For the price (still one of the cheapest national chains with month-to-month options), you get a ridiculous amount of locations, decent equipment variety, a pool, basketball courts, and free group classes. If you just want to show up, lift, do some cardio, maybe swim or shoot hoops, and leave, it does the job better than most places in this price range. Off-peak hours can actually feel halfway decent plenty of machines, shorter waits, and the vibe is tolerable. Now the part literally everyone complains about (because it's true): Cleanliness is a coin flip. Some days it's fine, other days the locker room smells like regret and the equipment is sticky. Stuff breaks and stays broken forever saunas, hot tubs, half the cable machines, you name it. Towel service? Good luck. Bring your own or prepare to air-dry. Staff ranges from genuinely cool humans to people who act like you're bothering them by existing. Canceling or fixing billing issues? People write horror stories that could be Netflix documentaries. Read the contract twice and screenshot everything. Bottom line: If your expectations are "affordable big-box gym with tons of locations and I'm not a neat freak," you'll be perfectly happy and probably give it 4 stars. If you want spotless, high-end, white-glove service, you're shopping in the wrong aisle go pay triple for Equinox or Lifetime. For the money, it's still a solid 3 stars. Wipe down your own stuff, go at weird hours, and you'll survive just fine. Millions of us do.

The Pompano Beach location was relatively close to where I was staying, so I hit that gym up. WOW!! I've been in a number of Anytime gyms (and they're all fairly good) but this was by far the best equipped and absolutely immaculate facility I've seen! I worked out fairly frequently in the early PM and there were only three or four other members in this large facility, even on weekends, which was a very pleasant surprise given the current Covid-19 Variant situation. Although I didn't use a trainer, it appears this Anytime Fitness has a very comprehensive training program available with numerous stations and tons of equipment to personalize your workout. If I relocate to the Ft. Lauderdale area, this will definitely be my permanent gym!

The place is rather quiet, seems to have an average of 45+ and in adherence to its purpose each follows a program designed specifically for them and for the purpose of their physical fitness. Indeed those going here all seem to have had a high level of achievement through the implementation of specific achievement plans and proper supervision toward that end. The difference between a gym and a fitness center couldn't show itself more or be more pronounced. A small fitness studio inside a house in FTL!…read more You read that right, a house! I came here to workout with my cousin as a different type of hangout. Rather than getting lunch or coffee, we chose to workout together. It's a great way to even out all the restaurants I want to try! She bought a class pass ($99 for 5 classes) here so I opted to buy one class ($10) to hangout with her. When driving here, you actually park at the Red Lobster right next to it. Once you park, you enter through a gate and The Office 954 is right there! The classes range from burning your accessory muscles (ouch) to boxing cardio to flow with yoga. We did the burn class which is by far the most painful class I have ever taken; a good burn that is. The instructor keeps you motivated and each class is limited to maybe 12 people (?) max as this studio is extremely small with just one room. This intimate workout is amazing for locals who really want that small class, personal trainer experience. I had the pleasure to workout with Jamie, the owner, as the instructor for our class. After our intense workout, she was extremely welcoming and told us a little more about her studio, how it came to be, and the things she has available within the studio. She told me she was going to start a collection of wellness books that clients can check out for $5 to borrow, read, and return. This gym is very different than many traditional gyms and gives that welcoming, personal trainer feeling. It's a breath of fresh air. If I lived closer and could afford this studio, I would definitely be back!
