I lost my hair due to chemotherapy. I was in Mesa for a short while and went in for a wig. Although the person who fit me seemed helpful, I discovered later that the wig should have been a petite size rather than average. I am no longer in Arizona and have a very ill fitting, large wig. I have been to two wig stores since that experience and both places acknowledged immediately that I do not have an average size head. Disappointed with this store. read more

I dreaded having to shop for a wig but out of the necessity of my hair falling out, I made an appointment. Chelsea, my stylist, told me to select the styles I like. She selected as well. I fell in love with the first one she showed me...a Raquel Welch with highlights...because it looks like how I normally wear my hair. Perfection! Can't beat "perfection" so I didn't try on any of the other gorgeous styles, colors, lengths. It took about 30 minutes and was a delightful shopping experience. read more

I NEVER write reviews but......Haley has completely changed my life. I've always had fine thin hair but now I have THINNING hair and it's awful. I went to Haley and got a topper. It is so AMAZING. SHE IS SO AMAZING!!!! I have had comments literally "you look stunning" " your hair is so beautiful" " you look younger" (maybe my favorite). Nobody has a clue it's a topper. I went to Haley's grand opening today. I have to say, her store in incredible. First, the wigs are clearly high quality. Gorgeous coloring, natural part. Those who were wearing wigs, I could not tell! She has a large variety of styles and colors. She also trims them herself there in the store for you. We made it a girls trip to support my friend going through chemo and her hair is falling out and they were amazing! Haley is amazing!!! She is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside!! I have been losing my hair and I needed a topper to hide my scalp! I was nervous to the point of being sick at the beginning of the appointment but over the moon excited when I left!! Losing you hair is difficult for anyone! Haley gave me peace of mind knowing I have options!! Not only did I get a topper that matches my hair perfectly I also bought a wig!! Haley has made me a believer!! Hailey is a very sweet person. She takes time to measure your head. That's where it all stops! I order a human hair wig, cost over $2000. I had brought in another wig and showed her that I really liked the cut and color of the wig. It had highlights in it. She said and promised me that she could do the same with this wig. When going to pick the wig up, it wasn't even close to the cut or the highlights that were in my other wig. In fact I could out by one of her other Assistants, that they had to completely re-dye the wig, which accounts for the way the hair feels. This was about the most upsetting thing as a customer to hear. Then it came to sizing the wig. One wonders why take all these measurements? I had to come back 3 times to get the wig to fit right, the placement of the hair clips to hold on to my own hair kept getting messed up (to be honest, because of everything, the wig not looking like my other wig as far as highlights and cut, I've never worn this wig, not please with it at all). When I got upset about the wig and the clips (mind you she measured your head, what's with not measuring where the clips should go?) up arriving again to have the clips changed out, mind you this would take hours out of my day) I was greeted by her assistant, so I hear your pissed off! Now is this any way to great a person who just spent thousands on wig, to not only have to come back several times to have it fitted properly, but to hear that it was colored twice because they screwed up the first time!? I'm beside myself!! Then I heard they couldn't get the color I requested, which was Goldwell. I had asked several times are you sure you can get the color. All they wanted to do was get their money!!! Talk about pissed off, yea I was pissed off over the whole ordeal!! She said they were out of the one color. Then wait till the color comes in!! Don't screw me over so you can't get your money! So all I have to say is they put on a good show!! I know cutting, I've cut all my wigs, the way they tackled the cut, was not the way I would have approached it. You start with a c cut around the face. No they didn't do that! The cut is off, the color is off! Yea now I'm pissed!! All I can say is buyer beware!! I now go to North Scottsdale to get my wigs! One of the largest selection of wigs there is. Huge building. Although, she's got a great selection, she's also able to cut and style the way you want. She's down to earth and competitively priced. I ordered a medical wig from the seller and paid for overnight shipping. Immediately upon receiving I noticed it was damaged. I immediately contacted seller to notify. She then responds to me and offers me an identical exchange or something in a different style or color. I explained my concern if it was the same identical style and color as I don't want take my chances of the wig being from the same batch and receiving another defective one. She ignores my concern and sends me an identical unit in worse condition than the original one. I notified seller of this. I have email documentation of her acknowledging this issue. She then provides me instructions to flat iron a synthetic wig in an attempt to fix the damage. Applying heat to a synthetic wig can be disastrous and permanently destroy a wig. I informed the seller I was not comfortable doing this as I paid over $200 for a brand new not defective wig. I didn't pay to be playing beauty shop and try to fix damaged wig. I am not a hairstylist and she never even offered a discount for wanting me to try to fix it. I would like a full refund including shipping as I paid for a brand new medical wig and received defective product. Seller didn't even discount for me to take to a local wig salon to try to repair and be able to use this wig that I urgently needed. Seller is now avoiding me and refusing to resolve. Sends you a return label to a third party address. PayPal doesn't allow third party returns the return must match the sellers address on file. Extremely dissatisfied and do not recommend this business to anyone. I am letting all my wig sisters know as I don't want anyone going through this nightmare of experience - defective merchandise and you are not their priority. I have purchased a number of wigs and toppers, but none are the quality of Haley's Designer Wigs. Last year, while in Mesa, discovered Haley's. Haley was so nice and helpful and went out of her way to get one of the wigs in before I left Mesa. I bought two wigs from Haley and am planning on purchasing one or two new wigs when visiting Mesa. I called Haley's wigs to ask if they had petite size wigs. I explained to them we (My Aunt and I) only wanted petite size wigs. I was told on the phone that they only had a few but could order MOST of the wigs in the shop in a petite. My Aunt is ill (hence needing a wig) we drove all the way there 40 minutes and when we arrived and chose 2 wigs we liked they checked and said that neither of these came in petite. We looked at other wigs we liked and they were not available in petite either. We went on to ask what wigs did come in petite, she said very few. I had spoken with her on the phone saying that MOST of the wigs could be ordered in petite. When reminded of our conversation 2 days prior when I made the appointment, she said she must have misunderstood. She said that we could get an average size wig (huge on my Aunts head wouldn't even stay on without tugging on it every few minutes) and they would take it in. No way it could have been taken in that much with out looking ridiculous. A complete waste of my Aunts energy and time. She was very upset and frustrated after being told they had or could order MOST wigs in the shop in petite. I will say that the help with trying the average size wigs on was good. read more

I drove 3 hours from where I live to visit her store, and glad I did. I have been to many wigs stores in my life, and have never recommended any, till now. Haley is an authentically sweet and caring person, who is passionate and very knowledgeable about wigs. She will do everything in her power to get you the best wig, for you. I found Haley over a year ago by watching You Tube videos. I realized that she was in the valley. I drove to her 1st store in mesa, a hour drive for me but, I am so glad I did. Haley listened to what I was looking for and went out of her way to help me. Her prices are great and has a wide variety of wigs and toppers in great colors and styles. For every age range, purpose, and level of hair loss. She takes cancer prescriptions. She is great. Now she has opened her west valley store and I am so happy since its cuts my drive time on half. I go to her for many reasons. 1) she can customize the hair to make it yours, 2) she is able to wash and revitalize a wig to get it to last much longer then you may think, 3) she tells you what your really getting, 4) she price matches and has a rewards program. 5) her customer service is great and she will ship too!
