Trying to support local as usual. Just to have zero welcome into the business, even though the owner stared right at me. Be skipped in line after an already long wait then when I said I was out of here the "owner" told me while waving his hand to just get out among other choice words. I replied simply fuck you ‍ matched energies. Walked out and that was that, or so I thought. Tell me why a grown adult, one of the owners Darian Blauch decided to then follow me instead of actually helping the customers still waiting inside, recording me from the shop to the Jeep and try to get the license plate. All because I didn't want to spend money because of their terrible customer service. Never even a acknowledgement of the long wait. When told to get away from myself and the vehicle he just said it's public property and stayed harassing and stalking. Idk what grown man thinks it's acceptable to act like that, but according to PD this isn't uncommon for him to act like this. They've had multiple calls for his same actions.

We were not impressed and would not recommend.

Brisket Burnt End Scramble -- 9/10…read more This was a seriously loaded breakfast. The plate had tender, smoky brisket burnt ends mixed with scrambled eggs, melted cheddar, BBQ sauce and crispy onions, all over a generous portion of hash browns, with toast on the side. The combination of the smoky brisket, creamy eggs, melted cheese and crunchy fried onions gave every bite something different. The burnt ends were definitely the star of the plate, and the portion was large enough that you won't leave hungry. The Pumpkin Spice Latte was a great match for the breakfast. It had espresso, pumpkin spice and milk, topped with pumpkin cold foam and whipped cream. The cold foam really made this one stand out. Instead of being just another overly sweet pumpkin drink, you get that creamy pumpkin flavor

We came to The Hershey Pantry because of all the great reviews. We put our name in for a table at…read more10:48 a.m. and were told the wait would be approximately 30 minutes. Unfortunately, we weren't seated until 11:32, making the actual wait closer to 45 minutes. Our server was friendly, and since we'd had plenty of time to look over the menu while waiting, we were able to order right away. Unfortunately, it then took another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. We're not sure where the delay occurred--whether it was the kitchen, staffing, or something else--but between waiting for a table and then waiting for our food, the entire process felt excessively long. The good news is that the food itself was really good. My husband ordered the burnt ends egg dish, and I had the praline pancakes, which were excellent. We also ordered sausage as a side, and that was great as well. We had no complaints about the quality of the food. Would we come back? Maybe. If we did, we would probably try to arrive before 8 a.m. or after the main breakfast rush. The restaurant is fairly small, and based on our experience, it seemed to struggle with getting guests seated and served efficiently during a busy period. Plenty of busy breakfast restaurants and diners manage to turn tables and get food out quickly, so I think The Hershey Pantry could really benefit from looking at its service and kitchen workflow during peak hours. The food is good enough to warrant another visit, but waiting nearly 45 minutes for a table followed by another 40 minutes for food makes it difficult to recommend visiting during their busiest times.

They've utilized the large store area with cozy sofa lounge spaces, a full cafe bar at the back left with coffee, tea, pastries, etc. To the right are shelves of books, both new and used. Prices are reasonable for a small business. They even have a house blend of coffee, available to drink in the cafe or beans to go, which is made by a local roaster in Cleona. The owners are super friendly and thoughtful about what they want this place to be. I talked to them about their events, including already popular book clubs that meet in the lounge area. It sounds like a great place to meet other people while talking about your favorite books. For people with kids, the children's section is super cute, and also has some cozy seating areas to peruse the books. Book stores are a precious commodity in this time, and it's great for a community like Palmyra to have one like this. Definitely check it out!

After driving all over the complex (thank you GPS) & having to turn around twice due to dead-ends, we ended up parking behind the hotel in the hotel parking, where it looked like everyone needed parking permits... but an employee said we'd be fine to park there and gave us directions to the coffee shop inside. It was a bit difficult to find from that side, even with his directions, as once again NO signs. They had plenty of signs for locating your building and room... so why wouldn't they add signs for finding food and getting more $$ out of their patrons?? Once we finally found it with the hope of not being towed, we also saw where the main parking was - a HUGE lot out front. The service inside was great. They even had gluten-free blueberry muffins that were so good I almost wolfed it down before getting a photo. Fluffy and moist... not a brick or dry like most GF baked goods. They had other GF baked goods listed as well, but none were in stock. Hubs got a breakfast sandwich that he said was really good. We both got mochas - his was supposed to be iced and they made it hot (happens a lot, actually), but it was "fine"... Mine was basically a melted Reese's cup and OMG. Hands down one of THE BEST coffees I've EVER had. We will definitely be back... this time in the correct parking lot! ‍

The brunch drinks are decent, and I usually come here for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday. This location sits on Chocolate Avenue, and the easiest approach is to park in the garage behind the building and walk across. You'll enter through what feels like the back door, but it's the easiest way in. There is other parking nearby, but the garage is what I recommend. Pricing is appropriate for the market, but expect to pay quite a bit more than you would at a conventional breakfast spot like IHOP or Denny's. Service is generally good. I've never had a great experience or a terrible one here, and that's the point of a chain working to hold the same standard across its locations. Service is more consistent than at many neighborhood mom-and-pop places, and the restaurant is consistently clean. Like other First Watch locations, this one can be loud. It gets very busy at peak times and on brunch holidays like Mother's Day, and large family groups are common, so factor in your noise tolerance for the morning. You can join the waitlist through the First Watch app, and they'll text you when your table is ready. That's handy on Chocolate Avenue, because you can walk around the area while you wait. Just don't stray too far. Nothing on the menu is unique, and nothing is likely to knock your socks off on a second or third visit. What First Watch does have is dependable standards. When I'm in the mood for lemon ricotta pancakes or their Million Dollar Bacon, this is where I go, because I know exactly what I'm getting. It's a solid four stars. If you're in the mood for something on their menu, it's the right place to get it.
