Upon arriving at my new location, one backed up the truck while the other two didn't bother spotting him - the driver backed into my brick pillar breaking bricks and the light. They literally brought out some sort of epoxy and said they could fix it! I called the police who wrote up a crash report. I accepted the company's offer to take money off the cost of the move because I had no confidence that their insurance company would promptly pay - I feared I wouldn't end up with anything but a lot more frustration. 3. At the end of the move, I realized they had forgotten to move an elliptical machine that was in the basement - when I brought it to their attention, they said nothing and just left. 4. At my old house they left the garage doors open and lights on - my wife didn't want to have to drive back to the house but was worried they might have done something like this - totally irresponsible! 5. Without asking my permission, they borrowed my hand dolly. After they left, I found it in the backyard with a wheel broken off. (I sent the company a picture of it.) This is absolutely not acceptable. 6. They left packing material all over the house - when I asked about them taking it with them they said that isn't something they do. 7. They did not remove their shoes or put on "booties" even though it was raining out and caused significant scuff marks on my hard wood floor - which I also took a picture of. On June 23rd, I wrote an email to the customer service agent and a manager with whom I had been speaking. No reply. I followed-up with another email on June 24th and received a phone call saying that they would address my issues by the following day. It has now been over a month and I still have heard nothing. All of this is beyond outrageous! As a small business owner, I completely understand when "stuff happens" but when it does you do everything you can to "make it right" - not ignore the customer! Then several minutes later came back and knocked on my door again. They asked to video tape the contents of my house. I let them. This is after we already determined they were unable to do the move. Then they left again. About an hour later, my doorbell starts going off like it's an emergency. It was animal control. The officer said they just got a complaint from the moving company that I was endangering animals. He said there was a complaint of feces and urine all over the floors throughout my house and animals running all throughout the house. He said he knew that the movers called out of spite, but had to process the complaint anyway. Like a good "order follower". I told them to get a warrant. The authorities showed up at my home with multiple police officers all geared-out to "handle" what they officer admitted was a false report of animal endangerment. Remember, these movers took video. If this company has video that shows feces and urine "all over the floors" and animal endangerment, they would post it. These movers could've come back with a 26 ft truck and 3 guys like I contracted for but instead weaponized the authorities to harass and intimidate me. Now instead of moving to my new home ahead of 4th of July weekend I'm in limbo. I had to locate other movers on the spot and then deal with the authorities in NJ due to their lies.
