The movers showed up right on time wearing masks and were efficient and worked with my timing and budget. I believe the names were Alex and Roman, and they did a great job. Not a single scratch or mishap, with great communication and reasonable prices. I messaged a bunch of movers in the area, and this company not only responded right away but ended up having the cheapest quote as well even when I called or got messages from a few more. I was able to book them for a Sunday with one week notice during prime pandemic moving season. read more

We've used several moving companies in the past and Dependable Movers was by far the most professional, efficient, and communicative. Yelaman, Sula, and Mergen (our crew) were fantastic in every aspect, even though we didn't have air conditioning in the new house yet and it was almost 90° outside! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a moving company for their move. A+++ read more

Fast, Easy, and Efficient. Not to mention SUPER friendly and easy on the eye ;) Gulia was immediately responsive, patient and knowledgeable. Her quote was accurate and the service was executed exactly as explained. She even spoke to me the night before around 9 pm to quell my anxiety over moving our 40 gallon fish tank. Sergey, Sergey, and Murat arrived promptly at 9:30 am as scheduled and quickly went about assessing the situation. We were moving a 2nd floor LARGE 1 bedroom unit, Storage unit, and heavy wooden furniture down a 100 year old service elevator and out to the street. Without a blink, they went right to work. By 2 pm they had loaded the truck with over 150 boxes of packed items, 20 pieces of furniture, Mattresses, bikes, weights, shelving...and finally, the (10) 5 gallon buckets of fish! Once home, they unloaded like lightning in about 2 hours! Despite HEAVY smoke AND COVID-19, they rocked it out. I can guarantee you that you will be extremely impressed and happy with the service and care you get from Dependable Movers. Thank you for making this epic move mindless! -Mike and Miguel read more

We had an amazing experience with Dependable Movers during our move within the city in the middle of the holidays. The estimate was quick and easy and the help we received in both packing and moving was exceptional. It was a great peace of mind that we had such a reliable team helping us out. I wish I had asked for their names to give them a shoutout but I'm horrible about that and missed it. Either way would highly recommend them. They took care of the move in a highly efficient and professional manner. Thanks team! read more

Max and his colleague communicated clearly and in a timely manner when they were going to arrive at our Oakland public school with our special delivery...79 donated BMX bikes, helmets and bike locks! Max and his colleague worked hard and with a smile negotiating our school parking lot, unloading our delivery amongst students and their families and volunteer helpers. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Dependable Movers... especially with Max as the lead! read more

These guys live up to their name. They showed up on time and they worked their asses off to get us out of an 3rd floor, San Francisco walk-up and into a house in San Rafael. They disassembled and reassembled all of our beds and were meticulous about packing our fragile artwork and antiques. Best of all, they were kind and personable. My movers will always be Dependable! Thanks guys. read more

Friendly service. Movers were careful and efficient. Polite and flexible. They came with all materials needed for a safe move. Thank you!

Great, friendly & respectful work completed by two handy men that completely knew how to disassemble, pack everything up, & drive it to my new residence. After they arrived, they carefully unloaded my furniture, took my items up the elevator (5 stories) & reassembled all my furniture, moving the items around to place the items in areas I like & to make them all fit in my new, smaller apt residence. These workers were dependable & I highly recommend their service to others. I used another moving service company when I moved to my last place in Oct. 2020 (during the heat of pandemic), but Dependable Movers were 100% better. read more

Yelaman , Tokhtar , Zhalgas & Andrei were great in our 2 days packing & loading trucks on 4/30 & 5/1... Very helpful about the move process, courteous and polite. They did a great job wrapping and protecting all fragile items, handling heavy items without damaging floors or walls. Overall, a very well job done. Thank you. :-) read more

I've made quite a few moves in my life and all I can say is that Oleg and Sergei from Dependable Movers are the epitome of professionalism, efficiency, responsiveness and their general attitude. On-time, and careful, it was quite simply a joy to watch them work with such cohesiveness. I cannot recommend this company any more and in particular, this duo. They will reduce the stress of moving and this is something all of us need at such a time. Thank you Oleg and Sergei, you two are such an asset to Dependable Movers, SF. PS: the estimate the company gave initially was spot-on by the way and their prices are most reasonable. read more

Yelaman and Bakha were our movers for some big office equipment and took care in making sure the delicate items were boxed and wrapped. The contracting process was easy and transparent. Would use them again for future moving. read more

Dependable movers helped us move a one bedroom apartment a month ago - while moving wasn't fun to begin with, we also had to move during the pandemic, I was pretty stressed - but the movers and Gulia who managed our move made everything so much easier, everything went smoothly, I didn't need to stress about the move at all with them! (I wish I had written this earlier bc now I can't remember the movers names. I'm writing this now since a friend asked for mover rec and reminded me of them). I've moved a few times over the past few years with different movers and I would move with them again. Their quotes are reasonable. The manager Gulia was very responsive and helpful before the move (with all my questions over emails and calls, and she took notes so the movers were aware. We were also moving into a big condo with HOA rules and requirements, Gulia was able to provide documents and info needed). The two movers we had were awesome- they showed up right on the dot, took note of what we asked, moved everything, got all our stuff to the new apartment efficiently and smoothly. They were pros- we've had movers before who took a lot of time deciding which box to take, how to wrap big furniture, etc- these movers were the opposite, they were very efficient with knowing which boxes/furniture pieces to take and how to stack into the truck etc. The apt we were moving out of was on ground floor and they could park right outside so that made it easier, the new apt had a loading doc and elevator so that may have been the reason why moving in took a little longer. They still finished within a few hours (half the time it took with the moving company I had in the last move). The only thing I would say is, if you have specific furniture pieces you want them to wrap with blankets, be sure to ask. We asked specifically for our glass table and mirror (which they probably would've done anyway without us asking) but we had a wooden desk and shelves that would've been nice to be wrapped (we didn't ask but probably could have) bc they can be scratched during the move - ours had some minor scratches but it's not a big deal. We had movers in the past who'd wrap all furniture pieces with blankets without asking, and that was nice. Overall, they were very pleasant to work with (I wish I remember the movers' names), can't thank them enough for moving during the pandemic, and we were glad we had gone with them. I was slightly skeptical before seeing all the 5 star reviews, but now I know why. read more

Sergei and Sergei arrived promptly and jumped right into doing the work. We found them polite, attentive, and knowledgeable how to move things carefully by wrapping them up. They were proactive seeing that the boxes we labeled belongs in particular rooms and stayed focus the entire move. I'm very glad I went with Dependable Movers it was affordable, quick, and painless. read more

Dependable Movers provides great communication and timely arrival, so important to me when delegating a move. They brought plenty of packing supplies including boxes for random smaller items that weren't boxes which was a happy surprise. The office was available on a Saturday to discuss a situation that arose so we were able to make a on-the-spot decision about moving a hot tub. Mark and his team were very professional and worked so, so hard! Thank you so much! read more

We opted to go with Dependable Movers - San Francisco as a referral from our realtor that sold our home. From the beginning, they were very responsive, answered the many questions we had at various times before and after signing the agreement. Carlos, Max and Giulia are a great team and work efficiently and effectively to get any mishaps resolved. We did an out of state move between two households, the team showed up on time at the first location. Worked diligently to get the truck loaded. Arrived at the second location (just a few blocks away) and began the process of loading that location onto the truck. Once that was completed, they confirmed the day we wanted the truck to arrive at the new location. They arrived as they said they would, on the selected day and time! The crew worked just as diligently to unload the truck and place boxes and furniture where we wanted. They assisted in setting up furnishings and unboxing/ wrapping items that they had assisted with packing, such as large mirrors and beds. All in all they were an absolutely fantastic company and team to work with, and highly recommended! read more

It was my first time using movers. Great, quick movers. From receiving my quote from Gulia to working with the movers, they made the process as painless as possible. Movers wore masks the whole time and were attentive and careful with my belongings. They were quick, but not careless. read more

Dependable Movers is truly a top notch moving company. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety with my move to San Francisco from Burlingame, but Sergey and Sergey made the entire moving process so smooth! Upon arrival at my apartment in Burlingame, they were very quick and courteous in understanding what needed to be moved. They were very careful and considerate, yet quick and efficient in packing up all of my belongings. When moving my belongings into my new apartment in San Francisco, they were again very quick and efficient in moving all of my belongings (including large couches, a heavy desk, 20+ boxes), despite elevator issues up to the 3rd floor. Rates were very reasonable, especially if you pay with cash. 11/10 service. Highly recommend this moving company. Will definitely work with them for my next move. read more

I highly recommend Dependable Movers! They helped us with our move on July 1st, and everything went really smoothly. Gulia, the business manager, was super friendly and very helpful from the very start! Three movers (Aidyn, Sergei, and Sergei -- yup, there were 2 guys with the same name) helped us with our move across SF. They arrived on time; they were efficient; and they took great care of our furniture. It's all I could ask for. My only piece of feedback for the actual movers is to bring box cutters to every job site. They asked us twice if we had a knife or scissors to cut the plastic wrapping they used to cover our dining chairs. We packed everything, so we had to borrow scissors from the building front desk. Not a huge deal though. They still did a great job for us! Will definitely hire them again. read more

We hired Dependable Movers for moving into our new place. We had quite a bit of stuff but Ali, Buyan, and Anthony were super quick, careful with all our belongings (not a single thing damaged!!) and placed everything where we had requested. Not to mention communication was top notch leading up to the move and during our move. It was such a relief to know our things were taken care of and that we didn't have to monitor or provide too much instruction - they took care of it all. Not to mention there isn't a single scuff on the walls or the floors. 10/10 would book them again! Thanks guys! read more

Baur and Max did such an incredible job. They unloaded my Pod really quickly, and made great time getting across the Bay. They made the move so much less stressful than moving usually is, because they really know what they're doing, and they're really efficient in the way they load and unload. They're absolute professionals. They were also so thoughtful about arranging my packed belongings in the apartment such that I could still access them, and when they noticed that my bed frame got a little banged up in the Pod during transit (previously), they took the time to sort it out and assemble it for me. We started a bit later than our planned time, but they gave me a heads up yesterday, and everything is a little harder during COVID, so it was really no big deal. It was also pretty sweet that Dependable Movers doesn't (at least in my case) do any weird stuff with the rates and fees, so the final cost is really predictable. Totally worth every cent. read more

I want to begin with saying I highly recommend Dependable Movers for anyone who is looking for a mover in and around San Francisco/Bay area! Getting a quote and setting an appointment with Gulia was smooth and hassle-free! Everything was clear, communication was prompt and courteous. Even before the actual move has begun I already knew that things were going to move smoothly and I didn't have to worry about anything. And that's exactly what happened! The day of the move, the movers came on time. I've been informed by text message followed by a call so I knew that they were on their way. Movers were wearing a mask and they have maintained a safe distance as much as possible. They were very careful wrapping and moving big and small pieces and had everything we needed for the move. Everyone in the crew were very friendly, courteous, careful and fast. I can't say enough that everyone from front office to staff that does the physical work were all great people and the experience lessened the stress of moving that day. I hope you decide to hire them for your move and have the same experience that I had! Thank you Dependable Movers!!! read more

The crew we had was fabulous to work with. They were reliable and very communicative at all times. What we thought might take 8 hours actually took 11 and 12 hours each day. We had a ton to pack and move. They were gentle with everything and carefully packed. They made our move easier. read more

Final Price was LOWER than the Moving Estimate ! We switched apartments in San Francisco. The team of movers was so focused and hard working, they actually finished the job sooner. So we ended up paying less than the original estimate. All the furniture was safely transported, we had no issues. The team was very friendly and easy to communicate with! The pre-moving process was also smooth, the company even provided us with a COI (insurance doc) to present to the HOA of the new building. I will def use Dependable Movers again. read more

Dependable Movers moved my 2b2b condo to a single family home in East Bay. Overall, working with this company was one of the best moving experiences I've ever had. The reservation experience was delightful. I loved the modern approach of email back-and-forth and confirmation through an online portal. Gulia was professional, sharp, and super easy to work with. The actual move was handled perfectly by Sergei, Sergei, and Envor. They were professional, took great care of our things, and kept us organized during a stressful move. We had chosen Dependable Movers based on the reviews here on Yelp and we are so glad we did this. We were quoted for 6 hours and the team finished in 4! The team showed up on time and ready to go, and even moved all of our stuff during a rain storm. Mark and his crew were extremely professional, and dealt with some tricky bulky items without damaging anything! The most relaxed move I've ever been a part of primarily because of Mark and his amazing crew. They were considerate, fast, and extremely knowledgable and helpful. sScheduled this move about a month ago. My contact helped me with the planning, ensuring we reviewed the quote and were satisfied, we were. As we neared the moving date, Dependable Movers we're in constant communication. The day of, they let me know they were on there way. Our movers were rock stars, no nonsense, no wasted time, they hustled all day. We've moved about 8 times in our lives and Dependable Movers by far, set the bar. Hard working and honest. We had a big move for a 2 bedroom within the city. It was spread over 2 days, packing on the first day and moving and unpacking on the second. Max, Tim, and Nick were our team for the move and unpack and they were super impressive. We had to get our stuff up a tight staircase including our not-small couch. Our new apartment was on a classic, steep, San Francisco hill. They got everything upstairs and unpacked safely and efficiently. read more

The movers arrived on time. The first stop was to pick up a grill and table from my friends' flat and drop off in my garage. My wife and I just finished our move from Fremont to SF and the moving team from Dependable Movers was incredible. We had almost 100 boxes of just books, along with several heavy pieces of furniture and they tackled everything with aplomb. The company was also incredibly responsive when we had to push our move back several weeks because of illness, and were both kind and professional with everything throughout the whole process.
