Pleasant Surprise! Driving through the Keller area and stumbled across this place. I was just hoping for a decent brunch but, my breakfast was exceptionally good! I was hangry, then I came here. The cuban sandwich was amazing. The tomatoes soup is thick (with two c's) and with a hint of sweetness (especially good when its cold). I wanted to try this place at the recommendation of a friend who received a dessert from this place. I can't even write a review of the food because of the lack of customer service I received at this place from the very beginning I couldn't stay. I walked in, there are no signs anywhere of how this worked, no host stand, no sign about walk up and order, etc. I was there to meet a friend who was taking me out for my birthday. I sat down at one of many open tables while looking at the menu. I was approached by a staff member who told me the table I sat at was reserved for someone else. I said, I'm sorry, I didn't see any indication of someone else choosing this specific table out of the many others available. I said I'm waiting for a friend to meet me, where am I supposed to wait? She proceeded to tell me I need to go sit in the corner at the entrance, guests aren't supposed to sit at a table until they've gone through the line to order their food. I replied with, well, that's not very nice and she told me it was their policy. When my friend arrived, I told her the situation I had encountered and she said, we don't have to eat here. So, we left and spent $$$ elsewhere. My recommendation to this family owned restaurant, post a sign somewhere indicating, "you may be seated after placing your order" or something similar so I and many others don't feel targeted due to my being an American born Asian. Unfortunately I had to give you at least one star in order to share my experience in this life we are currently living in 2021. read more

Was meeting some friends was not allowed to sit at table until they walked in - had to sit by door and it was 108 outside it was hot when they arrived and we ordered food and then was allowed to sit down! Food was ok staff was very unfriendly! Went again today to give it a 2nd chance - was going to sit down while my daughter placed order was stared at by staff and someone rudely walked over and told me you cant sit down while my daughter was ordering! Totally ridiculous if you can't handle it better than this you will not get my business! I have never had this happen at any restaurant I have been too. Do not recommend this place! read more

Went to have lunch today, the line wasn't moving so I went to sit down with my toddler. She's tired and didn't want to stand anymore. The line wasn't moving. So I took her to sit down, then a worker had the nerve to come and tell us we couldn't sit down unless we ordered. Her tone was rude and we just left. I didn't even want to eat there. I won't be back. Such a shame because we love the food and have never had issues with the service till today. But she was very unpleasant. read more

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this place. Everything I've ever gotten has been so good. The salads are huge and fresh, the Cuban and meatball sub are awesome and they make the best french fries around! The owners and staff and so nice and the deserts and HUGE and so yummy. Was there last night, and it was cold out so I was looking for something warm on the menu, but not too expensive. The meatball sub called out my name. The meatballs were fantastic. The sandwich came out warm, not hot and could have used twice as much sauce. My son had the turkey club sandwich and gave it two thumbs-up. One of the things I like about this place is the live music. Last night we were entertained by a 16-year old girl who played the keyboard and sang. She was pretty dang good. read more

Great Italian comfort food in a casual comfortable setting. The tomato bisque was superb!

The food and staff were great. Only complaints would be not being able to sit down and look at the menu before ordering (you order at the counter and it's a large menu). Also the seating, the booth is just a wood bench. All in all though it was a good experience! We'll be back! read more

First time here and it's a little smaller than I expected but it was inviting and a great experience. I had the Balsamic Chicken and my wife had the Chipotle Gouda & Bacon Mac n Cheese. Both were fantastic! Quite possibly the best piece of chicken I have ever had! It had a delicious flavor from the balsamic and was very moist and perfectly cooked. Too many times I have had tough and dry chicken - this was neither! My wife doesn't usually order mac n cheese but she is more adventurous than me. She practically ate the entire large bowl! It was very flavorful and rich! For dessert she had the Italian Cream Cake and I had the German Chocolate Cake. Both were fantastic! And we got 2 Italian Wedding Cookies to go! The staff were very warm and friendly and several members checked in on us regularly. I would highly recommend this establishment and we intend on frequenting it again soon! read more

What a gem! This place is so unexpected for a neighborhood restaurant. The food is amazing. I've been here 3x and have ordered different items each time. Nothing has disappointed. This is my first visit for dinner. I saw the Diablo Pasta at another table and immediately ordered "that dish". And let me tell you it's as good as it looks! The sausage is spicier than I normally can handle but I enjoyed it none-the-less. The ambiance of the establishment is ultra hip and modern. We enjoyed an acoustic singer while we are which I enjoyed. There is plenty of seating as the previous reviews state. A nice outdoor patio (on a sidewalk) but still quaint. And don't forget to check out the desserts- WOW! Pictured is the carrot cake with apricot and pineapple. Listen- it's not your average of the mill place. Dropping a star. Couple of recent issues causing this. I hate that because something is changing and it needs to be fixed. Lately it's been hit or miss. Recently got a lunch portion of salmon. I don't expect it to be large but it was a 2"x2" piece of salmon that was very over cooked. Barely 2 bites. Same meal we had shrimp pasta but the pesto was so separated and oily that it wasn't good. Yesterday we had half a tuna sandwich and a salad. There was sooo much liquid from tuna salad that the bread that was on the container side was absolute mush. Like mashed potatoes mush. Just the quality control is lacking. Never had this problem and the bread is toasted. I've ordered juicy hamburgers on toast and not had soggy issues so this is definitely just making sure you are draining the tuna liquids before slipping it on the bread. There have been a few instances of to go orders just not living up to be close as good as the food you eat in person. It's almost as if "it's to go so they won't send it back" mentality. Don't do it. Don't go there. Bring back our quality and our portions. We live 3 minutes from there and love this place. Ok I'm done with my Karen act. While waiting in line to order and pay for food I noticed that there were several people not wearing masks. Even the mangers owners and some in the kitchen. When I asked the young lady said employees were given choice to wear or not. If you are in a good service business you should be using safety precautions by staff at the very least. This is still a pandemic! Their food is good but not worth risking my life over. I will never go back. I am so sorry that things have been difficult for you and your family this year, they have been for me and mine as well. Although I am aware that the governor has repealed the mask mandate do you not think that certain safety measures are warranted in a food service business ie masks, gloves, etc. cleaning. And no I am not afraid to go out as I go to work every weekday and wear a mask while there. I wear a mask to protect not only myself but others around me as well. It is a simple measure I can take to help in this troubling and difficult time for all of us. I am sorry that you felt the need to answer my review in the way you did. Ate here today with my dad and some friends. Second visit (had visited quite some time ago and it had been super chaotic and noisy. This time was better but got too noisy again after awhile when it seemed the "background" music volume increased considerably. My dad, who is hard of hearing, had great difficulty hearing the conversation and was nearly yelling when he talked. I didn't get feedback on the food from the others. I had a half Stella sandwich and kale salad. The salad was pretty good; the sandwich was so-so. The chicken in the sandwich was a bit dry, it had too much cheese (Need to have sandwich balance), and there was hardly any arugula salad in it. I got everyone a "sweet" and my dad, who usually likes brownies, said his was dry. (He did say he liked his Turkey Club sandwich and chips...kinda hard to mess that up) Our friends seemed to like their chocolate chip cookie and "Brookie." Also, there were absolutely no visible safety measures in place for the ongoing pandemic. We sat at a table initially away from other people but which was less than 12 inches from an adjacent table, only separated by a waist high room divider. As the place got busier two women sat at that table and I could have put my hand on one of their shoulders without fully extending my arm. Needless to say, we will not go back. read more

So try what you enjoy and you will be delighted. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. We go all the time, but make sure you check your order on carry out. Today I ordered the cheeseburger medium. It was cooked past well done and they forgot the lettuce, tomato and onions. This is one of my go-to places to meet people for lunch. I'm a huge pasta gal and have gotten lots of things from Chicken Parm to Alfredo, and they are all great. Pick your own table, go up to the register when ready to order, and they will bring the food to you. Employees are always hovering around asking how the food is and if you want a refill. They also have a huge selection of cakes that I have never tried, but that my favorite teacher from high school (who I meet there every once in a while to catch up) swears by, so I assume they're fantastic. Tonight my best friend and I tried this new restaurant. We started out with the stuff mushrooms and it was amazing the best sauce on any type of mushrooms I've have ever had. We then shared eggplant Parmesan and they were so awesome on splitting the dish for us so we wouldn't have to do it and get a separate plate which I thought was really cool. This is a BYOB so if you wanna bring your own wine you're more welcome to do it which we didn't know ahead of time but will use next time. Everything was delicious all the way down to the desserts.. I was blown away by this place. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed. The food here tastes delicious and so fresh. The potato cakes are simply outstanding. I was hesitant about ordering a Reuben at a restaurant that serves Italian food, but they nailed it. As good and delicious as the food is here, there's something else more outstanding at this restaurant. It's the staff. This might be one of the best run restaurants I've been to in a long while. The staff is constantly checking in you, asking if you need a refill. By the way, this is a get it yourself beverage place. They ask how everything is. They ask if you need anything else and they do it with a genuine smile. The entire staff from the cashier to the kitchen all work together. I was overly impressed by the way this place is run. And to make things even better, when I walked in, there was a guitar player singing that song made famous by Kermit the Frog, Rainbow Connection. This place is 10 stars on service alone. read more
