I've eaten here many times and have loved every meal, the food is great! However, because it's so good it does get crowded. Today I was so disappointed when a group of four had to wait for our order to be turned in because there were no seats available and they didn't want us to get cold food because of no place to sit. Typically the tables turn pretty fast and it's not a problem. The issue was a women sitting at a table for four (no food, just computer) tying up the table and we were told she comes in everyday and stays for several hours. We asked if maybe they could ask her to move to a table for two, to no avail. I think if this is an everyday occurrence, as we were told, she should be directed to a table for two everyday. It's their business and they can do what they want but knowing I had to wait an extra amount of time doesn't want to make me go back. read more

I know this place gets rave reviews but I've been twice and wasn't impressed either time. First time my chicken was incredibly dry even my husband said that was driest chicken he had ever tasted, however he loved his meal. Second time went with some friends and ordered the chopped salad and a cookie, the salad was not chopped in any sort the lettuce was large chunks and not what I was expecting or wanting and the cookie was hard. This was my first time coming here, the setting is nice, and the line to order was not too long on a Saturday actually. The food was good, the only complaint I have was the fact the only things I had that came out right were the dessert and the calamari. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and was instead served eggplant Parmesan, I didn't complain because the place got busy and I didn't want to have to wait in line again, and I had them throw away my receipt at the register. The food tasted delicious and my fiancees to-go order of chicken fried chicken was amazing exceptional. I will probably try it again to see if I can get better service. We live in The Colony but had the need to go to the Keller area yesterday. When we go to areas we do not go to often, we like to find restaurants we have never been to. We found this new gem and will be back. We started with the Salami and Cheese plate, and while it sounds simplistic, it was awesome. The Olive Tapenade is not only incredibly packet with flavor, but is unique to anything you are going to get anywhere else. We had 4 entrees in my party, since I am a food junky I tasted them all. I will start with what I think may be their signature sandwich, The Stella. I am not a healthy eater and do not care for grilled chicken, I typically find it bland and boring. NOT THE STELLA, it is a grilled chicken sandwich full of flavor, the grilled red bell pepper and very flavorful sauce made this grilled chicken sandwich appeal to an unhealthy eater like me. We also had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have ever tasted in my life. My wife had the meatloaf, and I know what you are thinking MEATLOAF, who goes out for meatloaf. Well my wife does, my wife btw is a very finicky eater, she loved it and I of course tasted it and have to admit, I cannot remember eating a better meatloaf in my life. I for some reason was craving meatballs and spaghetti, while they had a meat ball sub on the menu they did not have meatballs and spaghetti, I made joke about that and they made me meatballs and spaghetti. It incredible, they need to put that on the menu!!!! To top it all off we took home the White Chocolate Cheesecake, my wife is an excellent baker but does not really care of cheesecake but loved it and I who loves cheesecake, loved it. My wife is now scouring the internet trying to find a recipe in the hopes to recreate this delightful dessert. We will be back, heck we may even make the 45 min one way drive just to eat there. If you are reading this, you are most likely considering eating there, I will make it easy, Your only regret will be if you do not check this place out. read more

This is an amazing little place in Keller which lives up to their name -- RUSTIC COMFORT FOOD. If my husband and I are eating out we will choose this restaurant 3 out of 4 times. We've tried a wide variety of their menu items and we've never been disappointed. The wait staff are friendly and service was fast. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! We just went for our first visit on Sunday morning, and will definitely be going back to try the dinner menu. All of the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. The best part, obviously, was the food. Really good stuff! Our little boys split a meatball sub. The meatballs were delicious and fresh tasting. I had the chicken salad sandwich, my husband had the chicken parm sandwich - also both delicious. This place is nothing short of fantastic. Great pasta dishes, great brunch items, and more. I highly recommend the chicken fried chicken, the Pasta Diablo, and the blueberry pancakes. The cream sausage gravy used to top breakfast biscuits and mashed potatoes is flat out the best gravy I've ever had. I've only been for dinner once, but this is a new favorite weekend breakfast place for us. Well-edited menu with some classic dishes as well as creative Italian spins on breakfast. And the coffee? It's amazing - dark Italian roast and easily one of the top cups I've had in the metroplex. I also love their setup: order at the counter, find a table and then your food is delivered a short time later. Unlike other fast-casual places, their staff actually comes by to check on you, refill drinks, clear plates, etc. The space is open and airy and has a nice vibe. read more
