You would think resolving an issue with previously warranted work would be relatively straightforward. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The first point of contact was Stephanie, and dealing with her was like pulling teeth. Her communication was consistently rude and unprofessional. On two occasions, information provided to us was simply not accurate, and that same misinformation was apparently relayed to Jason Severson, the owner, who was out of town at the time. I understand that people travel and take time away from work. However, when a customer has an unresolved warranty issue, some level of communication and follow through should still be expected. After waiting more than two weeks, Jason finally returned my call. Unfortunately, rather than taking the time to understand what had happened, acknowledge the frustration or make an effort to resolve the situation, he came into the conversation without having the facts straight. What followed was even more disappointing. The conversation was condescending, dismissive, and completely lacking in any meaningful effort to understand or address the underlying issue. Rather than taking ownership and trying to find a resolution, Jason spoke down to me and ultimately hung up on me. Let that sink in. This is the owner of the company. Customer service starts with the first person who answers the phone, and it certainly doesn't improve when the matter reaches ownership. Mistakes happen. Warranty issues happen. What distinguishes a reputable business is how it responds when something goes wrong. In our experience, neither the initial customer service nor the owner's response demonstrated the professionalism, accountability, or basic courtesy that customers should expect. I'm leaving this review because I believe other homeowners in our community deserve to know what our experience was like before choosing this company. I would not recommend Severson Plumbing & Mechanical. The issue itself was frustrating, but the way we were treated throughout the process was ultimately what made this experience so disappointing.

To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! We met Chad and he was so helpful. He explained the pros and cons of each material and left us to look at samples. He brought us a drawer from his cabinet, which was close to our kitchen cabinets, so we could see how the countertop would look. We found exactly what we were looking for, and right there, Chad entered our dimensions and provided an estimate. He let us borrow the sample so we could see it in our home and match a tile backsplash. Chad thoroughly explained the process from order to install. We were assigned a project manager who communicated every step of the way and the process went very quickly and very smoothly. Chad steered us in a direction for vendors to complete our kitchen redo. Upon install we discovered that our sink, purchased from Precision as well, was missing the drain accessories and our plumber was coming the next day to connect everything.
