The gym offers both free weights and machines for practically every body part. The members range from bodybuilders to senior citizens. Yet, unlike chains, University Fitness is not a "seen and be seen" place; so, no dropping weights on the floor with a loud bang followed by making sounds to get noticed. This is not a "pick up" joint! Members go there to workout. Personally, I like the fact that there are no contracts, no deposits, etc. -month-to-month. Membership Cancellation Scam When I went to cancel, I signed the papers and got proof. Yet they still charged me after "cancelling" as if I wouldn't notice. Luckily, I stay on top of my finances. 3. Rude and Disrespectful Gym Culture Many members here grunt excessively, take off their shirts, and pose for pictures in the middle of the floor. I'm all for people doing their thing, but there's a line and it's crossed daily here.

For example: Abs & Glutes (Boody Builder) section. A girls only section. VIP stretching room, and a Cardio section. When you first walk in there are really amniotic blue LED lights all around that really give the gym a nice vibe. There's an open concept where the machines aren't too congested and there is a VERY large blue carpet area in the center.
