Just had the worst meal in years- undercooked mahi mahi slathered with cooked tomatoes floating in vinegar pretending to be bruschetta. The mashed potatoes were quite good. Of the remaining 4 of us, one had salad with wilted lettuce, another reluctantly ate spaghetti with meatballs of a strange texture ( he was really hungry) and the two pasta dishes with chicken were fine according to 15 year old boy tastes. Open and scenic atmosphere, with great music. The window walls let in a bunch of natural light. We went in during a slower time of day but there was still several tables enjoying themselves. The menu is large, offers a bunch of comfort food. I got the eggplant Parmesan and my friend got chicken Parmesan. Very tasty and flavorful! Man this place is awesome!! Great diner style food, the meatloaf, spaghetti, rueben sandwich, chicken and waffles all rock. Tons of huge freshly made deserts too. We have been here often for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even sunday brunch. Great breakfast items too, and usually live music on weekend evenings. Just no. The system is bad. Slow, overpriced, bad service, and the food is mediocre. The prices are $10 and up for simple things - where you order like you're at a fast food restaurant, sit at a table with paper covering like at macaroni grill, and are served by people that look like they should be at a BBQ joint. What an unexpected culinary treasure. The order-at-the-counter, get-your-table-when-you-have-a-number system works very well. Even when the line to order is nearly out the door, and the place is packed, somehow, by the time you're ready to sit down, a table is ready. For dinner, we had Steak Diane and Plum Glazed Pork Tenderloin. Both were very tasty. The pork was cooked slightly more than I would have liked, but the glaze was delicious. For breakfast two days later, I had the blueberry omelette. While the flavor combination was good, there was nothing to keep the ingredients together, so it was more like sausage, peppers, onions & blueberries wrapped in an egg blanket. Probably wouldn't get it again. Still, the flavor combinations here are unique and delicious. After waiting in line a long time to order we arrive to our appointed table. The paper table cloth they put on the table was placed over old food.
