They meet you were you are, and are very big on ensuring that your form is correct, which is not always common in CF gyms (but so very important to prevent injuries!). On top of being great coaches, they are just awesome people, and there really is a big sense of community and camaraderie amongst the members and coaches alike. It is very diverse with people of all ages, levels and backgrounds. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to start out, or people looking to get back in it, or anyone looking for a good challenge. Every time a weight hit the floor I would get an evil stare and then eventually got reprimanded. It's gym not a museum right lol? And no I wasn't throwing weights around being disrespectful. I was down in Florida in July 2025 for 2 1/2 weeks and wanted to try this place because it was new. So I bought a one month membership for myself and my wife and then asked to freeze the account until we come back down to Florida since we live in New Jersey. We did everything through a gentlemen named Mac who understood our situation that we wouldn't be coming back down until the next year. I got billed the next month accidentally and he refunded me and apologized. At that time I asked him to take my card off file. Fast forward to January and I've been getting billed the last 3 months after several phone calls with the owner and emails sent without a response. Today was the last straw as I called AGAIN to have my card removed and to be refunded. I mentioned that I'm going to have my bank reverse the charges and he started calling me a jack ass and saying why don't I come and say this to his face because he felt "threatened" and will sue me if I do it. I can't say enough awful things about the people here except for Mac who actually doesn't even work there anymore probably because he was nice. The fact that I asked several times for the card to be taken off file and it hasn't been is severely alarming. Anyone that is traveling and thinking about Joining beware. They told me something completely different than what the contract said. Stupid me for taking their word for it and not reviewing the contract. Not keeping your word says a lot about a business. The gym is beautiful though.

After my personal training agreement ended, I continued to be charged for training services that should have stopped. From December 2025 through February 2026, I contacted the gym multiple times to report the billing errors. Each time I was assured that I would receive a refund and that the issue would be corrected, but the charges continued. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager, yet I was consistently told they were unavailable or too busy. Despite nearly three months of trying to resolve the issue directly, I never received meaningful communication or a resolution from management. Ultimately, I had no choice but to dispute the unauthorized charges with my bank and obtain a new debit card to stop the recurring withdrawals. The way this situation was handled completely eroded my trust in the business and prevented me from continuing my relationship with the gym. To make matters worse, Amped Fitness is now attempting to collect money that I do not believe I owe, despite the billing errors and my documented efforts to resolve the issue.

I trusted that it had been handled. However, I was just charged for ANOTHER month because apparently my membership was never actually cancelled. This is incredibly frustrating. I did my part by contacting the studio and requesting the cancellation, and I was specifically told it would be taken care of. Now I have to deal with another charge and spend more of my time trying to fix something that I was already told had been resolved. If you cancel your membership here, I strongly recommend getting written confirmation and checking your account afterward. Unfortunately, being told that it will be taken care of was clearly not enough in my case.

The instructor, as always, was really kind and did a great job making sure everyone understood the movements. She explained not only how to do certain moves, but also what they help with, like posture, digestion, and overall body awareness, which I really appreciated. Really cares about you and your workout and wants to make sure that you're not only enjoy it, but feel like you're getting what you want out of your workout. She does have a more strength training style on the reformer, which I do enjoy I have seen muscle growth and strength build, but does use some classical Pilates techniques, of course.
