I feel like there is something for everyone here! My husband thought the Dutch apple pie was out of this world. I thought it was different because it was chopped oats. We were not a huge fan of the chocolate chip cookies, the texture kinda got me, and the chocolate chips were an interesting flavor. My mom thought the pecan tarts were so yummy. I could literally taste how fresh and homemade that dough was, I thought it was very good as well, but probably would try something else instead next time. The cinnamon roll was interesting because I thought it was a lot more Joey than we used to and it had an icing on top. I actually really liked it. I am not someone that likes the super glazed sweet stuff so this was the right amount for me. My husband and I were not huge fans of the Fry pies. They were glazed, which is a personal preference. But the filling was just too much for me, I like more writing than filling, especially in the middle. It was a little overwhelming. I also felt like they were filled with more of the canned stuff rather than fresh bc of the consistency. The fresh sourdough bread was out of this world. I'd definitely recommend getting a bread loaf!!!

We have tried many baked goods in the area and I have to say the glazed donuts were one of the best I have had. So light, pillowy and full of flavor. I was not so much a fan of the chocolate chip cookies, but my family loved the molasses and ginger cookies.

Staff at the farm and in the farm stand were all friendly. Although the place was busy, there was next to no waiting to get up close and personal with the animals or walk around inside the market. Our visit was mostly the gift shop and grocery store. The grocery store was a great stop for snacks. They had some delicious pies. At least the cheese and blackberries one I had was delicious. And since the crust is great, I would imagine they were solid choices. They had a nice selection of Amish popcorn and maple treats too. The gift shop is large and has a good selection of items. The yard decor and patio furniture were all fairly impressive. Some things were even Buckeyes themed! The leather goods were the other highlight. I thought the rucksacks were great and had me wishing I could take a hobbit adventure But, the highlight for my sister was a real/ nice belt that she is excited about. My highlight was the pecan turtle I had for dessert. It's a great spot in Amish country and the service was very pleasant.

This is an old style diner with some counter seating and quite a few tables. They do not take names, so you just have to stand in line and wait your turn to be seated. This process was different for us but it went really well as we had probably 3-4 small groups ahead of us but were seated within less than 10 minutes. The service was very timely but not overbearing. We had drinks and our order taken probably with 5 minutes of being seated which was very nice. We got our food within probably 10-12 minutes of ordering which I thought was really good given how busy it was. As for the food, it was all very good. I had the biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and a sausage patty all of which was very good. The sausage is their own recipe which was a little less seasoned than most but it was a very good patty. My wife had her usual eggs over easy, bacon and toast and she liked it all. The bacon was a thicker cut applewood smoked which was tremendous (she let me try it). We may try it for lunch or dinner if/when in the area again. I would definitely recommend this for breakfast if you are in the area.

Everything like traditional cheddar and swiss to more unique options like veggie, and buffalo wing. Most of the cheese had samples. It was a perfect way to get a sense of the differences between some of the varieties (standard vs smoked vs aged for example). Most cheese could be purchased in blocks, slices and cubes. They also had some beef stick options, dips and cheese fudge. I had never heard of cheese fudge before so was very intrigued. It had a different texture and flavor than traditional fudge but was definitely worth trying. They also have traditional fudge on the other side of the store. There were workers behind the counter actively packing cheese and willing to answer any questions you might have. Much like other tourist attractions, you have to walk through the gift shop to get to the cash registers. The line was kind of long, but it moved fairly quickly. They are apparently now one of the largest manufacturers of swiss cheese in the US. When you enter, there is a shop which is a combination of gift shop, cheese accessories and grocery items. There is signage that shows off their awards, talks about some of their history and also takes about the difference between regular and baby swiss. The deli where you can get freshly sliced cheese is in the back. The clerks were extremely friendly answering questions and providing samples of anything you want to try. Much like the outside, the inside continues the swiss theme. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the space itself. It was really congested even though it wasn't really all that crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like on a busier day.
