The owners of this shop are also genuinely nice and friendly people who put lots of care into heir business. When the time comes and I need to have some custom woodworking, Blue Pine will definitely be at the top of my list to contact.

All doors are hand made in house to the home owners specifications. Drawers are constructed of solid wood with both concealed and sliding French dovetails which makes for very strong construction. Our cabinetry is not just beautiful on the outside, our solid construction will last a lifetime. We only use the best to finish our cabinetry, and that is Steve Newman Fine Wood Finishing. Steve uses a furniture grade pre-catalyzed lacquer on our cabinetry which give a more luxurious finish that lasts longer and has a UVA/UVB component that prevents the lacquer from yellowing and the rich color of the wood from fading. Steve also does the smoothest, cleanest, and richest looking cabinet painting around. You will know quality when you see and feel the DL Drury difference.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with James, owner of Smitty Construction. James helped us complete three renovation projects: our kitchen, a full bath and a powder room. From the beginning timeline to the final walk-through (and follow-up visits) James was a pleasure to work with. He transparently communicated pricing and change orders, extended his professional discounts, and was just plain nice to have around the house for almost two months. All of his subcontractors were a pleasure to have around and spoke very highly of James. One even mentioned how he's one of the few contractors in Bend they will work with because of his honesty and follow-through. If you want a contractor you can trust, James is definitely the guy for you. We can't recommend him highly enough!

A…read morefriend recommended Precision Fine Finishing and I always trust word-of-mouth more than advertisment. Right off, I was impressed with Blair and Randy arriving on time to assess the stairs. Blair suggested testing a stair to find out which treatment would be best. One treatment was quite a bit more expensive than the other. I was impressed with their honesty when they chose the less expensive route. I have allergies to dust (eapecially smoke from the local fires, fumes from cleaning solvents and paint fumes), but they took care to mask off the staircase from the rest of the house and used fans to suck out dust and fumes. I came through it just fine because of their consideration. Each night they cleaned up their tools and stacked them neatly and out of the way. They started and finished the job in the time they estimated, masked off the stairs from the rest of the house to keep dust at a minimum, cleaned up at the end of each day, were considerate of my allergies, and honest about using a less expensive wood treatment. My stairs look better then when we moved in! I only thought it fair to pass on my very positive experience. Performance Fine Finishing at 541 233-8939 is the only number you need for wood finishing!
