The sink we liked would have to be special ordered and would not arrive in time for our project. Brian (I hope I remember his name correctly) was very helpful in that he located the same sink at another business where we would get it in time. We purchased the other items here and then went to their competitor to get the sink. We very much appreciate the effort he took to help us get what we needed and highly recommend their superb customer service.

Totally on board. Except when you feel like you are paying a penalty in both time and finances by going that route. 2012 was the year we decided to upgrade multiple kitchen and bath fixtures in our house. There are several specialty shops in Portland with a wide range of items beyond what you can find at Lowe's and Home Depot, but I wanted to stick a little closer to home. I was very excited to find this showroom just blocks from I-5 and the store itself is lovely. I've never been an internet shopper and while I research the bejesus out of retail items [1], the actual purchase of anything significant only comes after the all important sniff test. Or in this case, the touch and see test. Especially when you are looking at various finishes, you really need to see these items in person. A good friend, who recently went through a kitchen and bath remodel, recommended ordering through an online site. But, I decided to be a good little local consumer and ordered roughly ten items over the course of six months here. And while some of the in person experiences were swell, the overall experience was not. First of all, they seem woefully out of date regarding communication. Any retail business not taking full advantage of the web in this day and age is really missing the boat. They do have a website, and it turns out there are eleven locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, but it is minimal at best. There is one link to an employee's email, but we had a series of miscommunications by email, phone and in person. Several employees work at the store, but rather than deal with just one person we had multiple contacts. Because we didn't have a simple order (multiple items, some were on back order, etc.), it never seemed like the person we talked to knew what was going on. And when I compared the price I paid to the on-line site, theirs wasn't as good. So throwing a few extra dollars their way ended up feeling like a really bad idea based on the poor customer service. By the end of the project, I was ordering from the other on-line website. A few clicks of the mouse and items would magically appear on my doorstep. Go figure! Because I will always feel the need to see before I buy, I'll still stop by here. But actually buy something from here... nope. [1] It took me roughly 18 mo. and two dozen test drives to select my latest car.

Then I moved to the art section where the man who I believe must of been the manager was lingering. I then moved to the blanket/throw section, I left my cart at the end of the row, to which a different employee moved my cart out into the aisle and left it. I shopped some more and encountered more employees. At check out the cashier stopped once she was almost done and told me that she needed to rescan my entire transaction. She then did not hand me my receipt at the end to which I had to take it. She then proceeded to shout all the way to the end of the checkout row to where she was. At the end of the checkout stand, as I went towards the door, two employees were blocking the exit. They were having a discussion with one of their friends at the exit. This is the most uncomfortable shopping experience I have had at a store. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and that due to the employees, I was unable to shop peacefully. They were highly unprof

Filled with every imaginable item - small appliances, bakeware, dishes, wine glasses, kitchen tools, pitchers, vases, thermometers, muffin, tart and cake pans and so much more! Typically I shop at NE location but when I'm in the area, I stop in the Beaverton store. It has a large rectangular footprint making it super easy to navigate and find what you need or browse to discover items that you must have! The store is usually well stocked but due to pandemic, the inventory is on the sparse side. They had a large table and corner area with a 50% off sale going on. I'll be back in a few weeks as I'm hoping their summer outdoor dinnerware will go on sale. The light weight, colorful Melamine plates are perfect for outdoor dining. The last time I visited, the service was so slow. Unbearably slow. The woman wrapping my two dishes took painfully long. It was also the very first time I entered and was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Typically this doesn't bother me but this day I was in a hurry, did have a particular item I came to buy, but couldn't find assistance. There were several people working and were engaged in their own conversation. slow! One experience doesn't define a store so I'll be back when in the area. I love to cook, bake and entertain so Kitchen Kaboodle speaks to me.

This wasn't a pre-fab or generic solution, it feels custom and well thought out. The installation was clean and professional. Posts are perfectly set, the structure is solid, and the attention to detail really shows. Everything feels sturdy, intentional, and built to last. This pergola completely transformed our outdoor space and turned an unused area into a functional and inviting gathering spot. Communication was easy throughout the project, and it's clear Martin takes pride in his work. Highly recommend TGR and would absolutely use them again for future projects.

This is a mixed review since there is good and bad to mention. I contracted with this company to…read morereplace my siding and double decks. This wasn't the lowest priced bid, yet it also wasn't the outrageously high quotes I received from other companies. I was very excited to finally get this work done. At the same time I was working with TGR, I was also contracted with a roofing company, a painter, and a gate company. In the end, the only company I had problems with was TGR Construction Co. There are things I wasn't prepared for in this process, such as my pictures falling off the walls during the siding tear off or the cracks in the ceiling and walls created with the tear off, of which they tried to tell me all these NEW cracks (I live in this home) are due to normal settling of my home and said all houses settle with time and this is normal and not due to the siding job. I know it's not a coincidence these new and sudden 'settling' cracks appeared with the siding work. They broke through the ceiling upstairs and they did own up to this, maybe because it's hard to justify 'normal' settling with sudden stucco all over the floor. There were structural issues that arose during the project, at nobody's fault, that ended up costing me $11K more than my contract. Then I was also charged $4900 more to remove windows and have them reset. Btw, three other companies included the window removal and reset in their contract. It was considered standard for other companies. After the siding and decks were done, I was left with HVAC refrigerant lines on the ground and blocking doors and windows for my tenants, wires dangling under the deck staircase, the Radon remediation system wasn't reattached correctly and sparked scaring a HVAC technician and me, a deck rail was reset too low, refrigerant line covers were accidentally thrown out, and my daughter and I each did double sweeps for nails left behind when work was done. It took almost two months of asking for them to resolve these unresolved issues before some things were finally done. Jan 20th, three months after the crew left, I finally had the last unresolved issue handled. As a consumer, when I contract with a company, I expect to have the job done right without unnecessary stress. That did not happen here. On the POSITIVE, the crew is hardworking and really nice guys. The siding and double decks look great now. My home underwent a metamorphosis and is now beautiful and I receive compliments. I had crappy, rotting decks replaced with sturdy decks. This is the only reason I give a 2 rating instead of lower. All the mishaps, repair delays, and stood up appointments made this extremely frustrating and stressful. Could I have achieved my desired results without the frustration? I'm sure I could have with a different company. Buyer beware! Educate yourself on all steps that need to be in your contract. Make sure the removal of your windows for proper flashing is in the contract. I know A LOT of people and all my other contractors received more jobs through my recommendations. I know currently four people who are looking for a recommendation for siding, yet I can't recommend TGR Construction.

I've gotten a TON of items there, and I've always loved to browse their shops, too, getting inspiration for cooking and dining decor and more. My daughter and I stumbled across this shop in the mall, as our eyes were caught by the most gorgeous display of deep red trays and dinnerware with dragons, celebrating the Year of the Dragon for the Chinese New Year. As with all their products, the prices were super steep but, boy, are their pieces stunning. Just stunning. As with all WS stores, this one carries all the usual kitchen gadgets, cooking and baking tools and foodstuffs, dining service ware and accessories, seasonal giftware, hand soaps and lotions, and gourmet ingredients. And the store lay-out is the same as the others, with their central counter and cash, sale and seasonal stuff in the back, appliances at the front, etc. Perhaps my memory is foggy, but I remember the after-holiday sales at WS being fantastic. (I used to get a lot of seasonal items for a steal after the bigger holidays). But when I checked out the sale on Christmas items in the back, I was a bit disappointed; the sale prices weren't great, and the selection was somewhat meager. (And not even one Hanukkah item, too. Strange). But, admittedly, again, my memory may be playing tricks with me on this. I will add that no-one greeted my daughter or me while we visited the store and, in fact, two women employees on two separate occasions during our visit were rather brusque as they passed me, moving or stocking various items, bringing them to the back. They made me feel as though I was in their way, when I was simply browsing the wall of kitchen tools and, later, the beautiful olive oils. We didn't exactly get the warm, fuzzy feeling of being welcomed in the store. (Perhaps we just caught the staff at a particular stocking time or something. I don't know). My kid and I didn't purchase anything during our visit, but we sure did appreciate the gorgeous plates and table linens and specialty foods and spices. This'd be a great place to get a hostess gift, or for a foodie friend. (They used to have samples of specialty foods and beverages at WS. Not sure if they do this anymore). Just don't expect to be embraced by the staff here; from what I gather, from other reviews, it's hit or miss, what type of reception you'll receive. But the product line is top-notch, there's no denying that.
