We were tent camping in Arches National Park and this was one of the recommended places to shower. We realized that this can be a nice activity to bring our 7 year old during the day , while staying cool in the hot summer weather. It is very well priced for a day pass but you have to check the hours for when the outdoor pool / water area is open (and for what ages) and when the indoor pool is open. We had a quick lunch at the park and let our kid play in the playground next door in the park. Then we went and paid for a day pass. we brought slides, towels, shower products. In the women's changing room, there were plenty of bathrooms, changing lockers (bring a lock, we didn't and it did feel safe for us to leave our stuff in one of the lockers), and 6 showers. We came during the week and didn't feel like it was crowded at all. The outdoor pool/ water area opened first and we waited an hour for the indoor pool (with a fast slide and diving area) opened up. The indoor pool water is much colder, while the water in the outdoor area is warmer (but not as deep). Afterwards, we enjoyed a nice well deserved shower. If you are going to shower, might as well enjoy the facilites while here. read more

This place is amazing! I come to Moab for all of April every year and I was worried about having a place to do my walking. My sister-in-law suggested the rec center and I love it. I come almost every day. Also, what better views could you have on a treadmill? The staff are consistently friendly. The facility (I only use the gym) is clean and very functional. read more

The pool was far too cold to actually enjoy getting in with my kids. I feel ripped off for wasting valuable vacation time here. We were told that the facility is under new administration and it was implied by employees and local patrons that this was the reason for the freezing water. Last summer we were able to enjoy the outdoor and indoor pool comfortably. I hope they fix this problem. So disappointing. read more

I was about to spend 35 bucks on a camp site just to use the showers. In one last ditch attempt to find a place I Googled "best place to shower in Moab" and this place popped up. Super friendly staff and very helpful. 5 bucks to take as long of a shower as you want. Clean bathrooms and sinks. 35 for an out of state month pass which may be worth it if you'll be here a while and want to shower daily. Definitely worth 5 bucks. read more

We stopped in here with our 4 yr old and 1.5 yr old, while visiting Moab, and it was amazing! It is a beautiful facility and definitely the best aquatic center we have ever been to. The outdoor kid area was perfect; it was just the right size and kept both kids very entertained. Both boys loved going down the small water slides outside and our 4 yr old has a blast going down the big water slide inside, ok mom and dad had fun on the big slide too. Whether you live in Moab or are just visiting, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun place to cool off and have some fun. I have only reviewed restaurants, but after spending two great days at this pool we just had to write a review to let the staff and admin know how unique and fun their pool is. Very inexpensive for a whole family to go, clean water, variety of activities including a Wibit on certain days. But the staff has the perfect amount of common sense, not overbearing like many pools can be. They keep the swimmers safe, didn't sweat the small stuff, and just overall made us feel like pools used to be. Do your kids a favor and check this place out, even for a few hours. I wish my city of over 100,000 people had a place half this nice for the community. read more

My boys loved this place and went back there everyday we were in town. It was $4 per child. The place we stayed at has a pool, but my boys would rather come here, due to the amenities. This place has an indoor/outdoor pool pool and plenty of sitting area. They only charged if you are using the facility, so we didn't have to pay. My sons really liked the lifeguards. The inside sitting area was kind of stuffy. When we went, there was a thunderstorm, so they closed the outdoor pool within 1/2 hour of our being there, so everyone was confined to the inside pool. The inside pool has 2 diving boards and a water slide. The lifeguards appeared to be attentive. read more

What a find! Spent two afternoons here during our trip to cool off and get some of the local culture. It's like being at a water park - tot area with slides, lazy river, water slide... plus indoor and outdoor options. You can even bring floaties and water toys. Staff were super nice. Hours are a little difficult to find online if you're not a local, so call ahead. And keep in mind that because there are SO MANY kids there you've really got to keep an eye out. read more

This place is garbage. I paid for a dink in the vending machine and it didn't give me anything. So I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. They said " the coke company is in charge of those." So she didn't give me any money back and was a big jerk about it too read more

Horrible, do not come here I put $2 in the vending machine and it did not work. Then I spoke to the lady at the front desk and she said "that's not our vending machine coke comes here and deals with it" she would not refund me my 2 dollars and was a total jerk about it. read more
