Moving is never fun. But, having Ali, Alex, Suleiman, and Mubin navigate the process for us made it much smoother than any move we've done before. First of all, Ali was an amazing team leader. He was friendly, communicated clearly with us, and kept his team working hard. He constantly checked in with me to ensure the work was on track. The team worked together seamlessly. They were prompt - showing up just when they said they would and calling ahead to make sure we were ready. They were professional and courteous - asking where we wanted everything to go and checking with us to make sure items were placed and assembled correctly. They were also careful, wrapping the fragile items so carefully and moving our bulky furniture so precisely that not a wall or doorway was dinged or scratched. They also were so amendable to the many last-minute changes -- can we actually move the sofa to the other wall? -- that we threw at them. The scheduling process with Sasha was really smooth. We had a detailed two-part move, and she was so pleasant to work with to make sure everything was in place. First, we scheduled a zoom-style estimation process, so we could clearly understand what items needed to move for each of our two moves. Sasha was great at following up to make sure we could get the dates we needed for moving and for making sure we went over all the details so that the moving dates would go as smoothly as possible. We've had movers in the past who were careless with our items or who cursed like drunken sailors. These guys did neither of that -- they were hard-working and professional. I asked them to move the same rug two different times, and they smiled and did it. We interviewed two other moving companies, and we definitely made the right choice going with Dependable Movers. These guys are awesome. Ali, Nusrod, and Tokhtar were our moving team, and honestly, they made the whole thing look easy. First off, Ali is a moving wizard or something. He came up with this whole plan for our move and it went off without a hitch. We basically didn't have to do anything. They packed up most of our house, and I'm still not sure how they got everything to fit in the truck so well and so fast, even though there was an elevator involved. They were super careful with our stuff, especially the religious items, which meant a lot to us. Even though we were leaving our old place, they treated it like it was still our home - super respectful. And for things like TVs, mirrors, you name it, there was a special box or blanket for it. They reallt went above and beyond. They helped us get rid of some big items we didn't need anymore. They even hung up the clothes for me in the closet lol. When it started to rain on they just switched things up and kept our stuff dry. Everything arrived safe and sound, and they even figured out where to put all the boxes and furniture in the new place. They took apart and put back together furniture like it was nothing, even the tricky stuff. Mike was awesome too, the guy we booked with. Adjare Gudju On an overcast day in May my wife and i finally made our move from one side of the bay to the other. With way too much to worry about between new jobs and a move that we had way too much stuff for we decided to go with movers. We heard some stories about moving companies and were hesitant but after seeing some amazing reviews for this company we took our chances. Day of the move we got a call as they were on their way saying get ready for the best move ever. THEY DID NOT LIE! Ali, the team leader communicated with us and his team making sure everyone was on the same page and working as efficiently as possible while simultaneously taking the care needed with our stuff. Bair and Moises were the remaining part of the team that made this amazing process a breeze. Efficient, kind and constantly confirming what was expected or needed, this for sure was worth every penny to make this move stress free. They even got an executive desk into a room with a tight hallway and small door. We had a large glass topper to the desk that we were concerned about but they packed it very well to arrive safely. For our bedroom we had a king size bed and mechanical frame that they took the time to wrap well and put exactly where needed. They even provided a good laugh or two along the way. Dependable movers were incredible. Ali and his team shows up promptly and graceful navigated our buildings old elevator and busy San Francisco street. They efficiently loaded up our boxes and then took great care with all our smaller furniture that needed to be boxed. They paid extra attention to removing couch legs and breaking down our bed. Ali, Adaham, Djey and Yura were INCREDIBLE carrying up all of our stuff in Berkeley. Our house sits on a hill and has 3 flights of stairs just to the front so the crew had their work cut out for them! Nick, Sergey, and Sergey did a full service move for us from San Francisco up to Seattle and they did a great job! They did a four person packing job with three people because someone was sick at the last minute, but still got everything done within the quoted time. Moving in was also relatively fast and smooth, even though they only had two people for that part (only two people fit in the truck for the drive north). Our stuff was well packed and arrived in good condition. We had gotten a quote for a similar move the year before (but postponed because of Covid) that was much lower than the estimate they gave us this time around. When I pointed this out, the manager Gulia was really great about working with us to get the price closer to the lower quote. Dependable Movers was also able to accomodate us changing our move-in date and storing our stuff for a few days before moving up to Seattle.
