I initially visited and did research for carpeting brands/styles and color. I was up north and visited the Clackamas store for a greater selection of wood products to try and match existing wood floor surfaces. Because of the distance, waiting for samples and other things there just was not good progress made and I needed to move in within 30 days. The other day I was about to lose my mind as over two weeks had gone by without a viable solution. So, I switched strategy to replace all the wood instead of matching. I called the store and Kathy answered. When I explained my plight, she said "come in tomorrow and I will help you". I didn't know that the store here could work with getting materials where I needed them up north. Anyway, I spent 3 or more hours with Kathy. At the end and thru several fits and starts (out of stock items-namely), I walked out with my materials ordered and in progress. YAY! But, wait! I started having panic attacks about the product ordered and wanted to try to order something else. I called her the next morning, early, and asked if it could be done! She said "it looks like it, let me check and I will call you back". Lo and behold, I am now receiving my new, preferred wood option and am a happy camper! Kathy deserves all my gratitude as I tried to navigate a solution which seemed impossible (and stressful). She was extremely patient with a novice at flooring and helped keep me calm. The owners of this shop are also genuinely nice and friendly people who put lots of care into heir business. I found Gabe on Yelp when I literally only had 3 days to take care of the problem - 2 of which were weekend. Gabe was quick to communicate about his availability (including updates) and showed up as scheduled. The vanity situation was worse than expected but he stuck with it.
