They probably had too many jobs scheduled for the same time and from what Alvaro said would be a 3-day job turned into a 5-day job. The extended time would not have been bad if it was for my house, but most times they did not work the full day on my job -- they even went to a neighbor who asked for help and were gone 3+ hours. First day they showed up late, left to go get something, start something else, etc. Old windows taken out and the boss was putting in a piece in one frame I noticed was split so asked if they were going to put a piece of damaged wood back (which he was doing by the way) and then he immediately asked for a new piece. When the job was "completed" and while they were cleaning up, I took a cursory look and paid the final payment. That's where my problems began. The next day, I checked the job in a different light and found botched crack repair on a new windowsill, caulking not done on some of the inside windows and already cracking on some of the new sills and nail sticking out from bottom of one sill. I called the boss, who was probably tired of hearing from me so he sent his worker out who caulked, but did not remove the nail or repair the windowsill. Bottom line here is the boss was supposed to come last Saturday and repair the problems at 9:00 a.m. He didn't call; he didn't come. I called him on Monday. Scheduled to come on 7/24 between 9 and 9:30 a.m. He didn't call; he didn't come. He always answered his phone, but did not today nor did he call me with a reason for again not showing up. My suggestion to anyone wanting to use this company is to take 24 hours to inspect their job carefully before writing that final check. May save you my type of headache.
