Captain Dizzy Car Wash - Fresh from the car wash, doesn't seem right to me!

Captain Dizzy Car Wash

I was absolutely delighted with this car wash. I was in Marysville to attend an event and had a…read morebit of time so I just asked my vehicle's navigation to direct me to a car wash. This was the closest one. My big white SUV was absolutely caked with dirt and mud from driving around in Snowmageddon for 10 days. I really didn't have high expectations for a conveyor belt car wash, but wow did they do a good job! First of all, it was called "Wet Rabbit" when I arrived. Not sure if it's just rebranding or new ownership? I was greeted by an attendant who helped me choose between 3 options: $11, $14 and $18. I chose the $14 wash because I wanted the wheels and undercarriage to get attention. I pull around to the start of the conveyor belt and there are two attendants with pressure washers ready to soap up my wheels and rocker panels. Then it was off on the typical conveyor belt car wash experience. This is NOT touchless, fyi. I don't mind intense spinning brushes attacking my family battle wagon, but I wouldn't bring my Tesla through there for that reason. Once I exited the conveyor belt, there were 2-3 attendants ready with dry towels. All in all, it took a whopping 3 minutes to take my kid limo from disgusting to clean and shiny. For $14 + tip, that was well worth it to me!

The best value would be a membership but I just can't see myself using it enough to make it worthwhile. The really nice thing about QQ is that vacuuming is free to all, customer or not. You can spend as little or as much time as you like getting all the crumbs and other bits out of your car without worrying about the vacuum running out mid-job.

I came here a month ago and asked for a 1-one time car wash, the medium tier one. The employee told…read moreme about some promotion being offered where it was actually cheaper to get the deluxe wash. I said "do I have to sign up for a membership? I do not want a membership." I was VERY clear that I only wanted a 1-time wash. He lied to my face and said I didn't need to sign up for a membership. He handed over a tablet for me to input my email and to pay with my credit card. When I submitted, some pop up on the screen came up stating something about signing up for a membership. I asked him AGAIN if he was signing me up for a membership to get the promotional price. I told him AGAIN that I didn't want a membership. He assured me that I was not subscribing for anything. Then today, I was billed $43.75 for a MFing membership. Luckily customer service was helpful in canceling the membership and refunding the money, but I will never, EVER give this place a dime of my money ever again. I don't care HOW long the line at Wet Rabbit is!
