In a last-ditch effort, I googled "gym Moab" and found The Gym on 5th. They had a 6pm class and were a 4 minute drive away! Despite coming in only 5 minutes early (not cool in the CrossFit world) and in somewhat of a frenzy, I was welcomed and was able to sign myself and my friend up for the class. The coach (I believe one of the owners) was knowledgeable and thorough breaking down the movements we were performing in the WOD. The entire class was friendly and we were happy to work out with the other owner who was in the class. Though the box is small, they have everything needed for a successful not-CrossFit-but-totally-CrossFit box. I hope they get a lot more good reviews! They deserve them.

The facility itself is great: lots of space, clean bathrooms and showers, and tap water supply between each two camp areas. Evan (Kevin?) was also very courteous and came to check in us each day. For T06 Great shade but you will require an extra canopy to cover the front area that includes picnic tables, otherwise you are going to fry or get hit hard by random thunderstorms (yes it happened to us just now). Note there are insects out here that can be an annoyance for some. Bring extra bug spray or raid (if needed for ants), because they might crowd in certain areas. Grills are old school. Recommend you bring your own.

The BEST way to spend the day in Moab! My boyfriend and I…read morerented this lovely vehicle from 8am-1pm and boy did we get our money's worth!! Upon arrival the staff was accommodating and friendly and asked us what type of ride we were looking for. We said some scenic routes, and then some rock crawling. They programmed our route into the gps in the vehicle and it was 100% user friendly. We took the vehicle to the Sand Flats Recreation area and did the 'Find N Things' route. We still had some time to kill so we braved the beginning part of 'Hells Revenge!' I am so glad we did because what an electric time we had!! After this trip, and this amazing time on the 4X4 we have decided to make Moab an annual trip. We will be back & ready to complete the entirety of 'Hells Revenge'!

Our family did…read morethe Gateway to Hell's Revenge / Fins and Things tour this morning (9-12:30) in a brand new 2026 Polaris side-by-side, and it did not disappoint. Epic 4x4 Adventures nailed it from start to finish. We hit some serious traffic with the Easter Jeep Safari in town, but Thor navigated around the congestion like a pro -- pivoting on the fly and actually turning the detour into the highlight of the trip. Baby Lion's Back was my personal favorite: a great climb, an even better descent, and some fun sand berms to cap it off. My kids (11 and 14) were loving every second of it. Thor clearly knows this terrain cold -- he guided us confidently over every obstacle and made sure we always felt safe without sacrificing any of the excitement. My wife occasionally deals with motion sickness and had zero issues, which honestly says a lot about how smoothly he ran the route. If you're in Moab and want a guide who knows when to stick to the plan and when to ditch it for something better -- ask for Thor.

The scenery was breathtaking, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide Shaun. Shaun was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the river, but also the history, geology, wildlife, and the entire surrounding area. Every question we asked was met with an interesting answer, and his passion for what he does really shines through. Beyond that, Shaun was kind, funny, smart, and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome from the moment we launched. He struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe, sharing fascinating information, and making sure we were having an amazing time. By the end of the trip, it felt like we had spent the day with a friend. We can't wait to come back to Moab and do it again! When we do, we will absolutely be requesting Shaun as our guide. If you're considering a rafting trip, don't hesitate - you'll make incredible memories, and if you're lucky enough to get Shaun, you're in for an unforgettable adventure!

I was super nervous about the rapids but it was honestly not bad at all. We even got in the water and floated thru the rapids at "swimmers rapids" and took some splashes in the face but it was still a ton of fun! It was warm out so getting splashed and in the water was refreshing! The smaller 6 person boats were the perfect size that you still got some bumps as you went thru the rapids vs the really huge boats some other companies had and it kept it to our family of 5.

Ken's Lake, which is about ten miles south of Moab, is a gorgeous area, with red rock fins to the east, sage brush flats to the south and west, and a reservoir to the north. The campground has two loops. Loop A can accommodate larger RVs, and require reservations through Recreation.gov or on-site through Scan and Pay if you've downloaded the Recreation.gov app. Note that there is almost no shade in this loop. Loop B is intended for smaller vehicles and tents. These are first-come, first served sites with payment thru Scan and Pay or by check or cash. Note that the campground is closed during the hottest summer months. See recreation.com for exact dates. We had a spacious, quiet non-electric site with gorgeous views. It was an easy walk down to the lake, and an easy drive to Arches National Park (15 miles?) The park was quiet overall but even more so when the day use patrons left for the day. There were clean restrooms, but no showers. The campground felt safe. The price for a site was reasonable, especially with a NPS Senior Interagency Pass. We would definitely stay here again.
