My husband and I were in Grand Junction dropping our daughter at college and we did 2 classes with Linda that were amazing! The heat of the room is perfect, not stifling like some other studios we've tried, and Linda is the absolute best instructor I've ever had! She really knows her stuff. And the motivational comments are spot on and really meaningful. I told her she should charge extra for the therapy! Highly recommend! read more

I was in Grand Junction for a few days this week and attended the Monday night 7:30 class taught by Katherine, I think she goes by Kat. She is an excellent instructor. My criticism is with the temperature of the room, which was entirely too hot! We followed a Bikram class. It was also much too dark for my liking. Not sure how an instructor would be able to correct participants if they can't see them! I noticed that you are a "Baptiste" studio, I am not familiar with this type of yoga, but I have noticed that your review "stars" are lower than any other studio in your town. You might want to think about how you can attract a variety of yogis by offering a variety of yoga styles. There certainly are not many studios to choose from in GJ. I am a traditional hatha yogini who has practiced for many, many years. If I visited GJ again or if I lived in GJ, I would not return to your studio. FYI, I was offended by a male participant who did his practice in his underwear! read more

I had never gone to yoga a day in my life...I ventured out called multiple studios here in gj and looked at yoga v but decided on half moon and haven't looked back...linda Jordan knows her stuff I will never go to another studio Linda is top notch read more

Fell in love with this studio. The teachers all have their own unique way of teaching. The heated studio is infrared which is amazing. I loved it so much I became an ambassador and have been for almost 2 years now. Most yoga studio ambassadors just get free yoga, but Linda the owner even pays us at the end of each month. She has expectations like any employer has, but it's been like a family for me here during my experience in college. Linda's support in my wrestling journey has taught me how to stay in my body and not think so much. The other teachers and yogis all feel like a family who even go to watch me compete when they can. They are part of the reason why I love Grand Junction. read more

I absolutely loved my class today with Linda at Half Moon Yoga. Linda gave great cues that helped me to experience something new in my practice, which is saying something as I've been practicing yoga for 13 years. She also provided some great energetic insights to ponder as I flowed, which added another dimension to the class that was very welcomed. Everyone there made me feel welcome and supported and I appreciated the community vibe that permeated throughout the class. I will definitely be back! read more

I say that after four years, this business owner replied that I had not been to her studio. I am dumbstruck. I attended the studio at the grand opening on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend. The owner, Linda Toth, may recall that, at this opening, she brought out a bowl the type that makes a gong sound to initiate the studio. There after I attended at least monthly, if not more. More often than not the teacher was Miranda Ashman. Who I know from when she was 18 and worked at Karen/her mother's coffee shop. Were that not enough to prove I attended the studio, I will add that the owner texted me twice and called me twice after this review (4 years hence) and she would not have my phone number if I had not done a customer card. I hope that Ms Toth will not try to contact me again because at neither her texts nor her voicemails did she apologize. Neither has she done so here. Thus, there is nothing to discuss. I said my truth. You can see how the owner responded--doubling down and essentially calling me a liar. Decide for yourself. I hope that Ms Toth takes a deep look in the mirror. read more

I love the vibe of this yoga studio! All of the instructors I experienced were top notch! What a blessing to the community that the owner provides a service to high schoolers. I just referred a young person there. read more

The best studio in GJ. Linda's is well educated on yoga/fitness and her approach is deeply touching, emotional, challenging, and motivating. A great place to work out and feel your feelings read more

This studio blew me away! My first class at Half Moon. I know I will be back next time I'm through GJ. The teacher was phenomenal. Marlena taught a powerful and fun flow! Hot Sweaty Power Yoga at it finest. There is a strong sense of community at Half Moon among the students and the staff. I had never practiced here before yet it felt like I had been a part of this community for years. Thank you for welcoming me into your space! I will see you again soon! If you practice yoga or want to try it out. This is the place. So grateful read more

I LOVED this yoga class. I went to the Power 2 class taught by Miranda with a friend who is a member of the class. Miranda introduced herself when she saw me and welcomed me to the tight knit class. Everyone knows each other and supports each other during the practice. It is truly an amazing thing to be a part of. The flow is definitely more exercise based and less spiritual which is fine but not the best option for yogis trying to be more meditative. The room was incredibly hot (99 degrees) and at one point I needed to step out but found it easy to jump back in. Miranda has a great presence and was supporting all the students which can be hard with so many people. I loved this class and would be a regular if I lived in CO. Highly Recommend. read more

I called to schedule, I had been told by friends the studio is one when the owners were committed to getting people into yoga. I lost my job, I'm caring for my dad and this sounded great. With whomever I talked to, they said this wasn't an option and wished me luck... I could pay partial not full. read more

Love this studio- excellent instructors, high quality customer service, infrared heat is the best! Great prices, free mats/towels/water- I've never been to a studio that was so generous. Matthew was challenging, consistent, insightful, and an overall positive, kind person. Studio is very clean and organized. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

On vacation, I did a Z Flow hot yoga class at 6:00p on a Tuesday. WOW. What a class. Great energy. Incredible yogi and very supportive yogis with me. Miranda was amazing. Highly recommend. read more

I was locked out and there was no one to speak to my very first day going to try this studio out. I left frustrated. No one at the front desk, no one to call. Pretty casual about trying to get me involved in the first place, no one mentioned the door would be locked and I wouldn't be able to get in if I was a minute late so. Thanks, you exclusionary bunch of possible ultra-liberals. read more

I called to inquire about classes and techniques. VERY RUDE on the phone and completely lacked knowledge regarding different techniques in Yoga. When someone learns the word "Namaste" and has plenty of money they suddenly think they are a Yogi guru! NOT Ill stick with Yoga West Collective and Yoga Vinyassa the real professionals. Thanks Karman read more

First, the studio is beautiful and clean. I went a few months ago but my experience still bothers me. A friend encouraged me to go and after hearing good reviews and having encouragement I went. I felt shame after going. I don't fit the picture perfect yoga person, my size is larger. The owner was teaching, she's incredibly fluid but I found her to be incredibly harsh and made an indirect comment to me about my weight. I work incredibly hard and my BMI is 23, I kept up fine in class. This studio claims to be all about community but it's a niche community. Either you're in or you're out. It worried me that it had a cult like feel and more felt exclusively for the incredibly elite. I wasn't pleased when the owner was gossiping about her disappointment about a student with a student indicating the party not present didn't believe enough or was trying hard enough. It wasn't encouraging and did not feel indicative of a quality yoga community. read more
