Each item has a different costs associated with it and you can see the price on the bottom. The butterfly in the picture was $22 and some items costs 2X or 3X that. Once you pick your item, then you can choose your colors and start painting. They recommend three coats for vibrancy. Depending on the size of your item and the detail you put in, it can take quite a while to do. After you're done, they will glaze it for you and you pick it up in a couple weeks. My experience here was with 8 girls from my daughters volleyball team along with the parents; we had food for the kids, and the parents of course had their own adult beverages to keep us occupied. We picked our signs well before the party and when we showed up the hosts explained to the girls how to select their stain and decorate their signs however they wanted. I love the freedom the girls had to roam and explore one anothers paintings; they were able to compare, collaborate and laugh. The staff did a fantastic job of keeping the girls focused enough to create beautiful signs, all the while having a great time to talk and mingle with one another. The place is clean and you are greeted with a smile when you walk in. The attitude from start to finish is positive and happy. You could spend time walking through the shop and reading the beautiful signs to get inspiration to create your own version. I will be organizing a neighborhood event and bringing them here, I think we would have a blast working with this place to provide a first stop for a party bus. This place would also be great for team building as you have the space and atmosphere for fun and positive thinking. We arrived, picked the designs we liked, and started right away. They give you a few tips, but you're pretty much on your own. We were advised it would take approx 2 hrs, but it took us closer to 3 hrs. You should plan a little extra time. Oh and you can buy a cup of Turkish coffee and they also give you a cup of pomegranate tea. I tried both and loved it! Once you're done painting, you can bake your plates in your oven for about 30 minutes and they're ready! They also have Turkish lamp making class and it looks also fun. We all booked online and were able to pick which lamp we wanted to design. I chose the swan lamp. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and once checked in we got situated at a table with a few other guests. I am in love with the space. First off, it's in a business area, and on a Sunday, there was no one else around. My GPS had difficulty finding the exact spot but once I had the suite number it was easy to find. When we walked in you could see how bright and airy this space is. Before the start of class, we had time to chit chat and walk around to get ideas for our lamps. Our teacher (I think her name was Oun?) was super sweet and walked us through each step. The first step is laying out your design. We were served Turkish coffee and a Turkish treat, (for an extra charge) during this step. During the step where we glue on the tiles we were served the pomegranate tea that came with the price of the class. At the end of our 2+ hours we were given instructions on how to make the cement to seal all the mosaic tiles in and once I do that, I will post photos of my finished product. We all had a blast and would 100000% recommend coming here to get artsy.
