I just had my garage roof insulated from Advanced Installation. Jake and his team are great. We are…read morein the desert, and it is 114 degrees outside now and my garage is very hot. I get a south and west facing sun. My unit is 50 years old and the wall between the back room and the garage is not insulated so the backroom gets warmer than the rest of the house. I contacted Advanced Installations in Indio, CA and they came out and did a great job. From what I can gather the garage temp is 5 to 10 degrees cooler. I will continue to monitor the temperature but I am very pleased with how the insulation was finished off. I had the R38 insulation with the fire retardant liner installed. The guys that worked on this are excellent....professional, hard working and know what they are doing. Advanced Installation made it a great experience!

Price was reasonable and the install was supposed to include removing my old fan. I'll admit I'm the dummy who didn't climb into the attic afterward to check their work, but come to find out, they never even removed the old fan. They just left it sitting up there tucked under the insulation. I called QuietCool and got transferred to customer support where nobody ever answered. Emailed them too. Nothing. The fan itself is fine, but if you buy a QuietCool, I'd definitely have someone else install it. And apparently check the attic when they're done.

He entertained all my ideas, questions and did not ever huff about it. Bottom line, when I was satisfied enough I went forward. I won't bore your with the details of what I did and why, but the services rendered are worth mentioning. Also, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH for peace of mind. Jesse is up front and trustworthy in my opinion. He's not a salesman and I found that out when I spoke to him. He is taking care of processing the rebate (which I have never had any luck doing) so I hope it goes better for him than for me. I had walls and attic done with the blown in cellulose. They were done about a month apart at my request. MARK - you are amazingly efficient and I could not say enough about you, except we need more people who work like you. Personally, I think he might be a cyborg which would be pretty cool and explain his non-stop work ethic (and what I think was an charging outlet in his neck... I'm not positive about that though.) Give this man a raise... whatever he is! The work was completed on time and as discussed. So far, I feel great about the choice I made and with summer coming this week, the real tests are about to begin. I'm not worried though. I have already referred one person who is going forward and you better believe I will continue to do so. This is not inexpensive, however extremely worthwhile home upgrade by any means (but is anything worthwhile really ever cheap?) and when you decide to do this one, you want a company that has your best interest in mind, while providing you with the right feedback and peace of mind. I have a short term rental in Palm Desert and the other night my guest called me to tell me the A/C wasn't blowing at all. I called Paul Mitchell's Air Care (at 9pm by the way), and I was told they could have a tech there within 20 minutes! And, the after hours additional charge was reasonable as well. When the tech arrived, he was able to fix the issue immediately. From Bree in the office to all the techs, everyone here is top notch. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. They're the best!!

By July, they admitted the unit was faulty unit and gave us a replacement, but the problems have continued nonstop. Less than a week after the install, we noticed a wet patch on our ceiling caused by faulty plumbing from the heat pump. Today, the blower motor began running continuously. They gave us a 10 AM to 12 PM window to fix it but didn't arrive until 2 PM--where one technician admitted they made a wiring and a second tech denied any errors on their part. They sent out 7 technicians and not one stayed to properly check and test the system before leaving. Nearly a year of continuous breakdowns and endless excuses. Look elsewhere if you value your time and money.

TruTeam was honest about the amount of time for a custom order but didn't try to add on anything extra. I paid them $750 while others wanted nearly $2,000. TruTeam is great at communicating and provides excellent onsite service. Thank you Bobby for doing such a great install.
