Once we sat down, our server had waters at our table already and was quick to come take our drink orders. My friend ordered the very berry Bellini and loved it, so she ordered a second one. She gave it a 10/10. My other friend ordered a breakfast margarita - she gave it an 8/10. For food, we ordered the traditional meal with red velvet pancakes. She rated it a 9/10. My friend ordered house made corned beef hash with eggs, & cheese grits (gave it a 9/10) the grits needed some salt & pepper; and a Cinnabunn pancake (we give that a 12/10). The pancake was fire!!! I tasted a piece and wanted to order my own. My other friend ordered the crème brule chicken & waffles - she gave it a 9/10. I ordered an egg white omelet with turkey sausage, chicken, spinach & bell peppers. It was good but a little too runny for my liking. It came with fruit and whole wheat bread. I asked for strawberry jam and they brought me a homemade strawberry sauce that was soooo good! I give my meal an 7.5/10. Overall, the place is cute and pretty spacious with lots of seating. I would definitely come back and order some other items from the menu!

The salmon Croquettes were thick, the French Toast was sliced thick and fluffy, the corned beef hash had a crunchy bite to it and our eggs were made perfectly. We barely had any leftovers after sharing among 4 people. We felt like the portions and flavors fit the prices!

We tasted each other's breakfast and admired how very good it was also, but chose to eat what we ordered! :) I know you cannot fall in love with food... but hear me out! I didn't know this place existed until I found myself downtown looking for a brunch place. As a self professed foodie this place did not disappoint! The fruit was fresh. The vibe was there, the place was clean, the staff is friendly and that food!!! (Insert drool here) if you can't decide? Go to Babo! Yup. #fave.new.food

I assume there is a wait on weekends. Greeted by friendly staff quickly and offered a menu to pursue. Selections covered all the basic brunch items without being "too much." The ambience is warm and casual though ambient noise makes quiet conversation a challenge. Our server appeared to be newer and somewhat nervous so there was not much chitchat. Babo does not offer decaf coffee, a big disappointment. I settled for tea. The server was not aware of this decaf option until I asked. Our food came quickly although it was not super warm for either one of us. The syrup for the waffle was very cold, also a disappointment. Other than these two drawbacks, the flavors were wonderful and the pricing seems right in line for this area. Babo is a solid brunch choice in this are. We always look forward to our visits.

There is absolutely nothing bad on the menu. There are so many delicious items, I have a hard time picking what I want since I want everything. First, I love their coffee. We came for lunch and I had already had my morning coffee, but we had not been here in so long, I needed my Original coffee fix and ended up having three more cups. Their coffee taste great all ways, black, with cream, with cream and sugar, so good! My child had a strawberry lemonade. They limit you to only one refill, but they were very kind and asked her if she was ready for her second cup. We love their specialties, which they do warn you takes extra long to bake, about twenty minutes, but it is always worth it. I ended up getting the baby Dutch garden, which is baked. It is so good, so underrated, I love this one every time. It is like an omelette inside a German pancake. It is perfection. I always also need something sweet, so I got a half order of blueberry pancakes. The batter is so good and they give you a side of blueberries in syrup. My child got the baked apple. This is the most iconic treat and a must order if you have never been here before. Again, it is baked sugar, apples and cinnamon inside a German pancake. We both had leftovers. So, each of our meals was like two meals. My husband got the broccoli and cheese omelette and a side of chocolate chip pancakes. They have hands down the best chocolate chip pancakes in the area and their omelettes are so fluffy and delicious. Personally, when I get their omelette, I get the spinach and cheddar which is amazing. Other items I love include the 49ers. Those are the best pancakes, they are a hybrid crepe and American pancake, and if you have never had one, you need to try them, they are ginormous. Their buckwheat pancakes are also so good. Their orange juice is typically fresh squeezed and worth ordering, and there are so many other items I have never tried because I do not have enough room in my stomach. This is a must try for everyone. There is usually a long line, but it tends to go quickly. Service is always friendly.

Valet parking is available as part of the hotel for $15. Once you walk in the hotel's entrance, don't be surprised if you stop and stare a bit. This is a beautiful, old school lobby. It took a moment for the servers to figure out which one of them was going to wait on us, but after that, it was smooth sailing. My wife's hot honey crispy chicken sandwich was served with a sriracha aïoli, which it only needs if you want extra heat, or if you're like me and you like dipping everything. The sandwich itself wasn't particularly spicy, but it didn't need to be. The sauce meant that it wasn't crispy, but it was so delicious that it hardly mattered. This is a good-sized sandwich, large enough that my wife couldn't finish it. Woo hoo... More for me! Both of us opted to pay the extra $1 to replace chips with crispy fries. Excellent decision. Most French dips that I've had have been something akin to an Arby's sandwich with watgravy. Don't get me wrong. I like Arby's, but I don't want to spend fine dining prices for Arby's. This is a cut above French dips you've likely had before. This is thickly cut steak with real beefy flavor. But, you will want to use this dip. It's gloriously clouded with herbs and chopped onion. And, I could have eaten the bread by itself, too. It's a hearty Dutch cheddar bread. It all came together beautifully. I wanted to savor her every bite, but my appetite got the better of me. I just spent two paragraphs talking about a sandwich. Now that's love. We seriously didn't know the price point here. For some reason, my Yelp isn't showing me dollar ratings. This is definitely a $$$ restaurant. I would love to take my wife back here again for a special occasion. But, I was happy that we got phenomenal food that also filled us up for about $50.

We settled in for a round of craft cocktails and all of us enjoyed the creations. My wife had the last word and that's a pretty fun cocktail to have where you get a note from a previous guest and get to leave one for another. Our waitress was attentive as she could be based on what she had going on. For a starter, we tried the Brussel sprouts they were OK. For dinner I had the French dip sandwich and I enjoyed it. The dip wasn't too salty which I really appreciate. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. We'd certainly come back. Thanks for a good experience.

My sister had the Honest John's hard cider that was on draft. It wasn't as sweet, but it was good as well. I had the grilled johnny john sandwich -- chicken, swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce on grilled pita. It was very filling; I only ate half! My sister had the chicken Caesar wrap, with the same result. These pancakes are magical...the buckwheat gives every bite a nutty and slightly sweet character. So why not just order pancakes? You could do that, and I guarantee you'll love them. I love the spinach omelet with cheddar, but what really makes it sing is the creamy sherry mushroom sauce. I don't mind admitting that I went mmm mmm mmm with every bite.
