Iced latte & iced chai tea latte
Makenzie L.

Stopped here for brunch while doing some shopping & it was amazing!! Quick, friendly service with a pretty decent menu to choose from, lots of options! We came in on a Saturday around 11:30 and it wasn't too busy. I got the grilled cheese and potato wedges, both were delicious! My fiancé got avocado toast with egg and a side of bacon & he raved about the avocado toast! He also got an iced chai latte which I tried & was delicious and I ordered an iced latte which was also yummy! Their baked goods looked amazing too, but we were too full to try any. Highly recommend & will be back in the future!

Small and charming. There's only a few tables. Great service. The food was outstanding. Order a cream stick. You won't be disappointed.

We purchased a piece of cherry crumb pie today and there was a long black hair in the pie. Ewww. Had to throw it out!

While spending the day exploring Amish Country, we made a stop at Kauffman's Country Bakery in…read moreMillersburg, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted by the amazing smell of fresh bread and baked goods. Everywhere you look there's another display filled with pies, cookies, donuts, pastries, and homemade breads. If you have a sweet tooth, good luck leaving with just one thing! I couldn't resist picking up two of their huge fry pies along with a peanut butter Long John, and they were every bit as good as they looked. The fry pies were packed with filling and had a perfectly flaky crust, while the peanut butter Long John was loaded with creamy peanut butter filling and was incredibly fresh. My wife couldn't stop talking about their cinnamon twist. She said it was one of the best she's ever had--soft, buttery, perfectly sweet, and full of cinnamon flavor. I have a feeling we'll be making a special trip back just so she can get another one! The staff was friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and there were plenty of Amish-made jams, noodles, candies, cheeses, and other local products to browse while we were there. If you're visiting Millersburg, Berlin, or anywhere in Ohio's Amish Country, make sure Kauffman's Country Bakery is on your list. Come hungry, because everything looks amazing, and don't be surprised if you leave with a box full of treats for the ride home. We definitely will be back!

I visited in July 2025 with some friends. We were visiting Ohio Amish country for the day and…read moredecided to stop by this store. My friends really wanted to visit the Guggisberg cheese factory but they were closed for the day. This store offers not only cheese but other smaller grocery and household items such as butter, apple butter, mugs, t-shirts, etc. I don't like cheese so I didn't buy any cheese. My friends may have bought small cheese blocks but I can't remember. They did sample some cheese which they liked. MY PURCHASES -- I bought an Italian bread dipping mix which is a small tin of herbs. I finally tried the dip in April 2026 by adding olive oil the dipping bread in it. The spice mix is too strong so I don't like it that much and I don't believe it was made locally. I also bought Apple butter which is locally made and tastes good. The Apple butter is too sweet for me though so I've hardly eaten it but it goes well with toast. If you're in the area, stop by this local store. The back of the store is cute because of a little fountain and a well-kept lawn. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 87/250 total reviews in 2026 - 928 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 19 May 2026

They are apparently now one of the largest manufacturers of swiss cheese in the US. When you enter, there is a shop which is a combination of gift shop, cheese accessories and grocery items. There is signage that shows off their awards, talks about some of their history and also takes about the difference between regular and baby swiss. The deli where you can get freshly sliced cheese is in the back. The clerks were extremely friendly answering questions and providing samples of anything you want to try. Much like the outside, the inside continues the swiss theme. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the space itself. It was really congested even though it wasn't really all that crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like on a busier day. J don't know what, if anything can be done about this that, but it definitely can be hard yo navigate if you have mobility issues or don't like crowds. Oh and the cheese hats are a fun nice touch.
