owner I will leave reviews and let other people know about it. He said Do it, I Don't Care about reviews. I had to leave because I was sure even if I pay them the $6500 they never fix it and then want $10,000. The whole car Doesn't worth more that $6000.
