Stopped in at the Cracklin Pig on their first day of business. Wow. Clean and Organized. Friendly staff! I wanted one of everything. So many Pork Rinds and Kettlekorn and cotton candy and fudge and nuts and so much more. I look forward to stopping back and having Velvet Ice Cream. This place is a great place to Start while exploring Berlin Main Street area. Park and Walk.

Perfectly organized and full of yummy goodness

I wish we had more little shops like this out west. Truly, a delight. If you've ever been to Berlin, you know you have to check out the unique Amish charm that makes Main Street what it is. For me, this spot takes the cake. The owners are delightful, hard working and warm. The entire staff could not have been nicer. They allowed me to sample the fudge after I was torn on two, and I will absolutely be back the next time I am in town. The place is pristine, clean and smells absolutely delicious and everything was made with heart and love - what more can you ask for!

This is an old style diner with some counter seating and quite a few tables. They do not take names, so you just have to stand in line and wait your turn to be seated. This process was different for us but it went really well as we had probably 3-4 small groups ahead of us but were seated within less than 10 minutes. The service was very timely but not overbearing. We had drinks and our order taken probably with 5 minutes of being seated which was very nice. We got our food within probably 10-12 minutes of ordering which I thought was really good given how busy it was. As for the food, it was all very good. I had the biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and a sausage patty all of which was very good. The sausage is their own recipe which was a little less seasoned than most but it was a very good patty. My wife had her usual eggs over easy, bacon and toast and she liked it all. The bacon was a thicker cut applewood smoked which was tremendous (she let me try it). We may try it for lunch or dinner if/when in the area again. I would definitely recommend this for breakfast if you are in the area.

There is usually a line but they do their best to get people in and out the best they can. They accept cash only. The dining area is always neat and clean. Everything like traditional cheddar and swiss to more unique options like veggie, and buffalo wing. Most of the cheese had samples. It was a perfect way to get a sense of the differences between some of the varieties (standard vs smoked vs aged for example). Most cheese could be purchased in blocks, slices and cubes. They also had some beef stick options, dips and cheese fudge. I had never heard of cheese fudge before so was very intrigued. It had a different texture and flavor than traditional fudge but was definitely worth trying. They also have traditional fudge on the other side of the store. There were workers behind the counter actively packing cheese and willing to answer any questions you might have. Much like other tourist attractions, you have to walk through the gift shop to get to the cash registers. The line was kind of long, but it moved fairly quickly. This was a great stop with a lot of tasty products. Definitely recommend a visit!
