Fred and Mary were an excellent team. They were courteous, they knew their stuff, and they went the extra mile by shortening my long dryer vent to smooth out the air flow. Doug is great at his job, he was at my house today, and all went well...... But two years ago, my dryer duct was one of the worst ones he had ever seen. He and his crew, worked for a long time, and finally got the MONSTER clog out.... They were friendly, never once loosing patience. read more

I called Doug last night and left a message that we needed to have our dryer vent cleaned ASAP. He called this morning and said he could have a crew out within an hour. Fred and Mary arrived promptly, and were courteous, professional and educated me on when it would be time to have the vents cleaned again. Our dryer is now working efficiently! I plan to use Lint Bandits annually, and I highly recommend them. Please take a moment to call them, especially if you have not had your dryer vents cleaned in a while. read more

Good clear communication, polite and helpful, good job! Definitely recommend them.

We just bought a new dryer which senses the airflow. The Check Vent light was on signaling a blocked vent, so I called the Lint Bandits. The service technicians were very polite and efficient. The service was very thorough and the amount of lint that was removed was astounding. The Check Vent light no longer comes on. Good work! read more

Fred and Mary were great. Mary even cleaned my floor behind the washer/dryer. I got a lot of good sound advice about keeping the ducts clear and saving energy. I would recommend this company highly. read more

Lint Bandits were perfect! They provided great service and were professional and quick when addressing our dryer vent problem. Highly recommend! read more

I got an appointment the next day and the work was done quickly! They pulled out a lot of lint and 2 feet of hair (eek!). I wish I had gotten this done before my dryer's heat element blew out. At least I know now it's how to test the vent from my dryer and also that it's good to get the vents cleaned out regularly to avoid issues not only with your dryer but as a preventative to potential fires! read more

Lint Bandits cleaned all 18 units in our HOA in a single day. Here is why I, an HOA president, would highly recommend them: 1. Doug, the owner, answers all calls and has excellent questions and responses when you first make contact. (Other dryer vent cleaning services I called had "dispatchers" pick up and could not answer simple questions like, "How much will a cleaning cost?") 2. Doug quoted a cost (a discount if all 18 units could be completed in one day) per vent line and remembered and honored that quote when all work was completed even though some of the vent lines were VERY difficult to reach. 3. Doug contacted me the day before the scheduled cleaning to check in and review the work to be done. 4. Doug called the morning of the cleaning to update us on his arrival time. 5. Doug and Fred were jovial, efficient, persistent in their efforts, and informative throughout an entire day's worth of work. They were with us from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and their energy and focus never waned. Even when it became clear they would have to make their way into small crawl spaces to clean the 18 vent lines properly, they attended to the work with care and never scrimped on quality or rushed to complete the work that needed to be done. 6. Doug recommended improvements to the vents we could make in the future and the very next day sent us a quote for work to be done on each recommendation. Our HOA will be using Lint Bandits for all future dryer vent cleanings and repairs. read more

I would definitely recommend This crew to anyone looking for dryer vent cleaning. Not only were they able to set up an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, but they communicated well and were prompt. They were affordable and did a great job. read more

We called Lint Bandits because we were getting a 'clogged vent' error message on our brand new dryer; based on lots of other deferred maintenance we'd found in our still-fairly-new-to-use home, we suspected there was a backup of lint inside the wall. Doug sent a team out within a few days and they literally did the job in 15 minutes, even showing me what they did so that we could in theory do it ourselves next time. We will definitely call them if we have need of a professional vent cleaner again! read more

Very, very happy with the company and the people who came out to do the job. I checked with several competitors and the prices were all fairly close. When I called and spoke to the owner there was something about him that I felt like I wanted to use them. They were the only ones who indicated they could fit me into their schedule on the next business day. They arrived on time, took care of business, and were finished within 30 to 40 minutes. I also got some good advice from them regarding some other vent-related issues. Would definitely use them again and also would highly recommend them. read more

Thank you Doug and the Lint Bandits for doing a fantastic job cleaning the lint from our dryer vent. Thank you Doug for scheduling the appointment so quickly. Your associates arrived a few minutes before the appointed time, which rarely happens, they were very professional and very nice! I can't believe how much better the dryer works, so much faster, could it be because there is NO MORE LINT! :-) It is amazing how you get used to running the dryer twice to dry a medium load of laundry, not any more....you took care of that and I am thrilled. Never mind the savings on our electrical bill and the peace of mind knowing there is no longer a potential fire hazard due to built up lint in the vents which I am sure many don't even think of. While some made comments that your price may have been a little high, I would gladly pay a little more for excellent service, excellent care taken to insure that the laundry room was cleaned to perfection as was the outside vent area, and a job very well done. Not everyone takes pride in their services, but the Lind Bandits certainly do. Being in outside sales all my life I appreciate the excellent service, and service with a smile! I will recommend you to all my friends and family. I am looking forward to having you clean our air ducts after our kitchen, downstairs remodel. Thank you again, LInt Bandits! Another very happy customer! read more

I bought my home in Livermore as a foreclosure and had no clue as to what was or wasn't done to it in terms of maintenance -- I'm learning that there was more not done than done by prior residents. I got referred to Doug by my AC maintenance company -- Doug was in contact with me quickly and had an opening pretty much the next day. The crew actually arrived early, was courteous, quick, and efficient. I have several long-haired cats and an ever-shedding Labrador -- I had all the air ducts and the dryer vent cleaned out and I'm really glad I did. Very reasonably priced, and I like supporting a small local company over one of the bigger, pricier chains. I'll call Doug again in the future and I'd recommend his company to anyone. read more

The company seems very responsive, they were flexible in scheduling the app-t, and clearly stated what they were going to do. Most importantly, these guys did a great job - a lot of lint out, and the next time I use the dryer I am sure I won't have to run it twice. read more

Glad I found Lint Bandits! They were able to access the dryer vent exit on the roof. Dryer no longer emits an ominous burning odor. I can now dry my clothes without fear of burning the place down! I would recommend Lint Bandits without hesitation. read more

I had an urgent need for DGC Services and they responded to my call even though it was over the weekend. The technician arrived right on time and was courteous and thorough, and he explained exactly what he needed to do to get the job done. He also took the time to clean up the area before he left. I'd recommend DGC Services to anyone. read more

Workmen were slightly delayed for our appointment, but called to let us know, and called again when they were en route with a revised time. Both Mary & Fred were very professional and cleaned out our dryer venting at the dryer end and also along the entire run of the vent pipe (30'). They also revised the vent tubing between the dryer and the wall to improve the airflow. They completed the job in less than an hour and also recommended that we cycle the dryer several times (without clothes) to help dry out the inside of the vent tubing--something I probably would not have thought about. read more

Lint Bandits is awesome! Scheduled a time that was convenient for me (and no 2-4 hour window to sit around waiting), arrived on time, and cleaned up completely when the job was done. The guys were also careful with my wood floors. Very personable and efficient too! I highly recommend Lint Bandits! read more

Lint Bandits arrived on time, were friendly and courteous, and did a wonderful job. Great service!

I had a blocked dryer vent and called DGC after reviewing a lot of feedback for similar services in the area. Finding a reputable service provider turned out to be harder than i anticipated. Even the large, national companies had spotty reps. All things considered i decided to take a chance with DGC and gave them a call. They worked around my schedule and I made an appt for the same day. Fred was a little late arriving but immediately set about his task of unblocking the vent with gusto. He was extremely polite and showed a lot of perseverance with the stubborn blockage. I've given 4 stars because after removing a lot of debris he wasn't happy with the airflow. He offered to return if needed if after a week i wasn't happy with the performance of the dryer. Bottom line is that Fred completed an excellent level of service and my dryer vent is now unblocked and in working order. I'll circle back to this post if another visit is needed. read more

Contacted Doug through Yelp to get a quote for cleaning my dryer vent, which is located on the roof of my house. Received a response very quickly. Appointment and subsequent visit by his two employees (I think it was Fred and Gary) was timely. They were very efficient and cleaned up the areas involved. I think the process took under 25 minutes. They showed me the lint, which was about half the Shop-Vac full; I think I was actually expecting more since I had never cleaned the dryer vent in the 8 years I've lived in this house, which was bought brand new. I received an invoice by email prior to the work being done and remitted payment to the employees by check when they completed. Overall I am satisfied with the experience. The reason for the one star being taken off is that the quote was much higher than I expected, especially for the amount of time it actually took. And this was having compared it to some of the other reviewers and another quote from a different company. I ultimately went with this one because it seemed more established and professional. I know getting this done is important to dryer function and preventing fires, but I have to admit it's cost prohibitive to pay this much every year for it, so I'd probably space it out much longer than that. I think if they included cleaning the lint out of the actual dryer (like farther than I could do with my vacuum), the cost *might* be more palatable. I would use their services again and recommend them to others, but with reservations regarding the cost. read more

Wow! This company is great! My husband had been trying to work with a competitor in the area originally but to get the guy to actually show up to do an estimate to have our roof cleaned (moss) and gutters cleaned out never happened because the guy was a flake. The other company lost out on our business but THANKFULLY we spoke with Doug at DGC! Not only was he prompt in responding, estimating and completing our job, but when they were running late from their last job, they called us to let us know they would be delayed... who even does that anymore?? Fred was the gentleman that did the work this weekend and he was SO NICE! We really enjoyed his professionalism and the roof looks amazing! Not only was their cost competitive but they even made repairs to our gutters where the debris had caused separation and damage free of charge!! I would certainly give this company my business again and would specifically ask for Fred. It's great to find a business that conducts themselves with respect and pride in their work! Great job!!!! read more

We'd been battling trying to dry our laundry for awhile. Called our home warranty company and said we thought our dryer vent ductwork was blocked...they sent out an appliance repair person...who stated "sorry, we don't do ducts"...called the warranty company back, repeated our thoughts....got another appliance repair guy.....finally we tried to suck out the clog...well...our duct work runs under our house from one side to the other! Thus our dryer finally overheated...now we did need an appliance guy...luckily when I told him what we thought about the dryer vent duct clog.....he gave us Doug's phone number!! Hallelujah!!! Finally someone who knew what they were doing!! Doug responded to our call within minutes and was able to fit us in the next day! The giant lint clog was impressive to say the least!! They did a fantastic job of clearing it out and then they cleaned all the lint up! They are amazing!! I will definitely call them for future work and recommend them to our friends and neighbors! read more
