It's the best of both worlds, and that's very much the case at David Yurman at Nordstrom. The David Yurman boutique at Bellevue's Nordstrom is located in fine jewelry and has its own area with four glass cases of women's and men's jewelry. The selection is not large, but they have all the classic favorites along with its trendier and seasonal ones. The employee was very helpful. She allowed me to try on the cross cable bracelet that I received, in addition to other pieces that would go with the bracelet. She was very knowledgeable about the different items, explaining what metals, stones and materials made up certain pieces. If you're a fan of David Yurman jewelry, but are a Nordstrom shopper, this boutique is a great place to shop at versus the David Yurman store in Bell Square.

The store is located in the Admiral district, across the street from Hiawatha Playfield. They are on the ground level of the Orion Building, with plenty of free street parking nearby. I just walked into the store and someone started helping me immediately. I could tell she was a runner and had tons of experience, so I felt comfortable trusting her guidance. In addition to measuring my feet, she also watched me walk (without shoes on) to analyze my gait. She gave me several brands/styles to try on and asked for my input after each one. I selected two pairs and I'm happy with my purchase. I think the price I paid was close to the online price and I am glad that I can support a local business instead. They also have a loyalty program, so if you spend a certain amount of money, you get a discount for the next year. In addition to being a retail store, West Seattle Runner is also involved in the local community. For example, they offer free weekly running groups and events with physical therapists. I would definitely shop here again.

I'd always bought my…read moreshoes at Super Jock n Jill in Greenlake, but tried the local shoe store in search of some new Hokas, excited as I'd never owned any before. The sales guy was interestingly high pressure to sell me larger sizes than I'd ever worn. He measure my feet and assured me I now needed 10.5 and I'd never owned anything larger than 8. He convinced me it was the right thing to do. Imagine running with clown shoes, that's how my Hokas feel when I run. I'll not go back, and would kindly steer you to other outlets. These are not cheap shoes so make sure you go somewhere that sets you up with the right size.

T.R. initially showed me several of their in-house diamonds and settings, continuously offering more options as I narrowed down my selection. This process was a lot of learning, and I thought Jayne did excellent at helping me piece it all together. Ultimately, T.R. accepted a diamond I had purchased from another jeweler and agreed to fit it in one of their unique settings. T.R.'s work is flawless and the engagement ring is truly one of a kind stunning. I would recommend anybody work with T.R. for their engagement ring.

I first went to them requesting my parents wedding rings to be merged and redesigned and from the get go they showed immense care when crafting the piece. Everything is done collaboratively and the owner, Richard, is easily one of the most personable people I have ever met. You never feel pressured and the entire process is a conversation. They did such a wonderful job that when it came time for my partner to propose he went in and they helped him design my dream ring. Together we then went back once more to pick out our weddings bands and I was able to find a custom piece and my fiancé found the perfect ring which they made extra special by inlaying part of his grandfather's wedding band into it. Incredible service, excellent people, highest quality inventory.

I finally had the opportunity to detour and check out this retail business (9/4/26). Gorgeous high ceilings, natural light filled, nicely arranged and curated shop. The focus and business statement, "modern travel curated with a conscience" hits the mark. I wandered throughout with the other onsite customers. I loved the sunlight filled travel book area, perfect for inspiration. There's various fashion and travel accessories like hats, shoes, sunglasses, clothing, helpful gadgets, luggage pieces, and an assortment of bags with quality craftsmanship. My long time bookbag & messenger bags have seen better days from work or travel. Duct tape is not being fashion forward, lol. I was busy gawking at all the lovely bags on display. I also enjoyed briefly chatting with Yoshi owner, Dani. Nice addition to the Phinney Ridge and Greenwood neighborhood. Adjacent, nearby street parking is available. None of that downtown street/garage or mall parking insanity. Let Dani or Rhone assist with or inspire your next travel adventure. Terrific spot for unique gift giving ideas too.

The Lincoln Square South has added a hotel, Nordstrom Rack, a Gym/Sports venue, an upscale Cinemark with recliners, a food hall, and many new restaurants. My regulars amongst the food options are Duke's and Japonessa, as well as some of the food hall eateries. The coffee shop in the food hall draws a crowd late into the night after dinner, especially since they also have sweets.
