The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and always eager to recommend new and exciting dishes to savor, making every visit feel like a fresh experience. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed the Patron Margarita, which was perfectly crafted and complemented my meal wonderfully. The Poblano Chicken Relleno was absolutely delicious--packed with flavor and prepared to perfection. One thing that truly stands out at Rita's is the incredible protein portion sizes. You definitely get your money's worth, and no one leaves hungry. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with generous portions, friendly service, and excellent recommendations, Rita's is a must-visit. Just be prepared for the lunch crowd, because this local favorite fills up quickly for good reason!

We do a lot of take out with them because it's so convenient & I personally am addicted to their taco salads... they're amazing! Sorry for no pic but they use spring mix & marinated shredded chicken, not to be disappointed! I get the lunch size & it's more than enough, my hubby loves the enchiladas with the rice and beans! FYI the salsa is some of the best, we always get a 16 oz red salsa to go with our order! They always close @ 8pm but if they're slow they'll be closing shop around 7:30... !

Also bring a group. The portions are huge and the food is clearly meant to be shared. Trust me on this one, bring friends. I've tried a bunch of dishes here, and there are a few I always go back to. For the table, Camarones Locos is an easy choice. The flame grilled shrimp comes out hot and full of flavor, perfect for passing around. La Patrona ceviche tower is massive and worth the order. When it hits the table, you immediately feel good about the decision. El Pulpazo is technically an entrée, but we always order it as a shareable. The octopus is grilled perfectly and it comes with rice and beans, so everyone gets a little of everything. For entrées, my number one pick is the Lobster and Crab Enchiladas with green sauce. I think about this dish at least once a week. The enchiladas are packed with lobster and crab, and the green sauce ties the whole thing together. Honestly, I could talk about this place all day. If you like Mexican food and seafood, you need to try it. Great food, big portions, and a menu that makes it hard to stop ordering.

The service was okay, but the staff lacked friendliness and didn't seem very welcoming. As for the food, some dishes were good while others were disappointing. Overall, the flavor was lacking for me, and many of the dishes just didn't stand out. Another issue we ran into was the parking situation. The parking lot is very small, and we had to park outside of it, which was inconvenient for a large group. Overall, my experience was not the best, and I wouldn't be coming back.

Server was very prompt and even though we sat outdoors we were attended to as if we were inside. 5 stars just for this part. We both got a light summer cocktails. My friend got watermelon spritz and i got the summer tan sangria. She got a salad and I got a katsu sandwich with a side salad. Didnt take long for food to come. Impressed that the food was so good. Katsu was lightly battered w panko. Delicious- and crispy and the meat was still tender and not dry. Absolutely enjoyed this. I wish i lived here for the food :) Will be back when we are back in town

I am always down for a peach mimosa and their chicken and biscuits with Old Bay gravy. It's one of those meals that keeps me coming back. The hybrid indoor-outdoor atmosphere is a great touch, and the lawn games help create a fun, relaxed environment that encourages people to stick around and enjoy themselves. During football season, they make sure the games are on, which makes this a perfect Sunday brunch spot for my wife and me. She gets brunch, I get football. Actually, that's not entirely true. I also get brunch, because brunch is delicious, and anyone who disagrees can go suck an Eggs Benedict. Great food, great atmosphere, and one of my favorite places to spend a Sunday morning.

I waited about 12 minutes to be seated, even though no one was ahead of me, while two people who arrived after me were seated first. Once at my table, my server walked past me three times without acknowledgment; it took nearly 8 minutes to get water. When my food came out, I noticed my white toast had been swapped for some odd-looking wheat bread with no explanation. I only found out they didn't carry white toast by asking. No manager stopped by, and communication from the front-of-house staff was nearly nonexistent from start to finish. The one bright spot was that the food itself was genuinely good. Visit 2 (Next Day): A completely different experience. The restaurant was actually busier, yet the hostess was immediately attentive and got me seated without delay. My server, Josh, came right over, was personable, and proactively let me know they don't carry white toast, offering sourdough as an alternative without me having to ask. I also had the chance to chat with Erin, the banquet manager, who brought a warm and welcoming energy to the floor. That kind of manager presence was completely absent on day one and made a noticeable difference. Bottom line: The kitchen is solid, both visits confirmed that. But the guest experience here can vary wildly depending on who's working. When the team is on, this place shines. Here's hoping Visit 2 is the new standard.

The music was Bad Bunny themed on this Saturday so we all got our dance on. I enjoyed the huge breakfast burrito, it was full of deliciousness, papas, eggs, pico and Chipotle sauce. Based on the photos online, it looked like the perfect place for our group to gather. I confirmed my reservation through both the email and text reminders. On the day of our reservation, another partner agency happened to be in town and wanted to join us. Since the website wouldn't let me modify the reservation, I called four times after they opened to see if I could add a few more people. Unfortunately, no one ever answered the phone. We decided to arrive early and ask in person. The Service When we arrived, the restaurant was absolutely packed. The hostess told us we were welcome to walk through the bar to see if we could find a table ourselves, but that they were extremely busy and likely wouldn't have anything available. After looking around, we came back and asked if the patio was an option since the misters made it surprisingly comfortable despite the Arizona heat. We were told the patio was for reservations only. When I reminded the hostess that we had a reservation, the explanation suddenly changed to, "We're on an event menu tonight." She handed me the menu while I stood at the host stand, walked away, and never really explained what that meant for our reservation or whether we would actually be seated. When she returned, instead of offering a wait time or another solution, she suggested we try Thirsty Lion down the sidewalk instead. At that point, it became clear that our reservation wasn't going to be honored. Parting Thoughts I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during major events. What disappointed me wasn't the crowd--it was having a confirmed reservation, receiving multiple confirmation requests, making several unanswered phone calls beforehand, and ultimately being left without a table or a meaningful explanation.
