I got off of work a little earlier and came to Devine Wine Lounge to "wine down"...no pun intended lol! We came for Happy Hour but we didn't get a Happy Hour Menu, just the regular menu and also limited food menu due to a Pre Fixe Dinner Menu that was running tonight. I'd love to try the Happy Hour next time! My friend and I ordered the Flights of the month which include 4 samples for $25. Definitely worth it if you're a first timer. Ours was Bubbles and Big Reds! I loved the Ostro from Italy with apple notes and my friend loved the Michael David from California with Blackberry and Vanilla notes. We shared the Mixed Charcuterie which really was the best of both worlds, meat and cheese wise! There was an assortment of cubed cheese, Brie and another Whipped Cheese on the side, some Marcona almonds (that's definitely a favorite now! It tastes like cashews and are more round) that was soaked in Olive oil, Fig Jam, Honey, Grapes, Cornichons (the cutest pickles), Olive Tapenade, Olives, Prosciutto, Salami, Dried Apricot, Side of Ciabatta bread and some Rosemary Crackers! We could've shared Half of a Charcuterie board for the 2 of us. This full board can feed 3-5 people unless you're super hungry. My friend enjoyed the Lady and the Scamp more than me. I love mustard but the Dijon aioli was a bit too strong for me. Ambiance is wonderful especially after a long work week! Great to treat yourself once in awhile. I brought a sweater but it wasn't cold so it was nice to enjoy our time catching up with each other on a comfy velvet couch in the corner in a warm atmosphere. read more

I was attending the Burlesque Olympics at the Pro Arts Playhouse next door and popped in for a quick drinkie during intermission, along with half the audience ;) The gals at the bar worked hard to make sure everyone had a drink in time and they were so friendly and fast I was immediately impressed. My Chardy was cool and refreshing and competitively priced for a decent sized glass. Cocktails and mocktails were hand made from scratch and looked and smelled amazing. Looking around at the delicious artisanal charcuterie boards folks were indulging in made me want to come back, and after looking at the wine lounge website I realized Thursday date night for a board n 2 glasses for $55 is the perfect time. Or maybe for their bingo, or happy hour? Maybe all 3...lol. If I lived on Maui this would be my go to spot for an evening out with friends, date night, or just a relaxing afternoon with a glass of wine and a book. My visit to Devine was with two friends I know who live on Maui and we signed up for a cheese, chocolate, and wine pairing event. The entire experience was spectacular, with a range of tastes to pair with each other and friendly knowledgeable hosts. I regular food and wine list provided well curated ample options for any palate preference. One of my favored from the tasting is their house white blend from France. It's light and refreshing but still carries enough complexity to make it interesting. We don't go to Devine Wine Lounge often, but it's always a great treat when we do! The Moscato d'Asti is a must, definitely get the bottle. I'd like to give this more than five stars if possible! We will definitely be back and we have told 1 million people about this place. It is a wonderful spot to relax and have a mature glass of wine and bite to snack on. The prices are so reasonable And their house red wine is absolutely spectacular. The ladies that work there are so friendly and entertaining - the entire spot is very welcoming and I love the purple and green/teal decor. Now this isn't on the water, and having a beautiful view would definitely add... But add to the prices unfortunately I'll take the no view with better pricing! 100% recommend you check this little gem out. A lovely chill ambiance to meet with my lady friends for happy hour deals and actually able to have a conversation without yelling over loud music or too many people. The geode looking side tables and purple velvet seats make it a sexy chill vibe. The staff are the sweetest people. The prices are right for what you get. Well worth it all. Would also make a great date night. But my favorite is being able to hang with friends and be comfortable with the seating they provide. The charcuterie boards have more than what you pay for imo. All I can say is wow! This super special spot is a must visit when you are on Maui. A neighborhoody vibe with high class accents is how we felt walking in. The warm welcome from Candice the owner was refreshing and genuine. You can either relax on cozy fashionable lounges or pony up to the bar or high top tables. The wine selection is incredibly special and curated with a little bit of everything. Cocktails are unique and classic at the same time, I love the giant ice cubes! Now let's talk about the menu, we were not expecting it to be this good! Kudos to the chef! The offerings are focused and quaint, but packed with flavorful options. Everything from charcuterie and cheese to this very tasty Gnudi (a cheese style gnocchi) was delicious! We also had the nights special of whipped feta with honey and a mouthwatering shrimp toast. Do not pass on the dessert! The cake reminded me of my childhood but not overly sweet. The popping coffee pearls were a delight as they topped a Vietnamese coffee foam. The home made chocolate truffles were so fun too. All in all, this will be our regular hang out spot. We can have girls night or bring out of town guests to show off this welcomed spot in Kihei. We had seen Devine Wine Lounge and had been meaning to try it out. We were not disappointed! Service was very attentive and helpful allowing us to sample, a few wines we were interested in. We ordered the bread along with two butters...lilikoi and the truffle. What a lovely treat! Bread was warm and the butters were creamy and flavorful. We also ordered the meat/cheese charcuterie board and wow we were so pleased with selection. Very unique choices and plenty of each. deVine has become my favorite spot to wind down after work! I run the nonprofit theater around the corner, and deVine has been so supportive of our mission. And it's a great spot for our audiences to pop by for a drink or pupu before and after the show, or even during the intermission! Candice and her team are attentive and lovely people, and they've worked hard to make the space welcoming and fun. An Instagram ad popped up yesterday for a new wine bar in town. Great job social media/marketing team! Comfortable couch to sit on, but if someone sits at a high top with a dress on, the couch people can see everything. lol. I was a bit disappointed in the wine selection. They have a very limited offering of wine by the glass (counter 16 in total). I loveeee Cabernet's and there was only ONE glass option. Otherwise it was a bottle for over $100 and another bottle over $400. I didn't get to try the food, but heard from a friend that the Charcuterie board was really good and a reasonable price for what you got. The ambiance was nice. Music matched the vibe, just not sure why a movie was playing in the corner. I hope to see additional wines being offered in the future. Otherwise not sure if I'd go back. My friend and I went there for Happy Hour about 4 pm several weeks ago now when we opened the door an older lady asked if we had reservations. It looked like there was a tasting going on but who knows? We said no , that we did have reservations and she curtly said Next Time and ushered us to leave!! Of which there will never be one .
