I recently started going to a different dermatologist located above this pharmacy and they had sent my prescription to this location. I asked them why they sent it here instead of my preferred pharmacy at sams club and they told me they work very well with this pharmacy to the point where a lot of their prescriptions for their patients come out lower than traditional pharmacies. Ok well, I figure why not and it saves me a trip to my regular pharmacy. I walk in and give them my name and they bring me my medications and pay. Very short and simple no fuzz no hassle with them. The first time I used them I had to give them my correct address because they had the wrong one on file... like... how do you get that wrong.... it came directly from upstairs lol whatever. They also told me that they offer free delivery, I was like what! That's crazy but they do. I have been with this pharmacy a couple of months now and recently I have been getting this text messages saying 'you might be running low on medication xyz' and when I click on it the online checkout comes up for my medication. It already has my address and insurance info so I just pay for it and it gets delivered to my house. I never thought of how convenient this feature was! It saves me a whole trip and a half wow. I have called once to gain more information on my RX and they were nice and professional. The few times I have gone in person have been good, the people working behind the counter were professional so no complaints from me. I have a couple of prescriptions that i get from here and I thought they were kinda pricy but i went only and looked at how much they cost I could not believe it. One of the creams I use was about $200 for 4oz! I got it in this farmacy for less than $30. I even when into my sams club pharmacy and ask how much that same cream would be with my insurance and they told me it would be about 90-100$ wow! I do not recommend them. I was not able to get my cream out of the bottle. Maybe it was empty? They gave me instructions to make it come out that did not work and ask me to send a video which I did. No response. I ended up using a year old cream instead since I only had a small window to do my treatment. These guys are incompetent. They sent my prescription to my old address in Austin. All I got was text messages on my phone that my prescription was ready. I entered my credit card information and they told me my prescription had shipped. A couple of days later, they said it was out for delivery. However, nothing arrived that day. The next day I checked, and they were trying to deliver the prescription to my old address in Austin! I don't even know how they had that old address! What is even going on here? read more

These people have no clue what they are doing. I am in Colorado and the Rx was sent to a Colorado pharmacy (Summit Pharmacy) around 5/5. I got called to pay for the Rx and I gave them a CC about a day later. We don't have the Rx yet so I called the Colorado pharmacy and they told me they are not a compounding pharmacy and that the Rx was sent to DFW Wellness in Texas. So I called them and they told me they had a question about on the ingredients. They charged my CC ahile back but no Rx. Blamed it on the doctor who they claim has not returned their call. Complete run around - so I cancelled the request and told them to refund my money at which time they were abrupt and said that they would. We'll see how that works out. No one at either Summit or DFW seemed to knows which end is up. read more

I received a prescription from Dr. Daneeque Woolfolk Dermatologist, sent to DFW Wellness Pharmacy which costs $50. It states QTY: 60 (which is 60 grams) and apply dime-sized amount at night; however, the expiration date is 01/01/24. 60 grams at a dime-sized amount lasts well over 60 days. It is absurd to be given a prescription for 60 days that expires after 30 days and be charged for 60 days. I will be pursuing this action until I get satisfied resolution. read more

DFW Wellness sent me an empty container which I discovered when my previous bottle ran out. However, the shelf life of the product was listed as 30 days even though the previous bottle stayed fresh and was effective for almost a year. Because it was more than 30 days from order that I tried to use the new bottle, they refused to replace it, even though the container was COMPLETELY EMPTY. I will let my doctor know not to recommend this pharmacy to her patients any longer. read more

Well, they did much better the second time around! I was contacted to get my refill and given a delivery date that was fulfilled. So far, so good. If you have a choice DO NOT use this pharmacy. I realize probably most of their business comes from doctor referrals, if so, ask your doctor for another pharmacy. My wife and I have had a bad experience with them. They took my wife's payment a week ago and said the RX would be sent the next day. She called this morning and they said yes we took the payment but the prescription was overlooked and not filled. I had a prescription called in and when I followed up they said my Medicare had been cancelled and they could not process my prescription. I doubled check my prescription plan and it is intact and I got another prescription filled the day before at another pharmacy. A poorly run operation. Stay away. read more

The girl put in a completely wrong address, which I didn't know she did. 5 min later I receive another call for my address, which I found unbelievably suspicious. This pharmacy is running some kind of scam and is in league with certain physicians, conning patients that the medication can't be filled at the patient's preferred pharmacy implying that the local community pharmacy can't or won't fill the medication which is run of the mill everyday generic topical antifungal. My elderly mom lives in Houston, and derm doc in Houston who is in league with this scam INSISTED that my mom could not have her local pharmacy fill the medication which is RIDICULOUS, and against the law, as patients have the right to have the medication filled wherever they choose. By filling it in DFW, it will be several days before she can get this medication, which could have been picked up within 24 hours at her corner CVS. REPREHENSIBLE, UNETHICAL, and probably ILLEGAL. LESS THAN ONE STAR... would give them a negative score if possible. read more

My dermatologist sent my prescription to be filled by DFW pharmacy. DFW then sends the prescription to Foothills Professional Pharmacy. Every time, the item is delivered to my mailbox and the prescription sits in the 100+ degree temperature for days until I happen to check the mail. I called to complain because other pharmacies that deliver my prescriptions let me know exactly when the item is sitting on my porch so that I can take it out of the heat or notify my neighbors to do so. The pharmacy saw nothing wrong with their procedure but I made them send me a new prescription since the one they sent was damaged. They argued with me before agreeing but I told them the prescription they had sent was damaged and had turned into clear water (it's supposed to be a cream). So they sent a new one but, again, failed to notify me it was sitting in my mailbox. At my next visit, I asked my dermatologist to please do not use DFW pharmacy and use Sands pharmacy instead. Sands pharmacy texts me the exact time the prescription has left the pharmacy and the exact time it has been delivered. A couple of times they even called to let me know my prescription was sitting outside my door. Excellent customer service!! If you have a dermatology prescription that must be filled by a specialty pharmacy, make sure it is not DFW Pharmacy. I would suggest Sands pharmacy. read more

I've used DFW Wellness twice now. My dermatologist utilizes them for all prescriptions. I've always received my medicine within 1 day, if not the same day. That totally beats having to wait in line at my normal pharmacy! I was recently prescribed a new cream for my face, and the one chosen was very expensive. I called my dr to have a generic one filled instead, and I called DFW Wellness to confirm the new Rx. The woman who answered could not have been sweeter or more helpful. I am so appreciative of these folks. My dermatologist office had forgot to call the pharmacy from the previous Wednesday for a compounded medication... Here it was Saturday and I was leaving for Santa Fe early on Monday without an important lupus medication. I was able to reach my doctor, who called it in 10 minutes before they closed. They mixed it up right away and it arrived in Santa Fe in 48 hours. AMAZING! It sounds like they have all the weird dermatology meds in stock, which is rare. My regular compounding pharmacy had never checked back when the office never called w the refill and I would have had to cancel my trip to wait for them mid day Monday. I asked for a refill a couple days before the expiration date to be filled. The messages me that they were going to work on it. 5 days later they said they had to contact my eye doctor to get another refill since mine had already expired. It was not expired when I contacted them. I told them just forget it because I was probably going to get another referral to from my PCP to go see eye doctor again. I had called before expiration date. But since they took their time yes then the refill had expired. I had 12 refills I'm only asking for one. Then I get a statement from my insurance saying they paid $600 for my refill on eye drops. What??? It was never refilled. So I called to find out why my insurance was billed when it was never refilled. They said they put it on hold. I said you need to refund my insurance and I'm going to call them to make sure they get their money back. They tell me oh so you don't want the refill after all? Um no! I don't want to do business with you anymore either. Refund my insurance now. So I called my insurance company. They paid and are now waiting for refund. Now my question is what if I hadn't looked at my insurance notice on the meds that had been paid? These people would have hootenanny paid for nothing because they never filled out the prescription. Be careful with this pharmacy. That's fraud I'll be calling my insurance everyday to make sure they get their money back. read more

I have been using DFW Pharmacy and most of their sister pharmacies for well over 10 years now. Like most of the reviewers, I was referred to them by my doctor/ dermatologist, and before that, had never heard of them. I have NEVER EVER had a bad experience with them. If there were ever any misunderstandings or mix-ups, they always corrected the issue, and did it free of charge to me. They are ALWAYS the cheapest, and delivery is always fast. I am surprised that there so many negative reviews. Trust me, I HATE bad customer service, especially when the business provides such an important service (providing medication). Never in life, would I ever tolerate such slackness from any business. DFW Wellness Pharmacy is not one of those companies. They are a reputable, and very good company. read more

I have had the worst experience ever with this Pharmacy. It has been over a week and I am still waiting my meds to be delivered. They printed out the wrg shipment address (that's what they say) not sure how that happened when my shipping/billing address was correctly displayed, they canceled my delivery. I had to call them back to have it re-shipped. That was 2 days ago. It's supposed to have been delivered today. I called today about my meds, now I am being told it will be delivered tomorrow. The employees that answers the phones has a terrible I don't care attitude; which is sad when you're in the medical industry. I need my meds and to be waiting over a week almost 2wks is ridiculous and to be treated with the I don't care attitude is not good customer services and then you had the nerves to ask me for a tip! I have had to deal with them 3 times because my dermatologist uses them. First time, never received the RX even after speaking with them (wait time was live 1 hour to speak to a live person). 2nd time I felt the RX was WAYYYYY overprices, about $150 more then I could get with Good RX without using insurance. 3rd time, RX called in again to this pharmacy because doctors office says they have best pricing... My dermatologist has sent several of my Rx here and I have no complaints. It usually takes a few days to get the prescription which, now that I see it is in a completely different state, is amazing. They provided a very new and thus, very expensive medication (over $1000, believe it or not) for a reasonable price (approximately $70). This was big deal because, of course, insurance won't pay for it. However, I will say that given other reviews, I will cross check the price in the future with my usual pharmacy. read more

My doctor called in a prescription that I previously got at my pharmacy but the doctor recommended DFW Pharmacy. Basically, DFW Pharmacy delivered the generic version of the drug not the brand in an 8 ounce bottle and charged me $75. My pharmacy gave me the brand name in a 16 ounce bottle for $75. So they are charging 2x as much as a normal pharmacy. When I called to ask them to take this back they refused. Be sure and ask them if you are getting brand or generic and what the size is. I am very upset about this and apparently there is no recourse. read more

The Rx I received is one I already have and one that never worked. When I called they kept agreed to credit me for the drug which I thought was the right thing to do. This pharmacy has a compound that my dermatologist wanted me to use. I was required to pay $45 and sign a confirmed delivery prior to the product ever being sent. Unfortunately, this all occurred while extremely ill and to stop them from calling I did as told. The FedEx deliverer threw the product on the bottom of the steps of my home without ringing the bell, knocking or any notice of delivery. Of course, the porch pirates stole it. Once I was able to get out of bed, I emailed them inquiring if it has been sent and was told it was and we don't do replacement for lost/stolen products. (I had them send proof of delivery through the driver pix who could take that but not ring the bell) Now they are calling attempting to get me to pay another $45 to get a refill. I would not do business with these folks unless I lived by them and did pickup myself. FedEx would give them credit and I'm sure they'll put in for it, but I have nothing but harassing calls and rude indignant people when you call back. That's if they answer as they like to hang up on you before even saying a word. I think they are unscrupulous and will never give them another dime under these types of customer relations that they think is acceptable. Definitely do not sign the slip they want you to sign PRIOR to receiving their product until you ACTUALLY get the product. read more

Twice I have used DFW Wellness and twice the prescription came DAYS after they said it would. This involved multiple calls (which all included being on hold several minutes) and no explanation other than "I don't know why it wasn't delivered." I am stuck with them because they have a contract with the manufacturer of my daughter's Rx, making it $60 instead of $900 (it's not covered on insurance). I guess I will have to order refills at least a week ahead of time to allow for their incompetence. read more
