I have been a loyal client at Honey Bunny for over three years, consistently scheduling waxing…read moreappointments every five weeks. Over that time, I have spent between $2,250 and $2,475 on services. Unfortunately, a recent experience has made it clear that continued loyalty holds little value at this business. Due to an unforeseen work emergency, I was unable to make a 5:30 PM appointment. I am fully aware of their cancellation policy, but I had no control over the situation and made an effort to communicate and reschedule. Despite this, I was charged a 35% cancellation fee, which came to $18.25. What made this more frustrating is the fact that the same technician had other availability that day, and the time could have easily been rebooked with another client. Rather than choosing to work with a dependable and long-standing customer, the business chose to enforce a fee without consideration of the context. Ironically, that small fee turned out to be a turning point. I have since switched to sugar waxing, and the improvement in service is undeniable. No more burns from wax that's too hot, no skin trauma from wax that's too cold, and absolutely no redness or irritation. The difference in quality and care speaks for itself. It's also important to note that over the course of three years, I experienced significant turnover among estheticians, making it difficult to maintain consistent quality and rapport. While policies are important, so is discretion -- and in this case, the lack of flexibility cost them far more than the $18 they collected. They may have followed their policy, but in doing so, they made it clear that customer loyalty is not a priority. A small fee was gained, but a loyal client -- and future revenue -- was lost.

That's exactly what I underwent and I couldn't be more pleased with the results even in this early stage of healing. It has been a mere 6 days since my procedure was performed at the skilled expertise hands of Dr. Chad Deal of Southern Surgical Arts located in Calhoun, GA. (They have a second medical building in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well.) Now, for those of you who may judge or have something negative to comment or think, -go ahead and waste your time, - you simply won't hurt my feelings. Now, where was I? Okay, let share the reason why I choose this route. 16 years ago yesterday, -I had my first and only child and my abdominal wall was naturally stretched out. Now, in most cases, the abdominal wall snaps back with proper exercise, care, etc. - but I was one of those that unfortunately dismissed exercise at that time and just settled with the bit of hanging skin that was left behind. Skip ahead to 2009. That is when I realized exercise was quite beneficial and not only lost many many pounds, - but got in great shape by mid 2010 and looked pretty good with my clothes ON. Fact. Well, during this time I even was doing 3 sets of 500 crunches 3x a day. A little tighter stomach but still the extra skin and not close to a bikini body. Jump ahead to this year. In April I joined X3 Sports in Inman Park after packing a good 25 pounds back on (slowly) over this past 16 months or so. The first one (located in Midtown) told me I could get it almost right away and would be good to go in a week for a reunion in California I was hoping to attend. WRONG. UNREALISTIC. ***INTERUPTION! I actually have my follow up appt shortly in Calhoun so I have to continue this when I return. Hopefully getting my tubes out today. Oh, and it turns out that NO amount of exercise would have EVER given me these much-to-be desired (early) results. My abdominis rectus was over 5 1/2 cm separated and unattached. Thank You, Dr. Deal. I love this talented, warm, realistic, personable Doctor. So, the bottom line is that if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested, -message me and I can even send You the "before and after" pics, - what was cut off and sucked out, -me still on the operating table after the procedure, - and me today, -8 days later. (I don't know how well those pics would be received if I post them here, lol..) Anyway, I made the best decision EVER. This procedure goes hand in hand with self esteem, happiness, quality of life, and more. -And I am almost 44 years old. I so deserved this! I've generally found their estheticians to be friendly and quick (which is what you want when it comes to waxing!) I saw Mitzy this week and she was a sweetie. (My only complaint, and this is from my HB visits in general, is that I sometimes have a fair amount of breakage which can lead to ingrown hairs. You either have to parallel park on a busy street (if your lucky enough to find a spot) or park in a parking lot across the street. I had an appointment for 5 o'clock today and unfortunately could not find parking so I was 5 minutes late. When I walked in, there was a lady ahead of me signing in. After she finished signing in I told them I had a 5 O'clock appointment and apologized for being late because of parking. They said they could not see me today because I was 5 MINUTES late. The blocked appointment time is 40 minutes so I was confused as to how 5 minutes made that big of a difference. My sneaking suspicion was that they accepted the lady in front of me as a walk in in place of my appointment. Conveniently as I was walking out and back to my car I received a text message saying my appointment had been cancelled. What good is a text message AFTER you've already been in and turned away?? Overall I am very disappointed in the fact that they decided to accept a walk in ahead of a returning customer. I have a busy weekend and this was the only time I could do it. I have been to this location one time before and had the same frustrations with parking as well as the wax that the technician used nearly BURNED my skin. I will not be returning to this location.
