Good, but expensive service. The good: They responded quickly and were at my house in 2 hours. The tech diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes which was a bad capacitor. The bad: Ten minutes later, I was charged $487.00 for a $10.00 part which after research I discovered was exorbitant and felt, highway robbery. read more

This company is honest and trustworthy!! Within the last month, we called Comfort Air because of all their ads on TV and they came out and said our system was shot and corroded and needed to be replaced entirely. Systems cost between $10,000 and $15 000. Fortunately, our vacation manager at Poolside Rentals contacted Titan air and they came out and said all that was was a broken fan and charged us $1000. In this competitive HVAC industry - in this highly competitive market (Palm Springs / Coachella Valley) - Titan is a gem. This is a very fair - honest - quick - professional company. I was in a bind with a failing AC unit during a massive heat wave and Sergio and Ernie came out right away and diagnosed I needed a new AC unit. Yikes almighty! New AC units are super expensive and Sergio offered a solution that was seamless and quick. Sergio then thoughtfully offered his personal portable AC unit for me to use so I didn't cook in the heat overnight. Sweet! Titan - thank you! Always a difference between expertise and experience. Always a difference between professionalism and just personnel. Titan and Sergio are that difference, they have the expertise and the professionalism to identify the problem. You can have experience in HVAC, but without the passion you don't develop expertise. You can be the designated person asked to do the job to just give it whack, but not take ownership of the quality of your work. Titan was there and came to evaluate our compressor on a late Friday night on a three day weekend in 105 degree heat with 55% humidity when no other company on Yelp or elsewhere would return a call. I tried... I won't call out names, but the bigger names all failed the basic emergency test (Which is more important? Their Friday night beer or a customer in trouble). If you want expertise and professionalism, go Titan. When you can ask questions at 11pm on a dark and swampy night and get a response that shows they know what they are doing. None of the other vendors were interested in making the job look neat. My neighbor wanted a unit too, so we were able to organize a discount as a deal. The installation crew arrived when they said. Well of course my AC problem happened at 3:30 on the Friday before Memorial Day! I called Titan and they said they would send someone between 4 and 6. He showed up around 4:20, which was great. I had purchased an Amazon smart thermostat that was wonky. He spent more than an hour getting it to work. I so appreciated that he stuck with it on the Friday evening of a holiday weekend until he got it working. He was super nice and seemed very knowledgeable. Great job Titan!! read more

We are snowbirds and upon our return this fall, our AC was out and water heater was making all sorts of noise. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the Coachella Valley under any circumstances. Not because of a lack of technical skills, but because of the terrible customer service I received from the person who answered the phone--Diana. She was extremely aggressive, and the epitome of rude...completely classless. The conversation I had with Diana was shocking. Titan came and serviced my unit in June 2023, and refilled the Freon solution. They checked for leaks, and everything was OK until September 2024. I recently received a message from my property management saying my unit needed Feon and I was surprised as Titan had handled this not too long ago. I called Titan to get advice and see if someone could come out to check my AC unit; and what I received was no less than horrible customer service from Diana. I was also accused of not paying a bill of $69.00 that I never received an invoice for; although Diana did call me in the past notifying me of this invoice, but she called during the time we lost a family member, and I forgot to call back. Needless to say, be aware before calling this company. This was my experience and hopefully I can prevent the same from happening to another human. I was also told, that allegedly Diana's husband Sergio is the owner of the company and therefore she feels there is no recourse for treating people badly. Another company she had bought an extended warranty with completely tried to rip her off taking advantage of a widow.
