Went to ace hardware Palm Coast on 1/14 /26 @ 3:50 pm. Looking for a part for faucet. Person at register was sitting and on his phone. He told me what aisle to look and I couldn't find it. Went back to him for help and he told me what was there was there. No effort to help and was still sitting there on his phone. Went to Home Depot and got what I needed. read more

While I was shopping, multiple employees asked if I needed help, and the lady who checked me out at the register was very friendly, and set me up with the Ace rewards program. ALL their locations owned by this owner (he owns several) are "hit and miss" meaning on any given day - you can go Ace in to Bunnell or St Joe Plaza or at Old Kings & 100 and get treated well and helped - or you get treated like a pain while the staff all talk amongst themselves. Some things like small hardware items they are good at - other things - there are always excuses why they do not have inventory and have no solutions. read more

Can I just say that ACE HARDWARE (FLAGLER LOCATION) has went down so bad. I was just in there 6 months ago at that time I saw new faces which I asked what happened to the other employees gentlemen working said we replaced them with better staff well that was a JOKE because in my 20 minutes of being in the store I heard the new Management talking poorly about his cashier and also a customer. This time when I was in there like 3 days ago no one greeted me when entering the store older lady working register seemed very tired and stressed out. I looked around for help no one to help a guy was out back but he was unloading stuff finally found another guy in the back by the key area after I over heard him talking loud using very disrespectful language seemed to be on the phone after standing there 10 minutes yelling can you please help me he came out very RUDE when I asked him for help he made me feel like a idiot because I needed help. Than was telling me that he is not a Team member he is Management and that's why he was sitting in the back so next time ask for a team member to help at the register . During my visit I waited in line for 15 mins as the cashier struggled with her register repeating over and over to the manager it was crashing. The manager came up looked and said oh it does that? She was in need of assistance and got none. There were several other employees? There must have been 10 people behind me waiting when I left. Where is the manager during this chaos. This is a well stocked store, well layed out and well maintained. Plenty of parking out front. The first thing I noticed when I entered the store was that most of the staff was women. And not just regular women but hardware women who know where everything is in the store are are knowledgeable about home repairs and hardware in general. They are friendly and efficient. Check-out was quick and painless. Compared to the competitior's like Lowe's and Home Depot, their inventory may not be as much volume wise but trust me, they have it all. Not only that, you can actually get a question answered here promptly and courteously. I have not always found that at their over-staffed competitorss. Definitely going on my list of favorite hardware souces. I just wish it was a few miles closer to my home. read more
