When we finally decided on our carpet color and style, Patti Jo came to our home to measure and do her magic. She contacted us by email with a proposal. We then confirmed and our carpet was ordered. His only response to use was "find another contractor" Nothing was salvageable and it cost us an additional 81% of our downpayment to fix his mistakes and poor quality of work. He offered plenty of sob story excuses and no effort to fix his mess. Think long and hard about hiring Integrity Jack of all Trades. He has no integrity and poor quality workmanship. Buyer beware!

I knew we'd never be able to get a perfect match for a color that is no longer manufactured, but Sandra found several swatches that were pretty darn close. My husband squawked at the price (like he always does about everything... no reflection on Color Tile's prices), so Sandra showed us several less expensive options, which were not as close in color to the old carpet we are keeping (in the upstairs bedrooms), but were still colors that were close enough that it wouldn't be a jolting color change when walking from room to room. We will probably have to replace all the carpet in about a year, so we'll get something I love later. Anyway, Sandra took about an hour to help me decide which swatch was the closest color in the mid-price range. All the colors start to look the same after a while. She's fabulous.
