I would most definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for the same! The girls working the counter were very polite and helpful. They handed us both our coffees before we were even finished paying. We both ordered a panini: I had the ham and Swiss, she had the veggie panini. They were the perfect size where I wasn't stuffed but I wasn't wishing I had more. They were nothing fancy but they were perfect and light for a simple lunch! There is plenty of seating and natural light in the front. There is also a back room with significantly more seating if you have a larger group or if the restaurant is especially busy. read more

Love this spot! It is our first stop any time we're in Amish country. There is usually a bit of a line but it moves fairly quickly and is worth the wait. They have new drink specials every month and a full menu of tasty coffee (and non-coffee) beverages all the time, as well as hot breakfast and lunch offerings. My husband loves their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on the pretzel bread and their avocado toast is usually pretty solid. All drinks we've had have been good too! They also have several non dairy options l which I always appreciate. It is nice inside and a good place to hang out and the service is always friendly. We were on vacation visiting the area and decided to come here. This place is on the main street so you can't miss it. There's a giant coffee cup in front. The coffee shop was pretty big. There's also a back room area. I ordered a caramel latte iced. It's the best cold coffee I have ever had. It was creamy and caramel was perfect. This drink is a must if you come here. A great coffee shop in the heart of downtown Berlin! My husband and I went there to grab some coffee to go to start off our day. There's plenty of spacious seating indoors for those that want to stick around, and also some seating outdoors. They have a great coffee menu, including some pour overs and aero press coffee. On top of that, there are power bowls, and bagels, avocado toasts, etc. my husband ordered an iced latte flavored and I got a pour over coffee. The latte was a tad sweet even with sweetener cut in half, and the pour over coffee was okay. But still good coffee and would def go back again. Coffee prices are average but food prices are fairly reasonable. Hope to visit again some day in the future :) read more

The creamer station has both cinnamon and honey as well. This is a very spacious coffee house so a great place to take a break if shopping or duck on out of the rain for awhile. Such a cute place! We were so pleasantly surprised by the vegan options- they have a few things that are easily made vegan such as a mushroom wrap and a quinoa/lentil bowl. They had two vegan ice cream options and three different plant based milks for drinks. The flavors in the food were so bold and delicious and the staff was so kind! This is more of a coffee house than a restaurant even though they have plenty of very special sandwiches. It's right on the corner of the busiest block in Berlin so we consider it a "must stop by" destination. You can get a great coffee (including cold brew, which is not on the overhead menu board) plus a snack to tide you over until your next meal. The windows are huge, so they're perfect for people watching and the couches and chairs are so comfortable that you might fall asleep. We love this place quite a bit and so does everyone else who visits it. read more

But the coffee here ended up being quite good, and they had a heck of a selection I was very pleased with. Yes sometimes they may be out of the thing you wanted, it's not the Establishments fault they most likely ordered it but where they order it from may be out of stock. All the girls an management are very FRIENDLY an HELPFUL. There is NO ROOM or time for rude or negative comments. These girls are SO BUSY picking up the slack of an absence employee or being short staffed?. There is alot of customers an SO many staff members, staff deserves MORE RESPECT then people give them. Each girl wants to make sure you have all that you ordered an a clean table to eat on. If there is a problem with your order they have NO PROBLEM making it right for you, if they are busy an can't get to you right away please be patient, so they can get caught up. read more

I'm really not a fan of coffee. I drink it because it's warm and I've never sipped a coffee drink that I absolutely loved and needed to come back to--until I waltzed into Ginger House and Coffee. The coffee was excellent and during our stay we stopped in twice. We were visiting Berlin and were delighted to find such an excellent coffee house. It's a relaxing atmosphere to sip and chat. I went here for espresso 6 days in a row while I was cycling in the area. It's a great stopping point at the top of the hill. The espresso was great, their cream sticks are good (and enormous!), the black cherry ice cream is amazing, and the staff was always friendly. It is one of the few places in the area with a real espresso machine. read more

Just arrived in Berlin this evening and stopped in for a frappe with my friend. After our order was taken we stood off to the side and waited and waited and waited all the while watching our empty cups sitting on the back counter as orders taken after ours were filled to those who were obviously from the community as they wore the amish/mennonite attire. I stepped up and let them know we were still waiting and finally our drinks were made. They were very good however customer service to the visitor or as you call the Englisher was very rude. When you show favoritism it is not loving thy neighbor... the ones who spent their money in your establishment just like those who visit regularly. Extremely disappointed in this behavior. BTW someone who ordered several people after us was given their order of 4 in a drink carrier... we were beyond patient. We will find somewhere else who doesn't discriminate. read more

Stop for coffee every few weeks. The coffee is great and the atmosphere has really been improving over the past few months. The food is great and the coffee is fresh every time!! The Sun dried tomato sandwich is wonderful and my go to drink is always a white mocha. Both splendid! The last time (just before Christmas) I stopped in, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. This time (1.9.15) however, it seemed that they were a bit bothered to have to take someone's order. The girl on register was not confident at all in what she was doing, but was not helped by the other employee. Love going here and hate to see it go down hill.
