I'm obsessed with Classy Sisters Wigs. I called to see if they could help trim/fix layers in a wig I bought elsewhere -- they were so kind on the phone and we made an appointment. I've visited several other wig stores and this one is farther from me, but I had high hopes based on the reviews. They surpassed all of my expectations and I can't wait to come back. Every person there is absurdly kind and helpful. It's such a comfortable atmosphere (no shaming, pushy behavior, etc that you might experience elsewhere). Britney, Jummy, and Christian brightened my day and helped correct the wig I brought in -- it was choppy and weird when I came in, and stunning by the time I left. Jummy took a ton of time answering my questions, checking measurements, etc. She was so careful and exact in her cut in order to preserve the length while evening out the rest. I also poked around the store and their wig pricing is really competitive (and lower than the other stores I've popped into with equally diverse selection). I also ended up purchasing a velvet wig grip w/lace center to replace the one my dog tried to wear and destroyed. Even the wig grip was super affordable, coming in at 25% less than the cheapest option on Amazon. This business truly cares and feels like family. I went in with three friends and my daughter the weekend before starting chemotherapy. We had the best time. The ladies here made the experience amazing for me to pick out a new wig. They were super fun with my 8 year old daughter too. I watched as many women were helped to find solutions to their hair needs, all with kindness and an upbeat spirit. I ended up getting a beautiful wig and a halo wig. I also had no idea that when you have breast cancer there is a grant program that gives you a $250 credit. They work with a wonderful organization that helps women get the wigs they need. This helped so much! I'm very grateful for the experience I had there. It made all the difference. I have been shopping here for years but it is under new ownership. I stopped by today to buy a wig at 4:30 and the lady told me that I had to make an appointment. I could not buy anything. I will not be shopping here any. Good wigs are expensive but I am sure there are other wig stores in Phoenix AZ. The last wig I bought from here was human hair. My 79 year old mom has been experiencing hair loss which has affected her self esteem. I found Classy Sisters through a web search. We called and were able to make an appointment within a few days. Upon arriving, we were greeted and told to take our time and find any wig my mom wanted to try on. The staff was very kind and patient as my mom did not know what she really wanted. I cannot say enough how comfortable and kind the associate was that worked with us. My mom found a wig and then had it trimmed and shaped a little bit. The customer service here is great, however I'm not a fan on the quality of the wig. Constant matting and tangling and i was told "that's to be expected" but considering the price of the wigs that is disappointing. Went in with my aunt to mainly check out how a particular color would look on me before seeing my stylist but ended up buying a wig for both of us. Despite being walk-ins, with no clear intent to buy, the owner herself (Toni) spent time with both of us trying on different styles and colors and then styling the wigs we picked out. Wow- what an experience! I had been struggling with non-specific insidious alopecia for a while now, and been putting off wigs. I tried a different shop and I felt like I was bugging the employees and I got emotional and left. So when I got the strength to come to Classy Sisters Wigs, I was expecting to pay a lot for something I end up settling on. I wish I could have taken every wig they suggested home with me! They were kind, compassionate, and never made me feel rushed! They were honest if something didn't fit right, or look right. They took the time to ensure I felt secure (the wig being physically secured in my head plus emotionally secure) when I left the shop. I explained how unsure I was with care and they offered to a of tips and direction and then said if I needed any help to just come back and they will be here for me. Scam alert! Check the price of your wig online before you buy from this store! The people who run this store also run a charity that provides wigs for chemo patients. This would be great if their goal was to help cancer patients. What they are doing is marking up cheap wigs by several hundred dollars and then using the funds from the charity (or your insurance) to pay for the wig at a huge profit. I've gotten ahead of myself though. Let me explain. I had breast cancer in 2014 and was referred to this shop for a "free" wig. I brought in the paperwork from my oncologist confirming my diagnosis and picked out a wig. The wig was priced at $300. I was thrilled, there is no way I could have afforded a $300 wig. The lady checked her records and found that the most her charity could approve me for was $250. I paid the $50 plus tax and was really happy with my new wig. A few months later I went into another wig store. That store wasn't for people with cancer, it seemed to mostly cater to the African American population. They had hundreds of wigs and the prices were significantly (like hundreds of dollars) cheaper. I looked through the wigs and found one that I really liked. It had a lace front and was a pretty blonde color. It reminded me of the one I'd gotten at Classy Sisters but I thought the part was different and blonde was slightly lighter. I was thrilled when I saw the $60 price tag. I bought it, took it home and put the new wig on the stand next to my classy sisters wig, They color, cut and lace looked identical. I checked the tags and it was the exact same model, brand, and color. That's weird. So I checked online. I found the brand and model of the wig from Classy sister was available online between $50-$100. None of the wigs in that brand line were even in the $200 plus range. They overcharged me (and the people who donated to the charity) by at least $200. What they are doing is wrong. They are taking advantage of women who are in a horrible situation, women who, likely have never owned a wig before. They use their lack of knowledge about wigs to sell them a ridiculously overpriced wig and either have it paid for through their "charity" or through your insurance. They are also scamming the good people who are donating to their charity thinking they are helping women going through chemo get a wig not lining the pockets for these women who marked up cheap wigs so they could make a huge profit. It's disgusting. Do yourself a favor and check the price of your wig online before you buy. read more

Toni is a wonderful person. In the midst of the corona virus lockdown, she opened her store by appointment for me. I had a very limited time span in between chemo and she worked very hard to be there when I needed her. The store is spotless. All surfaces have been disinfected, hand sanitizer is readily available and Toni is masked. I felt absolutely safe. Tony listens, consults and while I was prepared to pay whatever I needed to to get a wig I would be happy with, she wound up selling me a very moderately priced wig because it was the right wig for me. She then contacted the manufacturer because the wig needed to be in a different color and was able to expedite delivery by an entire week. I will have the custom ordered wig in 4 days. On top of all this, I did not know what accessories I needed. Toni actually dissuaded me from buying things I would not need. Go to Classy Sisters before you buy a wig anywhere else. My head is small and I have always worn my hair very short. When I lost my hair (chemo) I bought two wigs from other stores. Even though I bought the smallest sizes and shortest cuts I could find, I felt overwhelmed with hair. I took my two wigs in with me to show them, and hoped to find one I liked better. I found another wig there that I liked, but it was too big and wrong color. Toni ordered it in my size. I paid a deposit, but there is no obligation to buy it if I don't like it when I go back to try it on. But the best thing is that she spent so much time with me and the two wigs I already bought elsewhere. She made both of caps smaller and thinned out the hair. Both of them look and feel great now! Karen and Toni were amazing and so was my wig. They are a fabulous company to work with and treat all women, especially cancer patients, with the upmost respect. After cancer I started the non-profit Don't be a Chump! Check for a Lump! who provided you with your free wig. Classy Sisters is NOT a non-profit, nor did they provide you with the free wig, nor did they scam you. Our foundation Don't be a Chump! Check for a Lump! paid for your wig through our Wig Out program. Classy Sisters Wigs is a business. Classy Sisters Wigs out of the kindness of their hearts donates another $50 for every one of our clients so that you receive a $300 wig for FREE! Last year they gave $11,000 in discounts to our clients. They go above and beyond to help our clients and make sure they are satisfied. As for your claim they are overpriced I can assure you they are not. We only work with very reputable wig shops. We refuse to work with anyone who is trying to upscale cancer patients with expensive wigs that cost $600- $1,000. And there are many of them out there who do this. Classy Sisters does not. Not sure where you received your crazy discounted wig. Maybe it was from the lady who broke into Classy Sisters Wigs and stole thousands and thousands of dollars of inventory. Or maybe she has funds to buy in huge quantities. As the head of the non-profit who works my butt off to bring in funds to provide for your free wig I would hope for the courtesy of a phone call or email that you had an unfortunate (and rare) experience so that one, our foundation could follow up to try and make it right, and two Classy Sisters could follow up and try and make it right.
