The owner was very friendly and helpful. Quite refreshing from the big box stores to navigate through. They even have some discount bins that are alot of fun to sift through. I found a beautiful collared shirt for my husband that not only looks fantastic but is a comfortable fabric and wrinkle free. The store is well stocked but not overwhelming. You will love it too!

I got a 3/2 fullsuit for like 50 bucks. I didn't even need another one at the time, but how you gonna say no to that? I also love buying booties here, if you come at a time when they have your size the deals are phenomenal, I usually pay $60+ for booties full price but they'll have them here for 15 bucks sometimes but they go fast. The staff here is also super helpful, if you're new to wetsuits and need help with wetsuit sizing or anywhere else they're always happy to help. The fitting rooms are large and spacious as well, which if you've ever tried on a wetsuit before you know that you want a lot of space to move around. Besides wetsuits and surf gear they have both men and women's apparel along with accessories such as watches, hats, bags, etc. The store is well maintained and well kept, and parking is easy right behind the store. The only downside is that their stock is always constantly changing, so you never really know if they'll have your size of what you want. I've found great deals on apparel and misc accessories, but other times I'll come by and there's no sales and the prices aren't too different from what you'd find at a regular non outlet store or they won't have my size in anything I want. If you're passing through the area, it's definitely worth it to stop by to see what they have. If they don't, come back another time because they'll probably have new inventory.

They were extremely friendly and because I wasn't in dire need of the fork, I just left it assuming I'd hear back in a couple of weeks which seems to be the norm. I demo'd a firewire board last weekend at salt creek, and the van left with my drivers license before I could return the board. I had no way to contact them or anything, but I remembered that the Ripcurl store sometimes has that van there but I don't think they they had anything to do with the current demo event I was partaking in... Anyway so I called around asking what to do, and finally reached Matt, who went above and beyond by taking my number down, getting in contact with the guy driving the Firewire Demo van, and having him drop off my Drivers License at the Ripcurl store, and said I could come in anytime to return the board and take my DL. He literally saved me a massive headache and 3 hours of driving down to the Firewire store in San Diego (far from my home) to get my DL back from them had Matt not been the middle man and handled the issue swiftly. He has always been super nice and helpful when I'm in the store (just like all the employees) but he really went above and beyond this time and I'm extremely grateful!

The collection of surfboards (ranging from practically prehistoric, through one of Duke's, through those of contemporary champions) and art is awesome. We were lucky enough to just wander in on a day when SHACC's founder, Dick Metz, was onsite. Dick is an athletic guy in his 90s who knows or knew every pioneering surfer, ran the Hobie surf shop on Oahu, surfed in South Africa and told Bruce Brown about it, and collected vintage boards and photos (both his and others') along the way. Dick gave us a super tour, with backstories of the things we were looking at. Visit this place! It's in an industrial and office park and has its own parking lot. You'll be glad you stopped by. And for an extra helping of Dick Metz, search online for "Birth of the Endless Summer."

The Bird longboard, a Wild Bill mid length, and a Fartknocker SBD short board/groveler. Former Pro surfer Jeff Kramer went above and beyond figuring out the right boards for me at my age, level of physical fitness, and surfing skill ability. And, Eric the store owner, Jacob "Jack of all trades " were also extremely helpful. Jacob even helped me customize and install surfboard carrier racks on my e-Bike. Unbelievable!! 6.27.2025 The stoke continues!! I have now bought a total of 5 brand new boards from Stewart and love them so much! I've bought other popular trending brands of boards and they did not compare to Stewart. I sold them, ha ha, and bought these two new ones: The Bird 9'4 Longboard. Insane! Surfs and turns like a shortboard. So fun! Next step, learn to nose ride it. And not even officially released yet, the new Hydro Hull Fish. So sick!
