    Breakfast menu

Even though I've never stayed at the Radisson Inn, I must admit that I was immensely impressed with the decorum the second I walked into the lobby. However, I was not a guest here today. I merely came here to try their restaurant, Desert Pass, for breakfast. You see, this was one of those mornings where I did a random search the night prior for breakfast places I hadn't tried yet. I was in the neighborhood running errands and such and figured, "Why the hell not?" Hands down, this is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Everything was cooked to order, even the bacon; which, if you know me, I like my bacon well done. And they got it right the first time! Imagine that! From the pictures, you can tell I ordered The Traditionalist. Only two caveats I have about this dish is.. 1.) They don't give you buttered toast. 2.) The hash browns could use a bit of seasoning. But otherwise, this was a really nice breakfast plate. Not too filling, not underwhelming. On the bottom of their menu, you'll note everything is basically the same price. But they also apparently offer a free coupon to the folks that are actually guests at the hotel. This is huge because it basically means not only are they essentially offering you a free breakfast; it's also a REAL breakfast! I have been to SO many hotels that offer a complimentary breakfast bar that invariably sucks ass. Seriously, nearly all the breakfast bars I've sampled inside of hotels hold the reputation of being mediocre and basically just going through the motions. Desert Pass, however, is arguably the crème de la crème of what more upscale hotel breakfasts should be. The fact they even offer a coupon to guests is a bonus in my book. And it is for this reason...I'm giving Desert Pass 5 underrated diamond in the rough breakfast hot spots with complimentary WiFi out of 5. Oh, the coffee is pretty decent, too.

Stayed at the Radisson hotel for Thanksgiving and saw this restaurant was still open. To be honest, I did not have any exceptions for it. Well, the food turned out to be delicious. The price was reasonable, too. $20 for the Thanksgiving dinner including typical stuff with a slice of pumpkin pie. Everything was great, I especially liked the mashed potatoes and green beans. Fajitas ($16) was very good, too. We also ordered steak ($25), it was tender and delicious. Decor is minimal, service was friendly, food was good. Would recommend if you are nearby.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour, drinks, lounge, relax, chill vibe and decent food. Free breakfast for guests that's good. Simple menu but something to fill your belly. You'll be paying $10.00 on average per meal. Waiters are attentive and efficient, bartender always present after lunch. Spacey eating area with tables, booths or high chairs. Grab your food or drink and walk 50' to pool area. Place is a great option if in a rush and sticking close to hotel. Free wine or beer for guests from 4:30 - 6:30, 2 drinks free though with your option of wine or beer. Not always the best, but it's free to get your chill on.

Since I was with folks who grew up in the adjacent neighborhood we all appreciated the house being repurposed with thought and they have done a nice job turning into a quaint bar with a large patio area. Decor/vibe - 5* The overall vibe of this place is great. We visited on a weekend and there was a live jazz band, who were quite good though it is definitely loud inside during that time. If you have an Apple Watch it will complain to you about the dB registering over 85 for sustained periods of time. In this instance it was about 90-100 the entire time we were there. Throughout the inside there are tabletops with seating and standing, the bar is long without overcrowding the seating which is a nice touch for those sitting at the bar vs those simply trying to order a drink at the bar. There is plenty of area to stand or sit out on the patio as well and one can still hear the live band which makes for a great ambiance. I'd recommend the patio area as the vibe out there is great. There is a bar service area outside connected to the interior bar area though it was not actively setup when we visited. Well thought and makes service streamlined without running between patrons. Food & Drink - 4* The drinks we had were good though nothing on the menu is super "craft" cocktail if that's what you're after. The wine and beer selection is decent as well. Service - 5* The bartenders are very attentive and did a great job balancing the number of people without service times being too long. Pricing - 4* Subjective but IMO nothing is over the top and the service was quick. Overall - 4.5* This is a cute and quaint cocktail bar for those who may be in a group or just taking a date after a meal nearby. I'd recommend visiting and we will all certainly be back!
